RE: [Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - Lord Windos - 02-28-2024 @PhantomUnderYourDesk : Yes the flowers can be collected, though your hands tingle as you pluck them. They are called Soubaly Flowers, and have potent powers… Yes, the Myra scene was an Encounter; it was a bonding scene a a chance for Zephy to craft. Sorry if that was not clear. RE: [Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - PhantomUnderYourDesk - 02-28-2024 Good to know and thanks for clarifying, dear! If these Soubaly flowers have potent powers, all the more reason to collect some, regardless the tingling. Just going to use tha gauntlet'ed hand for plucking them then. EDIT: I'll be off for sleep and work later on then, see y'all!~ RE: [Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - Dragonstrike - 02-28-2024 I spent way too long thinking about how to word the closing bit of that post tbh. All done now though! RE: [Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - Spiritmon - 02-28-2024 Now that is a good question...is there anything Oz could do in the meantime about what to do while everyone is doing their things before we head up to the next scene? RE: [Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - Lord Windos - 02-28-2024 I’ll give everyone a chance to give a general plan before I progress things . Don’t worry about the lack of specifics: you’ll be given PLENTY of things to do that should match up with your interests. RE: [Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - Dragonstrike - 02-28-2024 On the one hand, I really like that I've had plenty to go off of that's given me a clear sense of direction for this early part of a more open-ended game. On the other hand, sorry if it seems like I'm stringing everyone along by detailing all the important P L O T info I was privy to due to character background choices. I'm not trying to be the primary focus character of the story in every campaign I play in, I swear! It just sorta happened again... Okay, got that off my chest. Excited to see how we all get to contribute to the wider plot! Edit: You'll definitely get that battle with Seddi, Spirit. Just not immediately since he's got a lot he needs to do now that he's in Sutalör. Being on Official League Business™ has both perks and downsides. Could tag along and help him out if you want, or you can do something else to pass the time while he finishes his initial business with the Professor and various legal channels. That was due to you actually doing phenomenally well in Backstory Creation and making all the right choices. Otherwise your PC would've been kept in the dark on the matter until the time was right for any amount of The Truth. So have some well earnt kudos for that, mate! *Shrugs* Speaking as the GM, this campaign is intended to be open-ended with a few questlines you guys can latch onto if you want a more directed experience. Heck, I'm okay with you guys ignoring the obvious Plot Hook that was the Intro and the Info Dump Seddi gave if you just want to explore or complete your own objectives independent of everyone else - the campaign is very flexible in regards to player choice and what routes you want to take. Be a Hero like Seddi, sod off to explore and hunt for Rare Pokemon and Ancient Treasures, discover the hidden secrets of the land and The Grand Ancestors, Attempt the Trails of Enlightenment to gain your very own Legend, side with or against whomever you like...all that and more! You just so happened to get a lead on one of them - whether or not Seddi and you maintain it and remain a strong focus remains to be determined! And trust me - the other Players and their PCs will have their moments to shine or grab the spotlight. Some more than others and in rather drastic ways due to...particular choices they made, but on the Level I'm try my best to meet everyone half-way and give Staring Roles for points in the plot. I would delay PC vs PC Battles until at least Day 4, mates. These are rather....lengthy and intense affairs due to the amount of PMs and plotting each side has to make, and I rather have everyone get into the groove of game and explore Bayhama sufficiently enough before engaging in Player Made Encounters. RE: [Meta Thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands - Spiritmon - 02-29-2024 Heck yeah! I will like to take that PC battle, but I wait due to Windos recommendation. Besides, I want to explore a bit this place, and see what have in store in this place. Maybe capture and befriend a Pokemon or other to include in my team, since I have only 3 Pokemon, so keeping cool Pokemon is always good thing. Besides, want to put my three witches into some action and take of the rust. In character it's been a long while since Oz Pokemon had a battle, so the three of them is probably excited to get into action, specially Persephone since she is the most trickster one! Taking it slow is a good thing imo too, since who knows what you'll run into that can either enhance future plans or derail them entirely... Searching for a Battle? I'll keep that in mind then... This is all pleasant and relieving to know, I appreciate this input a lot and will keep that in mind, genuine thanks. Because, uhm...yes, I'm not up for any feelings of being inferior and 'less important' as PC so to speak in quite the similar way I felt like Shiva was in TheSkullRuins around the time of the third Ghost-Type-Gym. Me feels in terms of Plot Hooks, me feels it intervines more or less nicely and semi-loosely with Bern's view of 'the journey is the reward' and 'meaningful traveling for a purpose'. Also for your information Windos, I'm home early and free of work tomorrow, so more time to dwell and rp here, praise be! .・.・:☆\(^v^ ) |
