Sounds like that was worth reporting, if you are fully updated - then it can be fixed later.

But for now just go into your saved games folder and find a recent backup.

This bug was fixed ages ago. You are running an ancient version of the game. First update to 1.1 HERE. Now a lot of times that won't get you unstuck if you are already trapped so battle Pokemon in the tall grass until you get KOed and respawn at the pokecenter.

So this isn't a bug, but is desperately needs to be fixed. It is almost impossible to win Nuzlocke mode by starting with Orchynx. Why? Because Orchynx doesn't learn a grass move at level 5.

Allow me to elaborate. If you start off with Orchynx, it knows Scratch and Growl. During the first trainer battle with Theo, he'll battle you with an Eletux that knows Tackle, Tail Whip and Water Gun. Also imporant, it has Static, which paralyses upon contact. With these factors in play, the battle against Theo is unwinnable unless you use a potion at the right time, and even then you still have a chance to lose.

Growl is useless in this battle because Theo can just switch to Water Gun which does the ~ the same damage as unboosted Tackle. You're only shot is to use your own Scratch against it, but since it is a contact move it might trigger paralysis. You need to land about 5-7 Scratches in order to kill Eletux, but you can't activate Static because that will make you slower, may give full paralysis and you'll lose for sure. The odds of not triggering static in this way are .004% at the very best.

So if you so foolishly check the healing in battle clause like I did, you will quickly find out that the first match is unwinnable. You HAVE to have gotten that potion from your desk in order to beat Theo in a nuzlocke run. If you don't you wind up like me with a dead Orchynx that I can somehow still run around with.

Please give it Vine Whip or something in the next update. Even Leech Seed would work to balance out this madness.

I think you just started a campaign: #GiveOrchynxAStartingGrassMove

I certainly would approve of that measure! I had such a hard time knocking out that creature, until I found the Potion in my Home PC and used that Mid-Battle. Even then, it was a pretty close affair, so making it less of a pain to for it to fight against the first Electux encounter would be splendid!

Actually that would be Fireburn, one of the top contributors on Smogon. He did a playthrough of this game with Orchynx and stated the first battle would be night impossible, and I just rechecked his words.

There's something weird about the Ability Magic Bounce.

I was using Mega Sableye against a level 2 Cubbug. When it used Charm and String Shot against me, instead of graphically activating Magic Bounce, it showed Swarm activating on the opponent's side. The status effects were effectively bounced. But my pokemon didn't attack during the turn Charm was bounced. Possibly because I was slower than the Cubbug.

I hope this gets fixed soon. I also salute the devs for all the work they've done.

I've also noticed that Dunsparce couldn't learn Stealth Rock when I tried to teach it with TM76. More of an omission than a bug, but I hope it gets fixed soon too. I want to run Stealth Rock on my Dunseraph! Wink

Fighting a Virtual Trainer, my Archilles Mega got his Archillesite Knocked Off by the opponent's pokemon. The textbox explicitly said the mega stone was Knocked off. I don't know if it was only a text error or also in the damage calculation since the damage taken seemed greater than usual, but I think it might be worth not displaying the text that says the item was removed when the pokemon holds an unremovable item, has the ability Sticky Hold, or no item at all.

Pokemon fainted by Stealth Rock seem to be replaced at the beginning of the next turn, instead of right away. I was fighting the ninja in Tsukinami Village, the one that fights with 5 Dunseraph. For fun, I had my Fafninter set up the Rocks then spam Dragon Tail. When the Dunseraph fainted upon entering the field, they were not replaced immediately and I had to use a random attack that never found a target to end the turn.

EDIT : Is Empirilla's Ability Infuriate really supposed to activate BEFORE it is hit by a physical move?
I was fighting Hiker Larrie on route 2
Turn 1 : His Empirilla uses Close Combat on my Fafninter and lowers its Attack and Defense. My Fafninter had used Dragon Tail  so I moved last. At first I thought that Infuriate activated because of the stat drops from Close Combat (like Defiant).
Turn 2 and 3 : I beat his Gararewl.
Turn 4 : I use Ice Shard to finish his Empirilla. Infuriate activated before the animation and damage calculation. It would make more sense if it activated after the pokemon was hit, rather than before IMO.

So this isn't really so much a bug but if the opponent sends out a Gligar, the sprite of Gligar floats above the ground. Also just a minor thing but shiny Archilles' belly changes colors from orange if seen from the front to white if seen from behind.
