Oh, I've been doing that wrong all year. Thanks.

Windos you could tell too there is a cooker in the group (Heart) who would more than happy to make food for him too. Who knows, this might change that Pokemon mind.

Welp, if this doesn't convince the little green snake bird to come along, then its time to brute force this Encounter like I usually do with the others. I would like to befriend it right off the bat, but no way am I leaving without this Pokémon being in the party in some capacity if it doesn't want to come along peacefully!

I'm not sure that a wild Pokémon coming from a rural swamp would even have the concept of a Cooker/Chef, so I decided to leave that tibit out for now. Now Honey and Berries, though....that's a different story!

Hmmm...if Quetzoral (since Iron described it as serpentine, it sounds like it's a quetzoral), I wonder if it'll be particularly attracted to Nathan since he has 10 large jars of honey on his person right now...

I hope so, actually, as that would give Ventus a good reason to re-build relations with you to please his Pokémon....to a point, of course. He's wouldn't be your friend, but he wouldn't constantly think ill of you either, so eh?

Well, considering how Iron handled Aspis and the meat (ie left it to us to decide), I think that solves that little issue, no?
And it just might give Ventus good reason to be just a little more appreciative of Nathan keeping the combee around for this long, too...
That is, if Ventus can convince Nathan to share his honey reserves every so often.

Indeed it does, indeed it does!
Well, he certainly won't begrudge their presence, and he's sorta just decided 'live and let live' with the honey bees by this point, but Vespiqueen is still an issue that needs a bit more delicacy to solve....
Ventus has Poke, and is not afraid to use it!

Whew, this is rather involved to gain the favor of a Pokémon with pure diplomacy, but then again this is a Draconic Pokémon decesendant we are talking about here, so its rather understandable why its so troublesome to convince them to come along.
Dragonstrike, since Ven's coming to meet you, I'll have you handle the initial introductions/reactions, alright?

Already addressed that. Nathan's rather on edge right now due to the circumstances. Up to Ventus to defuse things.
