We going to continue that conversation between Nathan, Swiftfire, and Valerie, @Iron?

@Iron : What is a Monty Haul Campaign, mate? I'm relatively new to DND and RP scenes, so some clarification would help!

Monty Haul is when the level of the campaign is extra high and the GM has made a lot of decisions that spike it even higher. Usually meaning you get a ton of really good treasure, way over what is "balanced." Or in a game of D&D, our DM once let us roll up weretiger vampire Goliaths with really high base scores.

Well, I love slowly but surely working my way up to becoming ALL POWERFUL AND MIGHTY in DnD games, I was always of the thought that the core aspects of Tabletop gamming was that it had to be both 'Fun/Exciting' and 'Creative' , so the games I have made have always prioritized those qualities over Realistic Progression, 'Balance' , or being ham fisted with/A rule lawyer with core rules and derivative sources of Info. I wanted to create a fun, darker, and harder (Relatively speaking) side game to your serious, epic, and more even balanced/planned long campaign, and so I made Celadon City Vandels the way it was. Perhaps I'll conduct a more serious campaign in the future, but I always will include some element/items/battles that are certainly exilerationg, or just make sure their never really is a dull moment unless the players want one.

I am not saying there's anything wrong with a Monty Haul game, btw! It allows for fun shenanigans like what Dragonstrike described.

Oh yeah, we've got LOTS of fun shenanigans!
Just so long as the dice aren't laughing at us, that is...

Ah...cheer up, mate! Its not like the dice totally hate your guts and wish for your character's sweet, sweet, demise....most of time anyway. Hehehehe!

@Iron : I edited my order so that the alternate set of commands have the same No of actions as the primary set! Sorry about the goof!

No problem. Looks good now.

Oh my...now he's REALLY gonna hit like a truck...and has the option to kill things...
Don't forget that the move Crits more often, so Razor Claw + Night Slash = 3 Successes for Crits! How lovely....but not for their enemies! As for his STR and Lethality, those are qualities that any good mercenary for hire should have, really! Ventus and Valder: partner in Dubiuous Acts of Justice! Has a certain ring to it, no? Hehehehehe....
Yep, I had it planned. Maybe I can be of some use now. I can always hold back with the lethality thx to the restrain mechanic, so Night Slash is a-ok. I also really considered upgrading dex instead of strength to get even more crits, but then I'd be relying to much on Theo. Dunno if I just made a big mistake.
Anyway, I'm quite worried about your choice, @Iron. Because from what I read in the core book, they both give the "high crit" effect, meaning it probably doesn't stack. But in the games it does, but I guess we're not playing the game. Though I can always hope.
And I'd probably sign up to your DAoJ... especially if that means higher pay check
