I’m, ah, not sure a chair would do ya too well…
Given the description and the mention of a Japanese tea table and a kotatsu, I believe Windos is referring to a chabudai (short-legged table) here. Pulling up a cushion may suit you better, I think?

Nice, someone knows what I alluded to!

The table is sized to match Kusanagi’s stature, so a regular chair would work for Seddi. A cushion would be the traditionally ‘correct’ option, however.

Aah, gotcha! Yeah, I blinked when you said it covered up Kusanagi's lower half, so that makes sense.

I'm a *wee* bit of a Japanophile Wink I'm planning on studying abroad there in the next few years Big Grin

Honestly, I only half payed attention to the details.  There was a lot to respond to and I've been rather busy at work, so something needed to take the fall amongst all the multitasking.

Fair enough. Good luck with your work - here’s hoping there’s a rest coming your way Smile

Windos - Idea!
Ritual Moves!

In DnD, turning a spell into a ritual involves spending a lot more time on the casting, and often increases the power or chance of the spell succeeding. I think “multi-round” status or special moves might be cool?

E.g.: A Vaporeon finds a moment to take an entire round using Water Veil, which then gets a buff to how much it heals

Or

A Sponee performs Rain Dance for three rounds,  which turns a Rain into Heavy Rain (like Kyogre’s Primordial Sea ability)

To balance it, there would probably be rolls to maintain the move that would increase with difficulty each round, and trigger an additional time when the ‘mon takes damage, for example. Also maybe a punishment if it fails (or succeeds) like the move gets locked for a time?

Hmm...that's really tough choices to make. IC I would say Oz would probably go in encounter 5 since she wants to save lives. But OOC I scary as shit in take that encounter, because I still under the side effects of Kumbaya, I scared this spell DOOM upon my Pokemon since I know how much lethal those lethal encounters are.

That Great Ball, Kudo Koffee Kudos, and the 6th choice looks interesting. I very tempting to take encounter 6th or Great Ball encounter.

However I would be lying if I say I not interested in that Absol encounter. A Pokemon famous for its bad omens and disaster. Honestly, it looks like the type of Pokemon who go along with Oz style of team! However I don't know if that Absol is the sniper pokemon partner. And then again, I still under the side effects of Kumbaya, so diplomatic rolls will have a -2 penalty. Hmm...what to?

*Shrugs* You don't have to be a Hero all the time - if you want to prioritize the loot over doing the 'right' thing , then I ain't going to judge! Plus, playing it say while BFK is going on is the most prudent thing to do, unless you're the 'meet my fate head on' type of player. Still, you do you!

Do note that this list of Encounters is for everyone too - other Players can enter the Boardwalk to take any Encounters you don't, including the scariest one! They'd have to give up their own plans to do so, or you lose out on something you may have wanted, but hey, that's teamwork sometimes!

Right now only Seddi , Vern, and Bern are free to come rushing over to the Boardwalk to get to the Dawn Encounter in time to do something, You and everyone else could wait until the Morning Slot to see if you can still help with it, but who knows how the situation will develop from there....
