Life is good, gotta figure out what to do with myself now that the show is over. Gonna get back into creative writing - I have enough ideas for my urban fantasy novel now.

You'll find something to meaningfully occupy your time, Iron. You know how to use your time best, so I believe you won't be long without some hobby to fill the void!
Speaking of your future book, how goes the progress with the one your currently writing? Has the editing process gone well, or has it hit a few snags?

Didn't get the positive feedback I was hoping for on that one, so I'm shelving it for now until I learn some things. Then I can fix it.

Phantom, since Shiva is more inclined in the mystic arts, any tips for magic chants or something? I could edit my last post if necessary.

I'm not Phantom, but I do know a bit of occultic and arcane knowledge, and I have one tidbit for you: Replace Flying with Ground. That way you're calling for the Chinese Elemental Quintet, and going off an established old system like that has a bit more lore and flavor for Iron and you to draw upon. That, and look up your local legends and myths about the elements and ritualistic practices. Authenticity adds a lot to these sorts of posts!

I'm currently brainstorming ideas for the Mason gym battle. Have a few ideas already, but what's getting me stuck right now is what to do with Fishur.
'Cuz, er...it just sounds like a Whiscash, honestly. Not to rag on the idea or anything, since a pokemon comparable to an otter sounds like a cool idea, but...it really sounds like it should have been related to Whiscash with that name and the given movepool.

Learn how to draw to add illustrations to any of your writings. (>v< )

You're good, any tip I would give comes down to the same thing that dear Windos already said: Research some stuff to make stuff convincable, search for inspiration, do what you enjoy~

Thanks. Both of you. I like the tip very much, thank you!

It's a weasel.

It's fast, not bulky. Much more like Floatzel. Its fighting ability is entirely out of proportion to its small size.

If it's getting you stuck, I could swap it out with a more familiar Pokemon from Mason's team and save Fishur for a proper introduction.
