@Spiritmon -
You've entered a chamber where a Cofagrigus has created a garden out of fossils. Beyond him is the door leading to the artifact - made from a magical metal.
All the Yamask servants are carrying identical keys.
Cofagrigus has a hexagonal pattern of gems on his body.
Is there a key with a hexagonal pattern too? Or a key who looks like very much different? And how it is those Yasmaks carrying those keys?
RE: [Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins - Iron - 06-10-2019
The Yamask each have two keys, one in each hand. But the keys are all identical, simple little keys.
The party hasn't seen the door up close yet.

Hooray. Σ(°△°|||) On the other hand, we're within the Skull Ruins.
People, somehow I feel we cannot progress without a battle, or at least not as efficiently as if it does come down to one. I'm scared of fighting in this ominous scenario and enjoying how dramatically it'll likely be at the same time, but the first of the Artifact is at stake, and we NEED it, we need it at all cost. What we CAN and maybe should do however, is trying to minimize the amount of foes we'd be facing, for example by:
- Dealing with these 2D Gengar via destroying their Clefable Statues as suggested above in a previous post.
- Onari from Terra's side disguising herself as a Yamask and attempting to steal that Odd Keystone without triggering its content.
- Trying to lure away a good amount of Yamask somehow, technically to a different battlefield where we'd take on them first together and then move on to Cofagrigus to handle it with united forces.
Going to try negotiation with the spectral coffin would also be an idea, and in that case it'd probably be Shiva due to her natural talent in that, or Spira due to his connection with Ghost Types to attempt that, but what shall be negotiated in the first place? (To let us pass? No way in hell it would agree with that, I fear.)
EDIT: Wait, things are looking differently, maybe we don't have to battle at all. How neat!

Honestly, if I seem a little distracted lately, it's mostly because I have been getting SLAMMED at work recently.
We keep losing people on the side of the store I work on, and we don't have enough qualified new hires to make up for that. Scheduling is starting to be stretched a little thin. I'm practically the only person who comes in first thing in the morning in my department (besides my manager).
It's been super stressful :/

And for the fun fact of the day; in Gen V, in order to trade a Cofagrigus on the GTS, you had to nickname it, otherwise it'd get caught in the offensive nickname filter, as it apparently wasn't programmed to exclude Pokemon species names.

"fag" in America is a slur against homosexuals.

RE: [Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins - Lord Windos - 06-10-2019
....I'm not too happy that you used Telekinesis like that, Phantom, since the chance of a Pokemon noticing was high and getting caught also auto invalidates my plan (or makes it MUCH harder), but what has happened, happened. Still, I bring it up to make a point of it, which is simple: at least give our charas a chance to deny or do our own stuff before an Action is Rolled out. Otherwise, we're going to be caught up in whatever occurs, which is most likely NOT what we wanted.
Unless Iron decides to have Terra already go back a little, in preparation of Digging that probably won't be happening at some point

If you'd like to be back a little, that's fine.
I just don't want the thread getting paralyzed.
