Hi everyone!
I'm putting together a team of some of Uranium's most annoying semi-viable pokemon, and I was thinking: is FEAR possible?
(If you don't know what I'm talking about, please watch some of these:

Thank you!)
My thoughts are going towards either the Cottonee build of Substitute and Leech Seed (with Focus Sash and Prankster), or a Sturdy build with Shell Bell and Endeavor, or Pain Split.
This is what I've landed on:
Pokemon: Snopach
Level: 1
Ability: Sturdy (Hidden Ability)
Item: Shell Bell
Moves:
-Endeavor
-Ice Shard
-Hail/Sandstorm
-??? (Currently the other one from move 3)
Thoughts? Suggestions? Hidden Ability Snopachs up for trade? Let me know, please!
Just a lil' Eevee, learning to draw...

I'm guessing that's mostly a joke based off of how much damage it takes? But it doesn't seem like the actual best, given that it's one-use. I'm pretty high on Snopach honestly, I feel like with a decent team to support it (Wish specifically - thank you, Nucleon!) it could pull off at least one KO, possibly more against a non-knowledgeable or unprepared opponent.
I almost have my test case ready. I'll post the results here when I do.

(To the mods: Sorry for post/delete chaos, I'm still trying to figure this all out. Please forgive me.)
Alright! I finally succeeded in breeding this lil' gal:
And decided to try her out in the Virtual Trainer Center's Ranked Battles. She led my party (with my Sticky Web + Quiver Dance Seikamater and my Nucleon as backup), and pulled off a full three KOs including a Flame Body Archilles before said Flame Body took her down. Here were her KOs:
And of course, Nucleon took down two more and Seikamater cleaned up Urayne. Good deal.
I'm going to set up a Wish for next time, which would allow our FEAR user a turn to use a weather move, and then Endeavor is just a bunch of one-shot KOs.
I will say that the Archilles knew Extreme Speed, but the AI decided not to use it for the second move, which allowed me to get the KO. Also, every opponent led with attacking moves, which wouldn't normally happen (especially against a knowledgeable opponent), but the AI is trained to go for the KO regardless of Sturdy, which helped me here a ton. Also, Flame Body being on such a commonly-used pokemon (Archilles, the mega-evolving starter) is a bit of a downer. I'm not sure how to fix that one, other than just hoping they mega-evolve and thus switch to the mega ability, Blaze. So this strategy is, as it has always been, not competitively viable.
It's still funny as heck, though. I laughed when I saw the lvl 100 Archilles and knew it was going down.
Edit, 40 minutes later: Whelp, I can't get Wish on a Prankster pokemon. Darn. I'll have to wait for that perfect Nucleon to try that.
I did, however, take a few more runs against VTs, and on my fifth run I got a full sweep (my opponent only had five pokemon, which is good because I haven't used any PP ups yet)! Very exciting. I think, as a sixth pokemon on a team full of "normal" competitive 'mons, this is a very fun thing for me to have.

For hail setup why not try brave natured slow anderind. its got U-turn and snow warning as an ability, you can give it a lagging tail or an icy rock so no wish is needed if you bring it in last.
Nucleon with its weaknesses to everything aint a great wisher anyway.

Nucleon with its weaknesses to everything aint a great wisher anyway I've found that, yes, Wish doesn't work. (it only heals half the HP, so it doesn't actually give Snopach an extra turn to set up). I unfortunately don't have space on my team for a dedicated hail setter, so the best thing is really just to try and predict a switch or status move? I'm not sure. Either way though, it's plenty effective without Hail, that's just icing on the cake ;P
Lagging Tail is an interesting item, I'll keep that in mind. Thanks!

It is not a joke. It is objectively the best FEAR mon for the final fight, because of Fallout.

I suppose that makes sense, and it is kinda cool. I'm looking for a Trainer v Trainer viable FEAR user, though, which I think is Snopach with a moveset kinda like this:
And a Leech Seed user somewhere on the team, for when your knockout chain gets interrupted by something like Aftermath or a priority move. If you can set up a Leech Seed and get a safe switch or post-feint switch, a Protect lets Snopach heal up to continue the beatdown.
I've been having a lot of fun with it in the VTS, but I've yet to fire up the battle simulator. I'll need to get better at predicting moves to use it there effectively

I have tried out the Wish! It worked... surprisingly well. Yes, I'm aware that Nucleon isn't a great repetitive Wish user, but my particular Nucleon has Wish in the fourth slot as a "whelp, peace out" option when facing Steel types. And honestly, it worked quite well!
I did manage to play a few matches on the simulator, and I do need to improve on reading my opponent's moves. But with both Wish and Leech Seed on a team to re-set-up a disrupted FEAR KO chain, I'm pretty confident that Snopach can provide a real threat
I'm very happy to have found this (mostly) on my own, and very excited to use it going forwards. If I find out anything else, I'll post it here.
Currently running:
-Lvl 1 Snopach (Female for flex)
-0EVs, and I'll get to 0 IVs eventually
-Hidden Ability Sturdy
-Shell Bell
-Moveset: Endeavor, Ice Shard, Hail, Protect
