Update: I survived the holidays! ...Only to get slammed into a busy work week! Not that I mind too much - more money is very good, yes - but it has put a damper on my plans to get to updating things in a timely manner. I'll have time after 11:00 PM to get to writing and the rest of tomorrow, though how much I'll get done depends on how long I'll conk out once I get tired. We've had a long break, but hopefully I can get things moving once more for everyone's enjoyment!

No problem mate! We all had a rough week. Also, I think I go forward with my decision. Gonna find at least another ally for our battle against the Super Boss. I would prefer one who we could use it's strengths to exploit the typing weakness, but if demands time, I will let be random since I don't want to give the super boss more time to be prepared.

Also as a side note: After two years, me and my friends finish Age of Ashes campaign we play recently! The final battle towards the ending was extremely difficult even with the preparations we did, but in the end we save the world. All that's left is do the characters epilogues, do the final battle between two characters and then put a end to the story.

I‘m flying to Singapore for my vacation today. I did take my tablet with me so I should still be able to post on the evenings, if a bit shorter then usual. Got my sheet and resources on there so all good ln that front.

Did someone say Team Star?  Well well well, isn't that interesting?

Seddi could potentially pull some strings there if we want to try and get them on board.  Or even if we don't bring them to battle, maybe he could convince them to do specific jobs around the camp. Revival Blessing is literally life saving after all.

Just an after-break reminder/hint that I'm waiting on a response on your side on this post of mine for progress, @Lord Windos (and my latest PM to you, that too). Curious how you progress the scene, yey, yes~ No worries or hurry though, as I'm occupied today anyway with errands and can get to it tomorrow after work at earliest.

Speaking about Team Star, aka something from/related to Paldea (maybe slightly offtopic, related to TheWildLands at the end)

I'm currently having a blast watching my favorite Vtuber's playthrough of Pokemon Violet while drawing and scribbling. Bonus points for her being unhinged and me building an informed opinion on these games. ...While there are things that are nice and cool, there are also a lot of things that would personally put me off as a player in the long run, it's been the right decision to move away from the official games.

However, what came to great a suprise to me that I've grown quite the liking on the mechanic of Terastallizing! Gamefreak did particularly great on my two favorite Types, Dark and Fairy (images and screenshots incoming)

And now the master question. Does Terastallizing exist in Sutalör? I loooowkey doubt it because it's directly linked to Terrapago and Area Zero, but if it DOES exist, I'm totally interested in getting Bernhard a Terra Orb in the long run and playing around with that on top of spells. (Terastallizing Myra into Ghost-Type due to her background? Heck yes. Terrastallized Noxfor even more dragon or dark power? Heck yes x2.)

Also to quote something from the second post of this MetaThread:

The mechanic is genuinely very fun and creative.  But man, do top level singles players have mixed feelings on pokemon being able to flip their type matchups on a whim...(VGC players don't mind it at all though)

I find it really funny that some folks complain about the silly hats, suggest a bunch of smaller details to identify the type changes, and they're all details that are already implemented alongside the hats (a crystalline sheen of the type's color and particle effects swirling around the pokemon's model being the big two).  The hat just gets the most attention because it's the easiest thing to point at (which is entirely the point of it being there at all).

Seddi could have started the game with access to Windos's version of Tera, so using it ourselves is definitely a possibility down the line.  It's absolutely a mechanic I want to play around with too because of both the potential it has and the flavor of Seddi being Paldean.  Off type teras are normally pretty rare without special circumstances or outside intervention of some kind though, so expect to see a lot of default STAB Tera types.

RE: [Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - PhantomUnderYourDesk - 07-09-2025

Huh, I actually like these hats also because they're somewhat silly, if one wants to put it that way. People complaning about them sounds to me more like people complaining about the mechanic as a whole, orhating on the games in general, whatever floats their boat ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Off-type teras being pretty rare - yeah, I'm aware of that, that's what makes them special!~ Default Type = Tera Type is fine too though, yes please to even more powerful STAB attacks.

*insert that fat cat of heavy breathing and being like 'me want'* That's two people wanting to work on getting a Tera Orb, yay! Also kinda makes me curious on how and why it works in Sutalör, yesyes~
