Neat, that egg checker was way more detailed than Shiva could imagine. Needless to say that it was quite a worthy thing to have, indeed, only issue was...to get a Pokedex for herself to install the software on it for further use. Currently though, there were other, more important things to look after.

Actually, it was not THAT suprising that something was special and rare about this egg and/or the species that will hatch from it given it's unusual markings and the fact that neither Professor Mallorn nor her father could say a thing about what may hatch from it, but it was surely suprising nevertheless. Also, the anticipation what will hatch from it as well as the thankfullness over the fact that Vincent sent it over to the Daycare for her to take care of received a nice boost. Wherever Vincent and his faithful Growlithe were, may the stars protect them and bless them with good fortune.

"Thanks! So... I knew there must be something in there, but I didn't imagine in my wildest dream that it's THAT special or bred for a specific trait... Guess whatever will hatch from there, it'll be something with a specific meaning...or purpose... Or so it seems. And something that is neither known in the regions queried, right?"

"Oh, speaking of regions... 'No further queries available'... That and what you say about migrants from Kanto and Jotho, that seems to mean that any Pokemon from Unova, Kalos - not speaking about Alola, those islands are waaay to far away for any chances - met here in Chresire is something rather uncommon? I got a Fletchling just here at Vapor Falls... and a Fennekin in Fireweed Forest."

What followed now, was Shiva just starring at this weird egg. It seemed like it got even more weird and even more valuable to her. "The egg Checker doesn't seem being able to tell me WHEN it might hatch, can it?"

"Fletchling is one exception, as there are quite a few of them. They actually were brought here by breeders looking for Flame Body. But that Fennekin of yours is quite a rare catch."

"It's not very accurate or precise, but you just have to flip over to this other tab to get the time." BEEP

"Estimated gestation remaining: 8-20%."

"That means, if you'd already been carrying this egg ten days, it could take anywhere from 1 to 2 days to hatch. The Egg Checker doesn't know what species you have, so it doesn't know a normal gestation period, but it can guess how far along the cradled Pokemon is."

"Hmm... Flame Body... Makes sense then that these Fletcling are found at Vapor Falls near this Daycare. Guess if I'll have enough time, I should look into evolving mine into a precious Talonflame as well for being my hatcher to carry."

Though... "Wait a moment. Waaait. Like, this egg of mine only needs like ONE OR TWO days until it could possibly hatch? I thought it'll take much longer... But if that's the case, I'll take it with me then right away. Alright? If it's that close, I'd prefer to have it with me all the time. However, I'll still come around tomorrow morning to see the Infiltrator, that's certain. I'll bring up the offer to join me towards my group as soon as I'll meet them again - likely tonight at the Center before we all head to bed - but I cannot estimate for sure whether they'll come or not. One of 'em will surely join me due to one Pokemon - a Corsola - he'd like to possibly leave her, as well as to receive some professional advice on raising a young Pokemon. He's a good person, so don't mind that."

With that said and cleared - and a slight smile for all the effort, time and trust the Daycare owners have in her - it was time to carefully retrive the weird egg into the portable incubator it was stored in formerly, Shiva was smart enough to leave it at a specific place on the shelf of the Incubator Room to get the same one she has gotten way back during her first stay in the Daycare. It may be just emtional value, but she wouldn't enjoy it much to carry a different incubator now all of a sudden. Oh,a nd what a precious and delighted feeling it was to not being forced to put one of her party members onto Bill's PC just to carry an egg around, thank you Breeder's Lisence!~ (I've simply put the egg as a pseudo-seventh Pokemon on hand onto 'Quickpage' if that okay, Iron.)

Bidding farewell and thanking the owners again, Shiva made her way back to the Center in a plesant and warm mood, Cottonee still by her side. The sun was relatively low meanwhile, but nevertheless warm and energizing. Entering the Center from STILL the rear entrance - wonder when the main entrance will be opened again? - the first thing to do was to hand Comite to Nurse Joy to get the astral rock healed up overnights, plainly hoping that it'll be okay since the staff seemingly had quite enough to do with injured Pokemon and people according to a befriended healer-herbalist. As for Azurill... "Oh, she would appreciate to stay overnights as well since she too fainted this morning... But I think if I take it slow, I'll get the blue mouse to learn a new move with me tonight and then I'll bring her downstairs to spend the night sadly not sleeping alongside me, but attatched to a healing machine. So, is that..okay? I don't want to mess with your plans or distress you and the stuff, Joy... "

Once that has been cleared, time to stop-by both at the Cafeteria for tea as well as in the Lobby... Cause that's the place she was expecting to meet Nathan the most. (He's there?)

Aww, he was indeed there! Or came in the end to the Center, since Shiva spotted Nathan just as she was on the way to place herself at a table in the Lobby to enjoy that tea made of lavender and valearin alongside her mischievous fluffball - the aroma was rather strong, so Nathan and his Pokemon would certainly pick it up when they'd join her on the table, while Cottonee and Master greatly enjoyed it. Waving him over to her table if he hasn't spotted her or to assure that he'll come to her, "Nathan!~ Good timing. Get yourself a tea - or not - and come over, there's something I wanted to ask you."

...he still had the Absol out of the ball though. Couldn't help but to sigh impercible on that, but it was his Pokemon, he can do with it what he wants, and she was confident that he knew very well on his own that the citizans and likely the other people in the Lobby wouldn't approve the black-white feline much. Not going to say anything about it.

When she spoke to him, she held herself neutral, but not all cold or negative. Rather...friendly. "Greetings. So, ehm, I don't even want to hold you up for long, but it's good timing that you run into me. Or I run into you. Had a pleasant day?" ... "Neat. So thing is, I just came back from the Daycare to get that weird egg back to carry it with me agan now that I got my Breeder's Lisence, but that's not the point now. The point is though, that...something at the Daycare has hatched over the night, and guess what it is? An Absol. Nope, it has nothing to do with the Running, it's a Pokemon that hatched from an egg that they incubated for weeks at their place." ... "I didn't get to see it while I was there since it was sleeping the afternoon away and deserved to be left alone in peace, but the owners allowed me to come again tomorrow morning, and I thought maybe you wish to join for the sake of seeing the rarity of a young of this species? Absol are known to keep their young hidden away in caves to raise them and prepare them for the life as a desaster Pokemon, so it's surely something. Their young are also known to be a relatively precocial kind and are trained to get independent quickly, so the young won't be...well, helpless or 'young' in the narrower sense. What do you say?"

No need to look out where Ventus was at the moment or whether he's even around, since he told her that he'll be exploring town and then head to bed early. There is still the opportunity the ask him tomorrow, but it was almost certain that he'll join her on the visit of the Daycare due to possibly leaving his Corsola there and receive advices on how to raise his young Wobbuffet properly.

Sipping on tea in all calmness while Nathan spoke and before she replied to him, enjoying the refreshing it brougth and how it kept Shiva's mood up while calming her nerves from the day. Not that anything 'bad' happened, but it surely was an exciting day.

It was alos easy for Shiva to pick up his confusion, not only because of the words he spoke. "Nathan, you're not very good at hiding your feelings. But, nevermind, the question is rather 'Why not?'. They've also bred an Eevee with selected traits to become an Espeon and take the niche of a protector and guardian over the pasture to my recommendation when they asked for a matching species for this task, and an Absol to foresee any disasters from happening and being able to warn the owners and Pokemon in the Daycare in time is surely not a bad thing to have."

"Though, glad that you'll come! I'm plannning to head there right after breakfast. I'll also..ask Ventus tomorrow whether he'd like to join. I met him in town along the way, he's likely still exploring the town, but don't expect to see him until tomorrow morning since he told me he'll head to bed early tonight. He also expressed to me that he's thinking about leaving his Corsola at the Daycare, but I can't estimate whether he'd be interested in meeting a young Absol and how it interacts with us. I like to believe it could be interesting since he studied to be a Pokemon Sociologist, but in the end it's his call. Unless..." That's when she faced Nathan with a raised eyebrow and her voice got more serious, "you and him are still driven apart because his overprotectiveness?"

Cottonee meanwhile was resting on the table close to her dear Master, simply enjoying her presence and the scent of herbal tea and not even being intimidated by a fierly horse closeby. Trsuting that he has it under control and that Master would defend her Pokemon if needed.

Calam is almost always out of his Pokeball when the baby Absol is being discussed. The Disaster Pokemon is extremely interested in this young one.
