so i opened the game up and it asked me what language i wanted and i selected English and when the game started up it was in Chinese....

Have you tried to resest the text option manually in the start menu, or simply restarted the game and choose English instead? If so and those didn't work, uninstall and delete the Uranium Version you downloaded and just re-download the latest version, choose English, and that should work. Might be a good idea to see if you can't find the Bug Report of this error, though, so that the devs can get on correcting it if it isn't a unique isolated case.

tried several times to get the language option to pop back up but it never did... i'll probably just end up selecting all the items in the menu until i find an options page... (if it's there)
