Hello everyone,

I made an Android Pokédex application for Pokémon Uranium, and called it UraDex.

It is based on the information from the fandom wiki here :

I'm very hesitant about posting it on Google Play.
I know how to do it (it's part of my actual job) but I'm kind of scared of the Nintendo lawyers... what do you think ?

Maybe abstain from posting it publically on Google Play, just to keep Uranium flying under the radar of Nintendo. But those are just my thoughts. Great work though and kudos for creating an own application for Uranium's Dex, that's kind of very cool! d(^v^ )

The thing is : there already is an app called dataDex, that regroups ALL the pokémon of the official games, AND it's not made by Nintendo. It's just made by a fan. And Nintendo does not seem to bother him.

So I was thinking : maybe I have a chance ? After all, it's just a pokédex, not a game. So I could setup an open beta on Google Play and see what happens...

I mean, I'm currently adding links to this forum + the uranium reddit + the wiki into the app, but it's not like I'm linking directly to a download link for the game....

Well, you have a point. Up to you in the end to share it on Google Play or not. Do tell what (if anything) happens if you decide on sharing it, curious!~

Well damn.

I registered on Google Play as a private dev (as opposed to a corporation)
but a private dev needs his app to be tested by 12 people for 2 weeks before it can be released to the public.

I have the link to the test channel, but I need to manually add people to the test group in order for the link to work.

If anybody want to help, please send me the email address associated to your device (you can see it in your Google Play Store app)

Once I've added you to the test group, you will be able to access the app on your device with this link :

PS : the app is still available the usual way, it's just locked out of a Google Play release.
