[Guide] How to always win against Gamma Urayne
#1
So, it's no secret that this fangame is known for having one of the best and worst final boss battles in history. Urayne Gamma is immensely overpowered and if you are unprepared, you might get softlocked at the final battle.

So until the devs can fix that, I have a solution that lets you win against Gamma 100% of the time. All you need is Actan, 5 other pokemon and knowledge of how the AI works.

So, start off the battle like usual with Actan in the front of your party. Switch out. Yes, switch out Actan immediately- Urayne is programmed to use its best coverage moves, so it will try and Overheat you 90% of the time. Switch to something, let Urayne kill it, then switch Actan back in. Urayne will try to use Overheat again, switch out to fodder.

Rinse and repeat this strategy, at least until Urayne has used Proton Beam / Overheat to make it's special attack -6. This isn't enough to KO your Actan anymore, and it will be Intimidated too much to use Atomic Punch, so proceed for the kill with either Actan or your other pokemon. Optional: Stall out Overheat's 5pp for a sure kill with Actan.

And that's how you can get out of soft locking in this stage every single time!

Pretty darn clever there, mate. Its what I did when I killed it with my Dramsama, sort of. Weakened itself by using Overheats and Proton Beams, so I was able to send it out and make it use Transform to slowly erode its HP away. Great minds think alike, eh?

I guess I read this strategy somewhere else already... was it on Reddit? Probably.

Toxic Stall is always a valid tatic, especially if you have a lot of healing items and/or revives! Brillant, my darling~!

Oh, someone beat me to the punch.

Yeah, I beat Urayne with other strategies, but this is for the people who have gotten softlocked into a team that can't beat Urayne normally.

Alternatively, switch back and fourth between a Pahar/Palij/Pajay/Flareon with Flash Fire, and a Giegeroach/Hazma until the Overheat PP runs out, and then stand there and laugh manically as Curie is unable to do ANYTHING because of the Lead Skin ability.

While also using moves like Tackle, Leech Life, Gamma Ray, Haze, your own Fire-Type attacks, Calm Mind, Gyro Ball, Trick Room + Me First, Trick + Flame Orb, Reflect and/or Harden/Iron Defense/Acid Armor for Struggle + Leftovers, False-Swipe, Spite, and/or useless/stat moves like Tail Whip, Defog, Toxic Spikes, Sticky Web, Attract, etc. To add extra insult to injury.

Or alternatively, just enjoy 100% accuracy for Hazma's Expunge attack thanks to the Fallout weather effect.

I think I did something like that to Theo's M-Electruxo once

Used Vaporeon and Jolteon the whole fight until he sent it out, then swapped them out vs its two STABs until they were both back to full health...

You don't even necessarily need to switch out. Just have a high-enough leveled Hazma (~70) hold an Occa Berry, get Overheated, trigger the berry for reduced damage and counter with Toxic, and then heal Hazma until Urayne does less damage, drop a substitute and let Urayne bottom out its Special Attack until it can no longer break the sub. Watch it use up all its PP, outheal the Struggle damage, and win by virtue of recoil. Hazma has the Special Defense to make it work even with a ~15 level gap.
