Startled was what you could call the look on his face when Shiva not only gave him a great big Bewear hug, but also a Smoochum kiss on his check! When she settled into the crock of his arms and started to chat about his new capture like nothing was wrong, Ventus looked down upon his friend? (He wasn't quite sure if he could call he that right now, when she was acting like one of his-'no Ventus, bad thoughts! Bad!') with a mixture of confusion and shyness, with a heaping helping of embarashment throw in just for good measure. Still, he managed to choke out what he was going to say to her, before this...cuddle session happened.

"I...already killed Pokémon myself, Shiva. I...don't want to...discuss the topic....so please don't inquire about...it. I can't...promise you that....I will not harm anyone that tries to....harm us on our journey, but I will....try not to resort to violence first." Taking a steading breath, he collect his emotions (Which were currently doing the Olympics in his head right now at Shiva's interest in him) and clamps down on them, before he lets it out and responds to Shiva's request to meet Stunky. "I'm afraid I can't do that. Ariel battered the critter with Bubbles until it passed out, and I had Apsis paralyze it to make it easier for me to capture, so its not in the best condition for...socialization right now. Truth be told, the only reason I spared it was because it was shiny, as I can get something of value for it from either a collecter or scientist."

From a lovely day in Corsage to an almost terrible night in Fireweed, today has been playing with him hard. He is indeed having interesting times!

Order: Spend however much time Shiva want to with them, before heading to bed for a good night's rest as well. Since Ven has medical knowledge (Some), he can offer advice to Nathan on how to treat those injuries, if asked.

Two potions.  

Everything Ven had given him had been enough to help the wound begin proper mending, it seems.  

He takes one of them and hands it back to Ventus.  "Here.  Can't leave you completely potionless, right?  Don't worry, I've still got a spare for emergencies, and I can pick up some more when we get back to town."

With a nod of his head, he quietly accept the Potion from him, before stowing it away back in his satchel. He doesn't want to cause tension to flare between them again, so he keeps his peace for the rest of the night. After he says this, though : "Thank you, Nathan. If you would, let me check on Kirlia's injury in the morning. I'm not a medical doctor, but I learned enough about Pokémon Healtcare, Handling, and Biology to know how to at least properly examine and help accelerate the healing process. It helps that I worked with a Garvadour in the past, so there is that as well."

Aww. How adorable to see Ven so distraught. More fascination? Did Shiva accidently casted a spell on him? Eh... Maybe she just had a little too much of lavender-tea there at the Fortune Hunter Lady, and the effects are still present.

Finally though, she slowly let go of him, still an appreciating smile on her face. Today was an interesting day, partly absolutely splendid, partly absolutely horrible. But things worked out in the end. How nice to see... But can this day finally end with some proper rest?

"Hehe... That's fine. There is no need to rush things, I didn't expect to see the skunk right away. Besides, I don't have that...Comite with me neither. But still, I'd like to see your shiny before you ever trade it away, please. Just...because it's a rarity... Maybe you know my fondness of rare and elusive Pokemon by now."

A few moments later... "So... With that resolved, can we go back and get some well deserved rest then? That's why we came to Fireweed Forest in the first place, after all... "

A last look to the sky above. The stars were so pretty... It felt like they were smiling back.

Ventus couldn't help the sigh of relief he let out when Shiva release him from her comfortable-'No, don't go there, she's far too young for you!'-arms, but he tried to keep it quiet as possible. "That can certainly be arranged, though I have to make sure that Stunky doesn't try to use Night Slash on us when that time comes, so that might take awhile. I would love to see that odd Pokémon you caught, however. Comite, you called it? Well, plenty of time to figure that out later. Good night, my friend. I will see you at dawn," he said, before getting up and quickly making his way into his tent, with Apsis following closely behind. She gave Shiva an odd look, before huffing a bit and slithering into Ventus tent compartment. Shiva might have her master on the rope, but she doesn't control her at ALL. She would just love to see her try...

(Ok, bed time for reals now! I'll be up in 3 or 5 hours, and I might not even post that much by the time I awaken. This whole event has been quite taxing for me, after all....)

Did that Arbok just...huffed at her? How weird. Why of all costs did the snake gave Shiva such a reaction? Maybe Apsis did not like her, simply. Maybe she did not enjoy seeing her...interacting with her Master like this? Eh, there is no need to be jealous.

Shiva backed away a little in fear at this reaction of Apsis, but within the same breath, she also knew - and naively hoped - that Ven would never ever allow his cobra to get too close to her and her Pokemon, as much as she may wonder how a fluffball or a fierely fox taste like... Ugh.

Instead, it was time get some proper rest by now. Likely no bad dreams tonight, no awaking all of a sudden for no reason... what a nice thought.

Valder saw the light of the campsite and picked up his pace a few.

 When he arrived, he saw the girl - ...Shiva?- preparing her bed.
 The two other boys where just standing around. No one were talking, but to Valder, the sensation seemed like a good one. Valder was in a relatively good mood and guessed that everyone else was as well.

 "Sorry, everyone. I didn't realise you were going camping" he said a bit shyly. Then when everyone became aware of his presence he got a little kick of more shyness, but he quickly fought that off not wanting to look stupid.

 Theo (who is as per usual out of his ball) seemed to find something he had done funny, but Valder couldn't know what his pokemon were thinking.

A lethal damage is a type of hit point. If you had taken one lethal damage, a potion would heal you back up to max. Miraculous stuff, really!

Everyone goes to sleep. No one has any dreams except Nathan and Kirlia, who both dream of a scarred Pokemon with black and white fur and a black horn on its head. When Nathan wakes up, he sees Kirlia's eyes open too and knows he had the same dream.

Nathan is sure this is a bizarre manifestation of Kirlia's psychic powers - a prediction, not a malicious experience. It has none of the draining properties one might associate with Corsage Port dreams.

The wild Zangoose is still nearby, though only someone selecting that encounter will know this. You can also still choose the Natural Item slot.

Day 15 begins! A few more days of sleep like last night, and your Will point will recover.

Oh. Shiva almost missed the words he was speaking, they were spoken so shyly and quiet, which was uncommon for a man like Valder was - at least, in her view. Not meaning it's something bad or something that had to be changed, in fact, she enjoyed quite much that the mercenary Ven acquired there was not as intimidating and 'strong' as she feared at first.

Therefor, she was quite delighted to see him! So delighted that she came over and carefully took his hand into both of hers. And looked up to him, clearly showing that she's glad to see him. Let's hope it does not increase his shyness, but gives him a feeling that things are alright.

"My, you're back and your're safe... That's indeed good to see!~ Where were you the whole time? And, what's more important, you got a minute? There is a thing I wanted to discuss with you."

That sleep was actually restful. Mostly.

That dream...that piercing gaze...that...scar...

When Nathan wakes up the next morning, he has a bizarre feeling that...maybe he hasn't been seeing things after all...

He looks over at Kirlia...and sees he's awake too. They're eyes lock...and he just...knows. That wasn't just any dream.

That Absol...it really is out there...

What did it want, though? Why was it following him? And why couldn't Kirlia seem to sense its presence if it had actually been in at least one of the locations he'd spotted it at before?

There'll be enough time to worry about it later, though. The first thing Nathan does is check on Kirlia's arm. Most of the worst damage was healed, thankfully, but the bite marks were still there. Hopefully it wouldn't scar too badly if it didn't heal fully...the Crunch had gone rather deep, though...Nathan isn't entirely sure what to do about it. He's never had to deal with lethal wounds before...it was a wonder he'd even been able to staunch the bleeding even a little, really...he goes outside to see if Ventus is out there and available to help with Kirlia. After they get that arm checked out, they could just relax for a little and do some peaceful Calm Mind training. They both needed it this morning, to be frank...last night had been...harrowing. And Nathan could feel that Kirlia was reeaaaalllly close to learning Calm Mind now. Just a little more....
