One last plea from Nathan. He won't make any attempts to stop Ventus, but he is going to try a slightly different line of reasoning...

You people think a Pokemon battle will solve things? Haha.... NOPE. I don't think so.
I....don't want that. Ventus doesn't want that either. But damn it, what else can happen at this point? That, after seeing both his friends so easily waver over a beast that nearly could have killed them, he would just let the whole matter go after hearing an argument so blatantly illogical? Nathan, at the very least, had the Tandorian values over Pokémon life and being extremely innocent/sensitive over matters like this, but Shiva had none of those hang ups. In fact, she showed quite the opposite at times: that she was completely in agreement with Ven's more brutal actions, and even comforted him about them.
He'll head her advice and take her offered support 99% of the time, but when things like this almost happen to her, he's not afraid to hurt her feeling if it means that her safety is absolutely ensured. That's just the way things are, my love....

For the shake of everyone, I desperately hope its a FANTASTIC one. I meant it when I said Rattatta isn't worth it at this point, but with so many forces pushing Ven to kill the thing...

@Iron, and both of you two, I'd like to call for an Insight Roll whether Ventus does find the Rattata at all. After all, I placed it somewhere away from camp, plus it's nighttime.

My love, he already agreed that I would be all but guaranteed to find it, given my high Survival stat. If he added in Insight into the mix, Ven would be practically attracted to it like iron to a lodestone. If he can't find it, Shiva is right there with him, so its not like he can't badger her for answers.

Ah... Okay, I must have missed that. Forget my suggestion.

@Dragonstrike, bonding between our charas succeeded! *sobs happily*
RE: [Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins - Dragonstrike - 07-02-2017
The solution is so simple: death by predator. It's a fairly normal occurrence already, and not nearly as disturbing. Aspis should have no trouble finding the Rattata, either, since Ventus is just that good at tracking stuff.
Now then, I hope that solved the issue...
RE: [Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins - PhantomUnderYourDesk - 07-02-2017
I didn't thought of this idea at all, and least of all expected it to come from Nathan, who expressed dislike of Ven's habit of feeding fainted wil Pokemon to his corbra... But this is brilliant and does greatly go after Shiva's taste. While she does not agree on people killing Pokemon, a predator devouring the rat is just natural.
RE: [Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins - Dragonstrike - 07-02-2017
Unfortunately for the rodent, it tried to kill Kirlia. So Nathan is feeling just a little less merciful than usual, even if he was ready to defend it from Ventus if he had to (since Nathan himself didn't kill it earlier). He's taken that time while everyone was conversing to think about what he thought would be the right thing to do...and while there really isn't a 'right' answer, there's certainly a 'natural' one.
Of course, this won't work with trainers and their pokemon...but those are easier to argue against obliterating. Mostly. Wild pokemon like Rattata...that's where the conundrums primarily lay...
