One of the great things about Pokerole > the games is that a character can have a different specialty other than battling! The games promise that some people befriend Pokemon and others battle with them, but then it doesn't let you do anything other than battle.
Here, we have intrigue, diplomacy, exploring, dungeon diving, Happiness, academic investigation, and battling!

Aww, you're speaking my mind here, Iron... A little away from the designed role of a battle-fond hero in the spotlight like in the Games I desired to go, and enjoy some qualitative time with and raising of my Pokemon in an RPing-styled way - and solve mysteries and learn about my travel companions and everything, where imagination can spread wings and things develope into new ways. (I still love the handheld games, though, for its own reasons.)

Lol, that quickly the battle may swing. It was a good decision to use Charm, since it nicely nullified Porygon-Z's Nasty Plot.

It can quickly swing the other way once error corrections come in lol.
Nathan specifically expected a Charm and thus chose Nasty Plot!

Ah, got to love Extreme Speed telling Turn Order to 'Screw it!', and just take out Grid before he could take cover or Paralyze/Screech Raphael! Mwahahaha!

Priority was my fav in the handhelds. I'm playing Pokemon Vega (rom hack with fakemon) and it's so hard to keep it down to four moves when I want something like Aqua Jet on so many Pokemon.

Oh, 'Pokemon Vega'? I played several Rom Hacks (with Liquid Crystal somewhat being a favorite, quickly followed by the hardcore experience PitchBlack was) already, but never stumbled over something called like this. I might look into it at some point, thanks for the hint.

It's a really good translation of a really good game.

@Iron, you forgot Grid's conditional evade for that first action.
@PhantomUnderYourDesk, that Nasty Plot was actually meant to nullify Charm, not the other way around.

"If Grid gets attacked by Raphael and he hasn't used his first action yet, he'll attempt to evade with his first action instead." Missed this.
