RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole: Mount Coronet Mystery - Spiritmon - 07-14-2019 Kogeki could hear the howling crawling in the darkness. He remember what his Kaito said to him before go out of the Village. He decided to take the encounter 2. "Ralts. Return for now. This might be dangerous. Gama. Nagi. With me. Just for precaution, set a Calm Mind. Both to calm your spirit, and to keep good defense." RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole: Mount Coronet Mystery - Mikaruge108 - 07-14-2019 Karen, being the klutz she is, runs right into, quite literally, one of the pillars in the middle of the room. "Owie, I really need to pay attention to where I'm going." she gazes around at her immediate vicinity. RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole: Mount Coronet Mystery - Dragonstrike - 07-14-2019 The first thing that Karen notices about the pillars is that there's pedestals set into them. Each is labeled with braille writing and has an item on it. Bottom: ⠏⠕⠅⠑⠍⠕⠝ A Never-Melt Ice sits on this pedestal Middle: ⠋⠗⠕⠎⠞ An Icy Rock sits on this pedestal Top: ⠑⠞⠑⠗⠝⠁⠇ An Everstone sits on this pedestal RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole: Mount Coronet Mystery - Dragonstrike - 07-14-2019 Randolph has Brigid melt any ice he comes across to make the path less slippery. Eventually, though, such action leads him to a dead end in the maze. Seems like a simple problem to solve. Just turn around, right? ...except when Randolph does, he sees a pokemon standing there, looking a little annoyed that their patch of ice has been melted. The yellow hair, purple face, and red dress give away what pokemon it is immediately. Randolph has come face to face with a rare Jynx. RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole: Mount Coronet Mystery - Dragonstrike - 07-14-2019 Kogeki investigates the dark corner of the room where he can hear something howling. Nagi uses Calm Mind to prepare himself mentally, while Gama attempts to hide with Camouflage. Calm Mind *rolls* +1 Special and Sp. Def for Nagi Camouflage *rolls* Gama became Ice type! (he would have become Rock type on the prior floor) As soon as Kogeki gets close to the source of the howling, it stops. ...and then he can hear growling instead as a shaggy, mean looking Mightyena steps out of the shadows. RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole: Mount Coronet Mystery - Dragonstrike - 07-14-2019 Kee hears the sounds of small creatures moving among the frosty rocks that make up this maze. Thinking about it, though, they're all coming from the same place, weirdly enough... When Kee gets closer to the sounds and investigates, a bunch of Rattata scatter in varying directions, scared off by the approaching intruder. On closer inspection, there seems to be something wedged in the rocks. Maybe the Rattata were trying to get it out? Or were they hiding it? RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole: Mount Coronet Mystery - Lord Windos - 07-14-2019 (07-14-2019, 11:08 AM)Dragonstrike Wrote: (Oh, one of my fav Ice Types! Nice!) To further elaborate on his inevitable meeting with dead end, Ran let's loose a particularly annoyed swear as he stamps his feet at this set back. "Verdammt! All that work and effort getting here, for nothing! Less than nothing, in fact, since NOW I have to retrace my steps and find another way through here! Verdammt noch mal dieses zerklüftete labyrinth!" Translation: Damn this craggy mess of a maze! Upon discovering the somewhat irate Jynx giving him the stink eye, the midget man's opinion of his situation shifted to a more positive bent.....somewhat. 'A Jynx?! By spark, forge, flint and Steel! Thought them frosty lasses weren't native here in Sinnoh , but low and behold, here be one standing before me!' (He wouldn't know that they were native to Snowpoint Temple, for fairly obvious reasons, and Smoochum only Swarm around Lake Acuity rarely, so his surprised is warranted/justified.) ' ....One that looks like they have a Cubone to pick with me, by the testy expression she be giving me. Probably because I've been melting all the ice down here, if I had to guess. *Mental Sigh* Verdammt....this is just my kind of luck, good and bad. Welp, let's see if I can't salvage this 'fore I have to resort to chipping and Capturing them the hard way.' His thoughts on this matter concluded (for now), Ran let's out a small *sigh* , takes off his hat, and gives the cold beauty an apologetic bow. He also recalls Belladona and motions for Brigid to stand behind him, so as not to further provoke them. "Sorry bout melting all the ice 'round here, mam. Just trying to get through this maze to the next floor, without slipping and sliding me way into a rock and breaking something that shouldn't be broke. I'm willing to make amends, though, if ya let me. If your willing to join up with me, I'll buy ya some nice jewelry and some Ice Gems later when I get out of here, right away. A lady of your standing deserves such gifts, and I can afford it, so I promise you'll get what owed to ya. If you need more immediate compensation for your troubles, though, I got a TM for Avalanche I can teach ya right now. Heck, I'll do that for free, to give you proof that my I mean good by my word." He looks back up to her, his stare appropriately contrite. "What do you say, mam? Peace?" RE: [Game Thread] Pokerole: Mount Coronet Mystery - PhantomUnderYourDesk - 07-14-2019 Oh good these rats have escaped by themselves already, meaning that Kee does not have to scare them off. Hooray!~ But just in case, he summones Draven and lets him scatter some nice and poisonous spikes in the direction the ran off as a precautional measure IF they think that ambushing and biting said intruder would be a smart idea. Oh, and just because he also lets the toxic vampire hunt for them if he's up for that, either playfully just for the sake of it or seriously in the intention to grab a fresh snack. "Just make sure that they don't mess with us while we're here. And please remember to collect the spikes again before we move onwards, 'kay? We don't want to.... Accidently. Step. On. Them. Ourselves." (ಠ_ಠ) (Don't ask) Now with that dealt with, muscial guy brings his attention to whatever is wedged within that pile of rocks. Dear heavens, please DON'T be jammed so hard into the rocks that he can't retrive it, just a few minutes ago he explained to Juhani that he's the opposite of physically strong - that'd make him facepalm epically once more. Hummm.... "Could ya lend me a helping hand on this, Octavia? Together we SHOULD be able to set it free. You grab it with your ribbons and on 3, we'll pull it out, alright?" If an Accu Roll is needed for that Helping Hand, it's 3 Dext + 4 Contest + 3 Perform + 2 Singe Action Bonus = 12d6. What Kogeki does notice is there's a whimpering noise coming from the shadows behind Mightyena. Mightyena itself is still growling at Kogeki, but hasn't attacked (yet). |
