RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Dragonstrike - 04-18-2020 I just remembered I forgot to account for Intimidate for Meditite's attack. Edited so that Karen only took 2 damage instead of 3 since removing the rightmost die removed a success. RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Lord Windos - 04-18-2020 (04-18-2020, 07:01 PM)no one Wrote: Wait I'm confused. What's the plan? When do I get the berry, and who's attacking the meditite? The Plan: Everyone that goes before Meditite (Which should be Dax, Kogeki, and Marcus) gets the chance to act will use their strongest Attack Move (Ideally one that also Flinches or screws with Accuracy/DEX too) on it, in the hopes of KOing it before it gets the chance to use its 1st Action. Regardless of that outcome and before the Round ends, Kee will use one of their 'Healing Actions' to quickly Cure Pax of his Poisoning , thereby leaving him with 3/5 HP at the end of the battle , assuming that Meditite is KOed and/or doesn't hurt them or anyone else. Ideally, both Dax and Karen will have 4/5 and 3/4 HP (Because if Karen is at 2/4 HP after Dragonstrike's correction, I don't want to use an Oran on her) by the time the group transitions into the next dungeons tile and free of any Status, leaving them relatively fresh and ready for the dangers up ahead. Hopefully that cleared things up, mate! RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - no one - 04-19-2020 (04-18-2020, 07:19 PM)Lord Windos Wrote:Yep, all clear now. RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Spiritmon - 04-19-2020 Dragon my friend two things: 1 - Have sent you my wish movelist for Kogeki. Its to much big the list or it is okay to handle? 2 - Karen actually open a good question. The Pokemon who Delta Riolu absorb get somehow hurt or it is just leave sleeping and all that? RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Spiritmon - 04-19-2020 (04-19-2020, 02:36 PM)PhantomUnderYourDesk Wrote: Thats actually a good question. Its kinda...a both of Delta Riolu instict, and a strong desire to become stronger. In human life, Kogeki wanted to be more stronger to not lost anything anymore, like he lost Shimo. Even without remembering who she was, and much of his previous life, the desire to become stronger still exist. And the instict of absorb Aura...Well thats something who exist within Delta Riolu Pokedex: Pokedex Entry Delta Riolu, the Withdrawl Pokemon. Where Sinnohese Riolu are known for emanating a powerful aura that they have little control over and alerts everyone around them of their presence, Delta Riolu are known for having the exact opposite effect on their surroundings. They are able to sense auras much like their Fighting type counterparts, but their bodies have a tendency to absorb portions of other creatures' auras instead of emanating their own aura themselves, and they're able to anticipate if the owner of the aura might be dangerous because of it. It has been reported that creatures that remain in a Delta Riolu's presence for too long will eventually feel spine chills and get the feeling that something is watching them from the shadows behind them. And when they turn around, the glowing blue eyes of Delta Riolu are staring back at them from a shadowy corner as the pokemon slowly (and unwillingly) absorbs the creature's aura... Some Delta Riolu purposely distance themselves from all other living creatures, not wishing to harm anyone accidentally. Others embrace their powers and prey on the auras of unsuspecting individuals frequently. How and if this affects their evolution is unknown. RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Spiritmon - 04-19-2020 So yeah, everyone might be careful when around Kogeki, since he could acidentally absorb someone Aura. Dragonstrike was inspire when he created the Delta Riolu species. RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - PhantomUnderYourDesk - 04-19-2020 This last sentence about 'preying on the auras of unsuspecting individuals' is/would be what makes Kee uncomfortable, from the wording it doesn't come off to me that it's certain that this draining doesn't do more harm than good to a fainted 'Mon, especially if certain deltadogs purposely shun others out of a wish to not harm anyone accidently. And I'm somewhat certain that there are more/other ways to become stronger, they just have to be found. Dragonstrike was inspire when he created the Delta Riolu species. Well, Pyra and Kee will likely will heavily resist Kogeki's passive aura drain due to their Dark typing and own boundless energy, but Dax might be in trouble in the future while Karen probably needs to stay far away from the phantom brave until she grows strong enough to better endure it, possibly until she Evolves. In any case, Pyra literally doesn't care one whiff about their aura drain, even if they affect her, so that's one Pokemon you don't have to worry about persecuting or fearing him! Well, if you want, I could make Kogeki only Aura Drain really really powerfull individuals such as bosses or really powerful enemies, since those types of characters might have a highter resistance and dont that badly harm than other Pokemon. How this sounds Phantom? So long as the aura draining only happens to wild mobs or those that deserve it/won't complain and/or find out about it later , I say we should let Spirit and Kogeki sap away at the life forces of our enemies! If it makes him stronger and/or accelerates his Evolution into a Delta Lucario, I say let him indulge his soul/aura thirsting instincts! Other ways to grow stronger do exist (Such as training and battling), but they're not as unique or exclusive as his, and therefore probably not wholely optimal for him on their own without the aura drain supplement. The 'Dex entry never explicitly states that draining aura isn't necessary for a Delta Rilou's healthy growth, you know. If his aura draining becomes a problem, we'll deal with it then and perhaps modify how we treat it from then on, but not for now, okay? Please? |
