RE: [Meta thread] Iron's PokeRole Adventure: The Skull Ruins - Lord Windos - 11-30-2017
Question Iron: Does Nathan's Pokedex have a GPS function/map built into it? If so, is it possible for him to just mark down the coordinates of this Pokémon and later on bring Ventus around with Apsis/Breloom around to Status the heck out of it with Burn/Paralyze/Poison/Freeze/Sleep and catch with better Pokeballs like Ultra/Heavy Ball? This Pokémon seems preeeetty stationary for the most part, and while Route 10 does shift around, I don't think it will to the extent that getting to a well defined map point is impossible.

Well, Iron did mention that Ligno are 'slow moving', so they're not completely stationary...

Yeah, it has a very very basic GPS.

On the other hand, that thing has to leave a pretty huge/distinct trail through the swamp (Its how Tandel found it in the first place!), so it could be tracked with time/effort, especially when you had a pretty good idea of the general location you say it last.
Ah, so he can mark this down for later searching! I suspect 10-20 Willpoint score on this tree of cloned life, so it needs to be Fainted and Statused up the wazoo before a high grade Pokeball can even have a chance for dice luck not to screw anyone's capture attempts!

Hmmm...not sure quite yet what he's gonna do with that Ditto if he catches it.
The breeders (Kennels) of Arrowroot Village would be very interested in it, as Iron hinted.

Well lets see what will happen now

He tracked it a short distance by following the goo, aye. It did not leave a path though.

Seaking has such a weird movepool. Megahorn at a stunning 72XP. Waterfall, an HM (pseudo-HM), as a levelup move.

Well, Waterfall wasn't an HM in gen 1. Just the signature move of the Goldeen line at the time.
Megahorn...well, we can blame FR/LG for that one. Kinda got tacked on the end of its level up moves.
