RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Lord Windos - 07-10-2020 I honestly don't have any issues or inclinations towards the Guild itself, other than as a means towards an end to improve our characters and progress the plot, and only time will tell if that changes for the good or ill. Haven't really seen enough of its Master's personality to say if they're a tough but reasonable and good authority figure or if they're just a prick, so I'll reserve judgement for them. For what it's worth the rest of the Guild's staff seem friendly and polite enough, so at least we don't have to worry about them being oppressively difficult (Except possibly Cacturne). If it turns out the whole Guild business is a bad deal in the end, Pyra will be back up Kogeki and support him should he wish to leave, but until then she has no strong reason to leave it herself unless her group does. RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Lord Windos - 07-12-2020 Alright, so far on the Team Name choices, we got 3 for Seekers of Truth AND Ends (Pyra is fine with either), with Kee preferring 'The Omega Seekers' variant name while Kogeki wants Seekers of Truth or 'Seekers of Ends' variant name. Dax wants Seekers of Lost Worlds, while Karen hasn't made a choice but disliked Kee's and Kogekis original ones. Looks like its a choice between Truth or some form of Ending right now, so which one is preferred mates? RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - PhantomUnderYourDesk - 07-12-2020 I'm for 'The Omega Seekers' (without the 'team' in it), which can be abbreviated to 'Team OS' for simplicity's sake. Not TOS as that's 'Terms Of Sale', lolz. I enjoy the reasoning behind it, it has enough of a stylish ring that Kee likes it, and it provides the omega symbol as our logo and distinctive mark (having something easy for regognition is useful to make ourselves a name, and helps building up a reputation!). 'Seekers Of Ends' has basically the same meaning, but hasn't as much of a cool ring to it. Still, 'Seekers Of Truth' is closely followed by that, but if I really have to choose between that and the upper, I'd go for 'The Omega Seekers'. RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Spiritmon - 07-12-2020 Hmm...Well, for me I like the sound of Seekers of Ends, but I do see there is some nice meaning behind Omega Seekers. And I do like the pun word about Terms of Sale XD So, for better end the debate, I up for Omega Seekers. I would like to see the Omega Version of our party though. It would be awesome. A omega symbol with each member types attach to it, with the elements of Dark, Normal, Fire, Psychic, Fairy, Water and Ghost around the omega, and the elements around the Omega Symbol. My, my, now I a more pumped up for that name! I can see that, but not with the Type symbols but rather with the Omega Symbol having the colours of our team's various Types, as in webbing in the colours into an Ω in a circle. Might draw that... Someday. RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - no one - 07-13-2020 Ends of what though Seeker of Ends sounds cool, but it also kinda needs to make thematic sense imo RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Dragonstrike - 07-13-2020 'Ends' can refer to goals or end results in some cases. Really vague and general. RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Lord Windos - 07-13-2020 (07-13-2020, 08:42 AM)no one Wrote: Ends of what though Well, depending on how you look at the word 'Ends' , it's plenty describitive in its own right. Ends - The Ends Justify The Means, End - Goal(s) , Ending, Something A Person Is Working Towards, Conclusions That One Seeks If thematic sense is desired, 'Omega (Final, End) Seekers' or 'Seekers of Endings' sound better, or Ends could be substituted for 'Resolve' or 'Purpose' , though 'Purpose Seekers/Seekers of Purpose' is a bit on the nose in terms of signifying. No he did not, read this post here again: https://pokemonuranium.co/forum/showthread.php?tid=2617&pid=73840#pid73840 Completing the missions has been exhausting enough, Kogeki may have enough energy left to train a bit in your view but not enough to do effective training in GM's view. It's the same in the official Mystery Dungeon Games, you can only visit and traverse one Mystery Dungeon per day, regardless whether it has 5 or 99 floors. If you really want for Kogeki to train efficiently, you could opt to not join our next missions and stay at the Guild to focus on training maybe, as it's been told in an earlier post that some Guild Members do that. On the other hand, field experience = completing missions is best experience. RE: [Meta Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows - Spiritmon - 07-18-2020 Nah I prefer join with you guys for the next mission. Like Delphox said, there is no better way in train but train in action danger. Also thanks Phantom for answer my post. I didn't read Dragonstrike complete post. My Forum page did not show the update in the page. |
