I'll keep that in mind from now on.
When we reach Ginger Town, I think I'll give you guys a trainer XP boost to let you round out your stats a little more, now that you know what gameplay is like. If you reach 10 trainer XP before then, you can use it to bring an attribute from a 1 to a 2. Skills like Fight only cost 8. Specialties (canalize, brawl) cost 6! So those are good investments for our new trainers.

Seeing that my chara has 1 in Survival... With that -1 during Berry Search it will be Zero. Am I still getting a Luck Dice for a chance to find something ?
Also, am I allowed to say "There's a Berry Tree... But it's just in bloom. No ripe berries to harvest." You'll see why.

Yeah you can still have a Luck Dice.
Berries are relatively common on this route, so you may find a blooming Oran OR Persim OR Chesto plant when you search.

I also wanted to ask if everyone was OK with a touch of darkness in this game. The anime and gameboy games are pretty cuddly, and Poliwags are not eaten in them.
Aspis and Raphael gain 1 XP each and you gain 1 XP. (It is split between all Pokes in a battle).*
*The rules say half is lost, but I say that is too harsh for this forum game.

Wouldn't Apsis and Raphael get 5 XP, since 4 rounds of combat occurred, and Ventus get 3XP (1 XP + 1/2 XP Pokémon earned)?
Also, did Ventus gain an XP point at the start of the in-game day (When we first embarked onto Route 1?)? Sorry for bugging you about this, but I'm honestly curious.

Oh I did make that rule about combat XP rounds, didn't I.. Upon further review that is simply too much XP. Instead, the number of rounds a combat takes might be taken into consideration when determining the toughness of an encounter.
Wild battles are worth 2XP base, plus bonuses as they get tougher.
Trainers are 3XP, plus bonuses as they get tougher.
I'm also going to give full XP for caught wild Pokemon instead of half.
However, Everyone take 2 trainer XP because 2 game days have gone by.
Sorry I didn't communicate this earlier. So yeah, that was a really good question.

I'm down with that. It's more fun and authentic(!) if it's not an all-sunny bright world.

Hmm... out of logic, does that mean that if we're at in-game day #17 as example and assuming that everyone of us has posted at least once every in-game day, we're getting like 17 XP? I glady take them, but it sounds a little weird to me... I thought it's 1 XP fixed.

So I would have base 2XP for both my Pokémon that battled (plus any bonuses you apply), and Ventus would get 2XP (1XP + 1/2 XP from Pokémon?) on top of 2 XP from the amount of in game days past?
