RE: [Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins - Lord Windos - 09-17-2017
He might be a half insane, but damn if he isn't good at being an empath, and using his Insight to help diffuse/manipulate other people's negative emotions to a better angle (Though he obviously hates to do the later)! Ventus wants a happy, good time, damnit, and he's going to get one if he has to fight tooth and nail to achieve that goal! Everyone, let's keep things civil and calm, and we'll all have a great time!

Man, I already bite all my fingers to see this battle begin.

Patience, there is no need to rush. Though, I hope this battle resolves well, since while Ven did a fine job to bring her away from the trail that she's facing an enemy, it did not change that the whole setting and emotional upriling is doing not much good to her sensibility. Better end it soon, and then reenergize. :/
RE: [Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins - Dragonstrike - 09-17-2017
Well, Nathan's probably not going to be much better afterwards, either. :/
But so far, so good...just need to hang in there for a little bit...

Well, if he's not going to be better afterwards, I trust that it'll help him in the long run. I already know how this reenergizing will look for her and I still have an Encounter for the day left, it'll solve a few things in one go. Though, depending on how things go, you might not see Shiva again this day.
RE: [Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins - Dragonstrike - 09-17-2017
Yeah, Nathan's going to be REALLY burned out from doing this. He was like that last time too, but doing it willingly is just going to amplify the effects. That's why I stuck this at the end of the day, rather than the middle or beginning.
RE: [Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins - PhantomUnderYourDesk - 09-17-2017
Well, it was his desire to battle me and Ven and he set the setting on his own, and Shiva clearly said 'live with the consequences', so there's not much to change about that. *shrugs* I hope he'll get some good rest then for the rest of day, to start fresh when finally heading towards Stair City is it. Whoo!
RE: [Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins - Lord Windos - 09-17-2017
Ventus just hopes that Nathan will use whatever their battle with Shiva and himself to improve his mental state/feelings of discontent, on top of accomplishing whatever he set out to do. He's an empath, and pretty damn good at working with feelings, but he can't exactly help someone that doesn't want his help in the standard way, on top of just distrusting his capabilities. That, and he since he doesn't know what Nate actually WANTS out of the fight, all he can do is just grin and bear it, rather than offer a more.....structured alternative.
Also, that Ini roll looks really good, hehehehe...

Whoo, I didn't expected to see you again today since festival... Anyway, welcome!~ I checked, no Taunt (but it seems like Nathan won't use his Absol in this battle anyway) and for Spread moves...Ven said 'limited', which I'm getting as 'not'?

Esssenitally, they can use Spread Moves, but they can't use them more than once or twice per round, depending on the Pokémon and situation. If Grid ended up the only remaining Pokémon on the field, I would be totally fine with him spamming the move, since he doesn't have partner to back him up at that point and he needs all the advantages he can get! While its a friendly battle, each side is still trying to win, he!
