Alright, sorry for mixing this up accidently - but I still like how this combo worked out sucessfully, in either way.

Welp, now my hopes are in suspense now. Oh well, let's see how this goes, then.

Which is why Grid's trying to evade it so he can get off an Electroweb.

Yeah, if Grid gets off an Electroweb, Charm fails. If it also does 2 damage to Plusle, both Nuzzles also fail. Low chance of changing a lot. And more chip damage on Raphael and less damage on Porygon-Z would be very good for Nathan.

Lol, that Evading failed.

Rats. :/
RE: [Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins - Iron - 09-20-2017
It was pretty likely to fail, but it was absolutely worth checking. Could have changed the entire battle!

Considering that the second Extreme Speed would have target them instead of Porygon Z (requiring a re-roll on that, I believe) if Grid didn't faint from the first one, I would say the chance of that happening were minimal. I planned ahead for that possibility, so Grid would have been squashed regardless, if that is any consulation mate.

With how Iron's been handling evasion, Grid could have gotten off one last attack if he was lucky. And the second Extreme Speed also did 0 damage, so Grid would still be standing if that first one had been evaded.
Unfortunately, now Nathan's in a rather precarious position here...

*shrugs* I find it somewhat noteable that although this should be a actually a friendly battle on Nathan's own wish, he's curently internally acting like it's not, making it friendly became the task of Ven and Shiva. And semi-objected because she was overreacting when she found out that the setting was anything else than what she'd accept from a friendly and in-chara enjoyable battle... Oh well. (Or was this the plan the whole time?!)
