I downloaded the game before it was taken down, but I didn't start playing until a couple days ago, when I discovered the site itself was down. So grateful for the alternate server and unofficial patches! A couple issues I've had:

- Since I assigned keyboard letters to be my directional keys, I can't use those letters for inputting a name/nickname. It would be nice to have the option to temporarily use these keys for typing letters when appropriate.

- I installed the game on my old computer to give myself the other two starters, and it worked just fine the first time, but then when I started a game in the second slot and got to the first Poké Center, the game would restart whenever I tried to enter the online lobby.

- Then, when I deleted the game from the first slot (old computer), it deleted both games.

- After starting a new game in the first slot (old computer), the same thing happens when I try to enter the online lobby -- it restarts and never lets me in. No problems on my current computer.

Same here about the online lobby. It seems to happen to many people, so it's not only about you and me.
I'm building my competetive team to fight online, so I wish it get fixed soon. It's the biggest motivation to play this game after finishing the main story!

It would be less weird/frustrating if it just didn't work at all, but it worked the first time on my old computer and I never had an issue at all on my current computer. I only had problems with subsequent save files on the older machine (afraid to even try it on my newer one). I'm going to try uninstalling and reinstalling tonight ...

Assigning Text keys for movement is a known issue and was being worked on prior to the unfortunate events which led to a halt of the games official development. From what I understand, a fix is on the way. As far as any online features, please download This file and place it in C:\Program Files (x86)\Pokemon Uranium Team\Pokemon Uranium 1.0\Neoncube and then run Patcher.exe That should fix any issues you're having.

Thanks for the update. I've already done the unofficial patches, though. Before I connected to the unofficial server, it would just say I needed to be connected to the internet for WT/battling/etc., and spit me back into the Poké Center. Now the screen goes black and it restarts. Again, it worked the first time.

You should give a fresh install a try, a file may have been damaged between the first time you tried and now.

Used the Patcher, tried Re-installing, GTS/WT/Mystery Gift works, but not the online lobby.
It just restarts as Kwyjibo says.
Help.....

Yeah, re-installing didn't work (unless I missed some file somewhere ... I got the save files too, though).

Alright, troubleshooting time!

The Internet connection error was caused because you hadn't yet done the update and the game couldn't find what you were trying to connect to. People have also been saying that the game has been running strangely since the update, still working on finding out why.

Prior to updating to the unofficial patch, were you already updated to 1.0.1? If not, that could be your issue. You can find the Official 1.0.1 files in the Official News forum.

I actually encountered similar problem earlier today. When I tried to connect to online service, the game just keep resetting on me. After like half an hour or so, I just restart my laptop and apparently that did it for me. Got back in and everything. But not sure what it was that was the problem, though. And not sure if restarting would help you guys...
