You know, I problably not going to have some response about it (since it is problably something personal) but what was the inspiration of you guys PCs? Or Pokemon partners? You dont need to say all inspirations in case if it is something very personal in you guys backstory.
I can guess one: Seddi is by chance inspire by Batman because of how he appear in thin air when people need most? And the heroic code of honor? I just joking by the way Dragon, dont worry.

(the main idea randomly popped in my head when playing a game of yugioh while not having anything to do with it, so be things sometime)
I don't mind sharing some stuff. My PC as well as most of my pokemon choices are based on the island in alola where he originates, which one that is you can probably guess by now lol.
For Ecclesia however you'll have to find out for yourself :>

Interesting. Its been a while since I see gameplay or something related to Alola so I kinda lost in what island of Alola you choose so sorry if I dont guess which one.
Ecclesia sure is a interesting being I pretty sure to find out more. Specially because of what Oz notice.
I will not say much, but Oz kinda is a combination of different things. Oz kinda is pretty much native of Sütalor, but since she's been traveling from different places for a long while, she have a combination of different Pokemons. Some of them connect to nature, so you could say her type of healing is both natural and medicinal.
As for Pokemon choice, I decided to go to a more witch theme. Because medicine was originally used by ancient people and get confused by witchcraft. Honckrow as black raven (a classical symbol of ill omens), Mismagius as a spirit of the underworld (and have the classical hat as a witch) and Hatterene because...well...her name is literally "Witch of the woods" so she was the perfect candidate to be one of Oz Pokemon. No wonder Oz call them "The Coven Trio".
Can't say much of Oz background yet, since its not the time yet, but there is a reason why she have witch Pokemon, and even her name.

I just really really like Zephy. How it's the embodiment of inspiration, its connection to art, how cute and mischivous it looks...
Bernhard originally stems from Mythic Mayhem Reclaimed, is Zephy's partner and is a character Windos made for that scrapped(?) campaign of his. They got carried over at the cost of higher Fortune Score because I asked whether it was possible; since I liked how highly introspective and well-traveled they were - lots of possibilities to roleplay out, lots of stories to tell etc.

Lol. Seddi's almost the opposite of batman given his actually political position and working within the bounds of the law.
His design is actually based off of some other known characters, but I'll leave it at that for now. It might come up later during roleplay, just like a lot of his other backstory details. A lot of fun ideas I had came together to make a rather cohesive character concept for a Paldean.
On a different note, I know what pokemon Ecclesia is OOC since I've been talking with Redstone about the game over Discord (: That is all I am allowed to say for now, however. Redstone has a picture that he can spring on you guys at any moment he chooses to

Imagine my surprise when I see Bernhard with a Mythical Pokemon. I mean, I though a Mega Hatterene was cool but two of my friends got Paradox and a mythical Pokemon? Thats metal. I pretty sure Zephy and Persephone (Oz Mismagius) would get along pretty well since Persephone is a literal chaotic gremmlin. Or not since Zephy found a way to conquer Persephone heart apparently. Guess one way or another we have a chaotic rivalry apparently.

Indeed. I quite curious to see more of Bernhard. He have a pretty mysterious aura around him, and I really want to Oz and Bern have more interactions in the future. They have a few traits in common, and have interesting development I excited to explore.

Well yeah. You have a point. Is just the technique of appear in thin air thats make the Batman reference funny. But indeed Seddi pass more of a good cop guy. But vibes of a heroic person.
Yep. I curious to see more of Seddi antics. Paldean I must confess I dont like the desighs of most Pokemon from there, but they have...interesting ideas? Not a big fan the legendary of Mythicals and Legendaries from there, with the exception of Miraidon and Kuraidon. They just...I dont know they didnt give me vibes of Legendary Majesty you know? That "cool" or powerful aura you know? They are not bad, just, not epic enough for me. Dont hate but not like, they pretty meh to me. But Paldea have interesting scenario, I give it that.

My favorite part about Paldea's legends and myths are that none of them are actually forces of nature/existence. The only one that's even related to anything environmental in Paldea at all is Terapagos. It gives them a much more grounded feel than most Legends. The stories of Ogerpon and the Treasures of Ruin are some of my favorites in the series to date, ngl (Gen 4 still tops them though).
