Nah. I think that's my homework conspiring with it this time, saying i should get it done sooner :/ Though with Absol having a WAY higher initiative bonus than Nathan, I wasn't really expecting to go first anyways. Absol would have had to roll a 1 for Nathan to have any chance of going first, and that would have only been if he had rolled a 6 on initiative. *shrugs*
I was hoping to have this whole Absol thing resolved by the end of today, but oh well...
At the very least, you can get the post typed up and have it waiting for Iron while you do other important things, like work and the like! I wonder what that Absol has cooked up for you and Kirla, though. I think Iron said it had Night Slash, along with its other base moves, so it has at the very least a way to Lethally wound both you and Kirlia should you two prove unworthy...

With a base moveset like Absol's, the GM can cook up some REALLY nasty disaster countermeasures. Status moves? Taunt. Many enemies? Razor Wind. Powerful move? Detect. Need power? Bite, Slash, Psycho Cut, and Night Slash. Want to spite a later target or peek at the near future? Future Sight. Enemie's faster than you? Sucker Punch, Quick Attack, Me First, and Feint (which also breaks Shield status and has +2 priority instead of +1). Foe's fleeing? Pursuit.
Absol's level up moves are VERY well tuned to its lore.
I'm sure Absol also won't lethally harm Nathan or his pokemon so long as he doesn't harm Absol.

Whoo...this battle is certainly going to make me work for this capture, that's for sure.

Oh yeah, and we can't forget that Absol also has Perish Song as well if you pour enough exp into it. That's a REALLY fun move...can't win? Take 'em down with ya and don't give them a choice in the matter if they can't flee in time!

He's in the Center, with Shiva, who doesn't appreciate being abruptly interrupted in her words. But by the time it takes you to return from the Falls, they should be finished with discussing their plans.
No time to post in Game Thread just now, I'll get to you later then, Windos. Good luck on catching Absol, Dragon!~

Hopefully Lucky Chant works and can help counteract whatever bad luck I might have! If there's any time its effects would be useful, it's against the Disaster Pokemon itself...

Sounds like a good way to work against disaster, indeed. ^^ If Nathan comes back and decides to tell about how Kirlia learned the move thanks to magical fox, she'll have some words of advice to him.

Well people, going to sleep now. See you all tomorrow. Good night!
RE: [Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins - Dragonstrike - 09-06-2017
@Iron
Absol actually took 3 damage from Draining Kiss because Dark is weak to Fairy. Means he misses Night Slash because he's at -2 Pain and Kirlia is still at full HP when the second Draining Kiss is used.
RE: [Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins - Iron - 09-06-2017
There you go. DK still missed but the HP has shifted a lot!
