Huh, that meant she has sucessfully reached the third Round of matchup! Natural sunlight was still way better than taking Vitamin D pills (that she still took every morning), so after having caught her small cherrylike Pokemon nicknamed after a certain family of flowering plants on the back of her hand as soon as the battle has been decided Shiva gave them all - the audience, Tanuki herself, Addams - a very low, thankful and graceful bow while keeping Nightshade up and visibly winking at the crowd. Hah! She has shown that underground dweller what a Grass type can do, fear her magically glowing leafs!


I'd ask for a Roll to chase after that guy in the purple suit from the Shelter, but not this time as Shiva has somethingelse planned after leaving the Tournament Plateau. It's...taking a trip to the Department Store! In full festive clothing, she didn't mind as it was suprisingly comfortable. What does Shiva want at that time of the day there....

The answer could be found at the Almanac's salesfloor:

In an act of almost festive boldness, she placed 400$ and her Almanac onto the counter. "Uhm, hi! I'm sorry that I'm somewhat late, but happy that you're not closed yet! So, I have this Almanac... I've already stopped by and asked for Moduls to update it, and now I'd like to buy both that Games Module and the one the Encyclopedia Scientifica is contained on. Maybe more in the future, but these two will be sufficient for now." (Post where available Upgrades are descirbed) If available, I'd also be happy to buy or receive any poison-resistant lab gloves, please."



Now back to the dorm though, making haste because it's getting late. No time anymore to search for these feral Umbreon and Eevee, maybe tomorrow.

Ventus was working Double Shift, means that Shiva has the whole dorm for herself for quite a while. Neat! One dinner has been served and all her other night routines have been wrapped up, Shiva ends up spending a lazy and comfortable night in bed exploring what that new Games Module of Almanac contains. After all that work at Shelter and excitement in Little Cup it felt wonderful to reenergize a little, and what felt more relaxing than gaming the hours away? That Encyclopedia has been bought because she felt like having all valuable scientific information at hand during journey through Chreshire could be useful and it was definitely more practical to have all info on Almanac than carrying a ton of books from home. Her father would probably not be too pleased if Shiva comes up with a resquest to please send half of her bookshelf to her.

Also: How do Cottonee and Kyuu particularly react to that tiny small Skrelp Shiva brought up towards her party? By keeping that Nymue on her hand and emitting a calm feeling she attempts to show them that this Pokemon was friendly. At least, towards her.

Kirlia just stands there, dumbfounded and angry, as Heart storms off.

...he is  not blindly loyal to Nathan.

Not by a long shot.

He's trying to help Nathan, trying to help him overcome those shortcomings.  Nathan has faults, but Kirlia's is not ignoring them, and they aren't going to be fixed in mere moments like Heart seems to expect them to be.

Nathan's expression has morphed into one of quiet anger, as Heart has apparently insulted Kirlia.

...and then it becomes confused again...something's...different about Kirlia...

...Kirlia marches other to Nathan, sits down, and the two of them watch the rest of Shiva's battle, their enthusiasm killed by Heart's visit...

It's true. There's a giant drawer with racks of different kinds of gloves. For a basic set you can have them for 0$. If you want a set that will give you a bonus on poisony rolls, should something go wrong and it proves necessary, that would be $400.


Kyuu keeps releasing bursts of psychic energy at Nymue. He doesn't seem to realize he's even doing it, and doesn't stop when you reprimand him.
Cottonee is skeptical, but with the loyalties of the two Pokemon the way they are, Cottonee will put up with Skrelp just fine.

Hmmm, that set for 0$ was just fine. As long as Shiva keeps that Skrelp close = away from others who might be not so careful and only touches it with gloves, there shouldn't be a need for more expensive gloves. However, she makes sure to grab several pairs (like, three or four) of the 0$-ones. (Will add them to Inventory)


Her fluffball and poisonous seahorse seemingly...getting along(?)...was enough to make Shiva question whether this was real and no lucid dream or wishful dreaming. Or has she kept Nymue too long on her hands that she was now suffering a poisonous delirium without having realized it? Eh... Nope, reality checks turned out she was right here, this was real. Seems like Cottonee loved and trusted her Master enough to not cause a scene for her having brought up a Poison Type... A young tiny and somewhat adorable one, but still Poison. Skrelp herself in return, must have somewhat understood that this vivid wad of cotton was very dear and close to her mother. This filled Shiva with delight, pride and a feeling like she can get through obstacles if given enough time and support when needed, similar like her fluffball...

As for Kyuu, since comprehensible reprimanding hasn't turned out fruitful, Shiva decided to simply take her psychic kitten away from their new possible-companion to sit on the bed with her instead. She could certainly feel these bursts of psychic energy though, now being close to her Espurr. This caused...mixxed feelings within her.

*carefull stroking over his forehead* "Sooo... How are your headaches doing, dear one? Would you feel like facing a foe in a battle, shall I ask you to do so? I've registered you for a special Tournament but...ehm...accidently missed out to ask you about your health before that, I'm sorry for this. Unfortunately, he's still in a kinda sour mood in the morning.  He ends up walking past Ventus and Shiva during their breakfast in the lobby and heading directly outside with Forthright, the hood of his jacket up, his fedora in his bag.

It's not very subtle, and Kirlia gives Ventus and Shiva a semi-pleading look, trying to ask for their help, before he runs off to join Nathan in the rain.

It's a little bit of a happier atmosphere, standing there in the rain.  Or 'ruster', as the Stair locals call it, for obvious reasons.

Nathan doesn't care though.  It's rather rare that he gets to enjoy a cool rain such as this one, and he's enjoying every second while he can.

He's temporarily packed away the Primal Altaria Down so it doesn't get wet, and is sitting at an outdoor table with Kirlia and Forthright.

Forthright was rather startled during yesterday's battle.  The weather had changed so rapidly...and she had as well.  It wasn't something she'd been expecting, and it completely escaped Nathan's notice at the time.

But after the battle was over, he finally noticed Forthright had changed into her Dusty form:

And then again, into her Sunny form when Nightshade used Sunny Day:

The change had been rapid and startling for the newborn cloud.

And now, today, it was raining, so she was currently in her Rainy form:

Nathan's talking to her about her inherent abilities as a Castform, how she changes shape and type according to the weather, and will eventually be able to change the weather as she pleases to choose which form she takes.

It's a welcome distraction.

No doubt Nathan would notice and be curious/intrigued by his newest brother, and it was a well known fact to the sociologist the boy was FAR more comfortable around Pokémon than his fellow man, save perhaps his mother.....

No doubt Nathan would notice and be curious/intrigued by his newest brother, and it was a well known fact to the sociologist the boy was FAR more comfortable around Pokémon than his fellow man, save perhaps his mother.....

Hmmmm...not sure how gentle an opener a 6' tall, partially grumpy, very much aquatic dragon suddenly appearing is.

Hmmmm.... This night, again no bad dreams from Shiva's side. How lucky, as long as nothing triggers her fear and awokes sleeping monsters, she'll be fine. Or so it seemed.

When Ventus awoke her - Since yesterday, she has stopped setting an alarm clock as he was doing that job spectacularly and was even more relyable than the clock - she turned around in bed and attempted to hug that vivid alarm clock in a hope to persuade him staying in bed for a little longer, but that didn't turned out fruitful - means, she was somewhat forced to get up on that rainy day. Ugh... It's raining... Cottonee disliked this sight out of the window either and seeked comfort by cuddling up closer to her Master.

Normally, Shiva would be all up to stay inside and do a ton of other stuff at that rain, but that feeling rather soon made room for a joyful realization that the Pokepsychologist will come to the Shelter today! Wheeee! Shiva's been looking forward to catch a glimpse at a person following such an occupation, wonder how they will be able to help the Shelter? Maybe...maybe she will also get the chance to speak to that person about how her Azurill has changed from sad to overly happy, asking for advice on how to care for her own Pokemon even better? ...With that thought, the day quickly brightened up in her mind, so after morning routine Shiva ended heading down to the Lobby. Ventus said that they'll have breakfast there today - well, as long as there's qualitative coffee she was fine with that.


Oh, Shiva also noticed Nathan coldheartedly passing them. To be honest, she wasn't very pleased by that, neither did she wanted her very rare good mood in the morning be stained, so she ended up concentrating on pouring more sugar into her mug and slicing more fruit for her Pokemon and herself instead. She did feel a bit left-behind as Ventus left the table to follow Nathan though, but as long as this doesn't happen every morning and everytime she'll cope. Reminding herself on how close she and that oddball of researcher were helped to some degree.

She does desire to hear how Nathan has fulfilled the task she has given him though, but as long as he's occupied with his own things, that'll wait. She's not going to fetch things just for the sake.
