Lurantis mentioned the Dragon Prophecy when she went over the locations of the artifacts, so everyone (besides maybe the Scims) should know about it.

Gotcha! Well, if you or Spiritmon don't mind, I'll have Terra lead the group into Nidoran City, and start poking around it for any info pertaining to the Prophecy!

I would prefer it if Nathan walks in alongside Terra, tbh, if only because Nathan and Gallade are going to make sure Terra doesn't get into any battles/trouble.

Fair enough! Terra wouldn't on purpose, but I can understand why the pair wouldn't want him wandering off alone right now. I can make sure to include he asks Nathan to tag along with him, if you want.

I presume that judging by the lack of info provided, Terra's and Nathan's search/investigation came up empty. So we're left making a blind decision as to who will wield/attempt the wield The Sword.
Speaking from enlightened self interest here, I want Terra to be the one to wield it. Out of everyone, he's the tankiest by far and actually has the experience/desire to Fight himself (if need be or not), but ironically doesn't have much in the way of sheer firepower Moves or methods of buffing that don't have a downside/is situational (Angie's Agility non-withstanding, but using it now in days is more situational than not, due to Terra actually be fast and having a stellar default Dice Pool) . Almost all of Nathan's Pokemon either have direct STR buffing and/or High BP STABs, and has his Extreme Dexterity fueling their attacking and giving them Crits for days, so from a purely Non-Plot Device standpoint he's a-okay. Heart and Spira, though......they could also use The Sword to beef them up, but Heart already has a Moltres for literal future firepower, and Spira has something to do with Darkai , so they may not have pressing need of it.
You could argue that Terra having Arete disqualifies him from getting The Sword, but I say that ain't so for two reasons: Arete isn't really and truly a proper Plot Deviced Pokemon (Still a great one, though!), and their power level/potential is nerfed appropriately until it gets decked out in mods/grows up (Both options which cost great resources and muns). The fact they also a XP void and are stuck with their current Moveset until they get modded/TMed and Tutored also undermines it as a true blue powerhourse, so bear that in mind too.
That's my argument. What about yours, mates?
RE: [Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins - Dragonstrike - 07-31-2019
The Sword is more than a weapon. It's a symbol of leadership. Whoever bears it will bear great responsibility, both now and in the future. And Nathan is all too willing to bear that responsibility if it means he can save his home.
That, and he desires to finish what his dad started.
Out of everyone in the group, Nathan has the most at stake when it comes to the threat of Deoxys (and the threat of Almanac/Scims). It'd be fitting for him to lead the charge, imho.
