The Championship
#1
So, I've gotten up to the Championship Site and am training up my pokemon to battle in the tournament. Frankly, I don't want to be spoiled on what I'll be battling, so I've not looked up on the wiki what pokemon the other competitors are, but then, I don't know how much more powerful they are. Usually, a difficulty spike will usually be five-ish levels higher than the party, but I don't think I'll be able to go through the tournament with level sixty pokemon.

How high do I need to train and where is the best spot (other than Victory Road, of course) to train?

This game feels ridden with difficulty spikes now that I think about it.

Personally, the best trainering you'll get is just repeatidly rechallenging all the trainer who give you there Cell No's in Tandor. Their team levels scale with your own team's, so its easy to get Exp and Money from them. As for the proper level to challenge the League the first time....I say level 80 is a good bench mark to reach, but lv 70 would also work if your team has great synergy! Second challenge, it would be a good idea to get to lv 80 or above, but that's just my opinion.

Thanks! I'm pretty confident in my team (managed to take out Curie on the third try with my pokemon three levels below her and not EV trained), so I think I'll go for the bare minimum. If that doesn't work, I can always train higher.

Btw, nice avatar.
