I did not.  Pick Up triggers at the end of a floor in Mystery Dungeons.

Just added two more houserules to the first page of the meta thread.

Huge/Pure Power Ability: Changed to 'the user gets +1 Strength'
Natural HP Healing: You recover 1 HP every time you move to a new tile in a mystery dungeon

Welp, that Round went better and worse than I expected. Better seeing as the group actually got both Gligar downed and got some great damage in on Medititie, but worse seeing as Dax got the Poison and Karen got chunked all the way down to - 3 Pain. In the most ideal scenario, Dax will take one more Poison Damage as the Round Ends before Kee can get the chance to heal him and the yoggist will be dispatched before they get a chance to press its advantage on Karen, leaving us with the aquatic salamander at 2/5 HP and Karen at 1/4. This means the group will lose two more Orans at the very least to treat their injuries, unless we want to gamble delaying healing our party members in the hopes of finding the Stairs/Exit to Dry Woods and letting the newly implement Dungeon Regen fix them up.

I'm personally halfway inclined to use Pyra's last Oran on Karen and having Dax suffer his wounds until absolutely necessary to treat them, but that's just my opinion. That, and the battle's not quite over yet, so who knows how much better or worse things will turn out when all is said and done?

Will get up post after dinner, so until then mates!

Well I just looked at my item list. Turns out I've got a couple of Lum Berries so I can snarf one down. Unsure if eating a berry replaces my move? Or does anyone have a pecha berry?

A Lum Berry is much more valuable healing-wise than a Pecha Berry is, so I kinda feel it'd be more wise if I were to let you have Kee's single Pecha Berry and you save those Lum Berries as emergency healing shall anyone of us be inflicted with another Status Ailment.

Poison will become more serious if left untreated, so I'd rather heal it instantly after the battle's over. As for letting Karen have your last Oran Berry, I'm much in favour for that in-chara - outta-chara, let's rather wait for how the battle ends and then decide, alright? It's 3 of us who'll go before that Meditite at 3HP, so the chance that we defeat them before they get to attack is relatively high.

You should probably wait until after the battle before you attempt to scarf down a Lum in order to help gank the Meditite and end them before they get another Action, or save doing so as a 2nd Action (after an attack) so that Dax can immediately cure his Poisoning before the Status ticks his HP down again, which will leave him with 4/5 HP upon the next tile transition. Of course, doing more than a single Action will give your first Action a total Accuracy reduction of - 3 ( 2 Actions Cost + 1 Pain), so if you want to go that route I say using a Willpoint to add a Success to whatever Attack Roll you could go with wouldn't be an undue precaution. Every bit of HP counts in a dungeon, so trading Will for it seems like a sound investment imo.

RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Spiritmon - 04-18-2020

I only have a Big Apple, a Kunai, a Big Nugget, and a Snow Scarf.

Well...we could cut the place where the poison is using the Kunai and someone could suck the poison from you to reduce its effects on you.

Any voluntary?

RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Dragonstrike - 04-18-2020

I think this is a good time for a formal Rules Clarification.

Item Usage: Healing Items (HP, status, etc) are usable at the end of each set of Turns in a Round, and can be used up to twice per Round.  Items with other kinds of effects (Violent Seed, Orbs, etc.) typically take an action to use.

Ewww, no, preferably not.
