How adding Lethal Damage to Non-Lethal Moves works like this: You target either the head, chest, or a specifc region on the body the would cause fatal damage if it was affected, and use the move on that part. Head is a sure fire target, but it has a -4 Accuracy Penalty on top of any Pain or DEX/Evasion buffs the target has, and they always prioritize avoid Head shots over completing their moves. Unless they are already dying, in which case... Lethal Moves get a 2 Damage Die bonus if they target these areas, but some moves like Dracod Meteor can't get that bonus, due to be a rather pin point limited range AoE that a directed attack.

Also, the girl was a random idea of mine that I built on, but maybe I had subconscious inspiration from a certain someone I love...? *Waggles their eyebrows meaningfully at the person in question*

@Dragonstrike : Level 11! Is something that no one , not even myself, wants to evoke. Unless you have a seriously badass plan to survive a day with that Warning Level or get out of town, its practically game over at that point. The National Guard will rain down helicopters and massive firepower on you, like in GTA!

The girl has some serious firepower. Good thing Wigglytuff is out of the fight, eh?

RE: [Meta thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure : Celadon City Vandels - Dragonstrike - 07-26-2017

Draco Meteor on Kingdra is the only one I have currently.  I forgoed Night Slash in favor of Beat Up, which Weavile can only know if it learned it as a Sneasel.  Weavile isn't one of my battlers anyways, so it's not a huge deal (he's there for Embargo, Taunt, Assurance, and Beat Up.  Maybe an Icicle Crash if the situation is favorable for it).  And Arbok can pick up Crunch if he gains 22 exp.

Hmm... So I'd just have to 'accidently' set them on fire with Ninetales' Flamethrower for lethal damage, I believe?

Oh! Now I know where you got the idea for Wanted Level and Free-outta-jail-card-from, too. ^^

Thankfully, that Smeargle is all but shut down now as well. In the binds of a Coiled Arbok, Wide Guard, Round, and Quiver Dance aren't likely to work very well, and it should be a fairly easy target for a skilled Sniper like Kingdra Tongue

Ha ha, no. Don't underestimate your opponents, or they might hit you with a metaphorical Sucker Punch! Especially if they look harmless or ineffectual; the blows just sting even worse! Fortunately, luck was on your side at the tail end of the battle, or otherwise Smeargle would have more than a decent chance to KO Kingdra! Good match in my opinion, but what are your thoughts?

RE: [Meta thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure : Celadon City Vandels - Dragonstrike - 07-26-2017

A little constructive criticism incoming!

Windos, you forgot the extra damage die from Sniper for Kingdra's Water Gun. Should have bee 7 Damage Dice, not 6.  Gotta remember its main effect, after all!

Also, I didn't say it, but you also miscounted Play Rough's damage.  Kingdra would have technically been on 6 HP during that battle.  One GM mistake in the player's favor which has carried through. Wink

The overall encounter was well done.  Just gotta remember a few little things here and there, that's all.  Some of those little details can make a big difference.

Opps. Well, I am human, therefore I ere a lot more than I should! Kingdra would have KO Smeargle regardless of the extra die, but I need to remember it none of the less. Play Rough was just sloppy on my part, so I apologize for that mate. Or should I not, since I gave you an unintentional advantage? Tongue

So far so good today, mate! Ready for the next volley, captain!

Intended for rave party usage, it can be used as a distraction, to blind someone/something suddenly, or to light up a wide open area. Attracts a lot of attention, obviously. Cost: $200 Uses: 3, if retrieved after each use

I'd take the raver's fantasy.
EDIT: Okay, I don't think I'd make a good criminal...

Ah... It seems Persian is one of those 'Mon where the the shiny version is hard to distinguish from the non-shiny version.

Very much so. It annoyed me at first, when I thought bulbapedia didn't have any Shiny Pictures of it to use. Gamefreak, make your Shiny Sprite for each Pokémon distinct!
