Help Locked out of GTS, sort of...
#1
So... here goes. I've been trying to evolve myself an Anderind but I got frustrated with my unsuccessful attempts at getting my Pufluff's Attack higher than its Speed. So I decided to put my Archilles up for trade for an Anderind, thinking a strong Archilles would be in demand. Well, in my misguided and ignorant attempt at backing up files (ignorant because I did not realize there was an automatic backup included in the new patch, not sure how I missed the "backup" folder) I copied the old backup over the new save file instead of the new save file over the old backup. Same file name, brain fart, not proud of myself.

I went back into GTS with the old backup to see what would happen, clicked "summary" and I got this:

@ReeNormies can probably help you, but you'll probably lose your progress seeing that you've copied your backup over your save...

Yeah the game hates when a different version of the same save has a pokemon deposited in the GTS. The only way I've ever found of fixing it by myself is to go to the save where the poke was deposited and draw him out. In your case this might not be possible but maybe Ree can clear your account's info.

Thank you for the information. Should I contact ReeNormies directly?

I'm not worried about losing that little bit of progress. It was maybe a few evolutions and a few levels.
