Yeah...you don't want to see Nathan get that angry. It'd be as bad as, if not worse than, when Kirlia took lethal damage. Which is why I actively looked for a way to avoid it entirely.

You people might have forgotten that there is a sort of a vile witch that'd enjoy letting the foe choke on toxic fairy dust inside Shiva, but dince she has rather good control of herself, I doubt it'd show, so it actually does not matter.
Many thanks for that decision and clearing, @Iron! I'll consider using Perform instead. I love the idea of my Fight is more something like Tai Chi or Capoeira. Yay for customization!

I, for one, think the already slotted back in Perform is an excellent substitute for Contest in this case.
If Shiva starts getting more and more showy with her battles as well, Nathan might even be the one who suggests Contests to her.

Wouldn't work if the Roll already used Perform as a Speciality, but I'll look up later in which of my moves it'd work. Just out of curiosity...
RE: [Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins - Dragonstrike - 07-17-2017
True, but considering a lot of showy moves use both, and thus they're under different stat categories...
Anyways, just think using Perform as aapartial substitute for Contest is a neat idea, that's all.

Lucky Chant is awesome , as it prevents Apsis ' spiteful vase from mucking about in her quest for items ! Begone , had rolls ! Plague my lover you shall not !
Ventus knows what depression feels like initimately so , and he shares a rather strong bond with Shiva . Combine both with his tendacy to worry greatly , and you have him racing to comfort her and figure out What the frozen he'll went wrong. Even when the cause is unknowingly himself . Oh , the irony ...

You can't get crit, your successes can't be negated by really bad RNG, and good things might randomly happen. Lucky Chant in this game is WAY stronger than it will ever be in the video games.
Well, Nathan's a partial cause too, but let's just not mention that to Ventus since that's been mostly solved already...

I am a little scared of Ven's reaction to the following. I don't want him to hate himself :C

It unavoidable at this point , dear , but things are not so bleak as they first appear . Ventus is a kind and generous soul , and ALWAYS tries to repay any debts or solve any problem he causes .
I have a plan that will hopefully not only smooth things over , but make the bonds between our character's stronger for it ! Well , I hope so at least !

Meanwhile, I'm just sitting here, waiting for that conversation to reach its end so Nathan can sneak back to the Center...
Well, at least he has Kirlia to keep his mood a little lighter in the meantime while he ponders those heavier thoughts. There's a lot for the pokemon to be happy about. Perfect for a dance, right?
