Also, you could always just tell him he's only being trade to reach his final ego, then just be return to Shiva's ownership. Simple solution, really.
On an unrelated note, how exactly would Grugde and Spite work in our Pokerole game? I say it would be pretty devastating..

@Iron, really? Nathan has a Pokedex that can trade, after all.

Spite only works on Gym Leaders and other ace trainers in this campaign, since they're the only ones who use their Will Points.
Grudge I'll have to think about. Pretty OP to have it knock the trainer out. Maybe it could have a huge accuracy penalty.

You do realize that Shiva will be incapacitated until she regains her 1 Will Point, and the fact that being in Corsage will likely prevent said Will Point regeneration? It the reason we left to go on that camping trip in the first place, you know.

You'd both need a Pokedex to be able to trade with it. Otherwise you'll need to use the machine in a Pokemon Center.
I'd give Kadabra an Insight roll at a penalty to see if he understands that he isn't really being traded, he's just being exposed to the energy of a trade machine.

I'd get the move regardless of cost, as it's pretty cool to have a move like that on hand. You have to decide how it would be implemented in the game, though. I'd like to be able to use it, so don't nerf it too hard!

I'll note that, thanks. And thanks for the patience on waiting for Instructions for the battle!

I really like the idea of a metaphysical move that goes through a Pokemon to get at their trainer. Very Ventusian.

Then I better start saving up XP for the move then! I do have questions about Nincada the self, but I'll PM you them those, instead of clogging up the thread with them.
Though, given Grudges power boost, is it even legal to use in trainer battles?
RE: [Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins - Iron - 07-10-2017
It would be a lot like using a move on the trainer himself, so no, not legal.
Maybe a custom Hold Back option that simply debuffs all their Pokemon? Still probably wouldn't be allowed in League-standard matches, but wouldn't be a crime.
