Oh, and before you make any decision, let's not forget the $15000 Dollar Varient to the Protector. I'll say that its quite good, mate! Expensive, but you get what you paid for!

Hmmmm....unless I don't have to pay for it...not with cash, anyways.  If Giovanni were to pull a few strings after hearing about the body armor, I'm fairly certain he'd be interested in a super powered Rhyperior, wouldn't you say?

Expensive investment?  Yes (maybe even going so far as needing to involve the favor).  But it could help greatly with the Malcolms...

There is a reason why I provided it in the first place, mate. Either you can use it to evolve Rhydon into quite nice Varient of Rhyperior, or you keep it for yourself for the Malcolms and Hard/Dangerous Difficulties. They're just as bad as Mew, only they don't pull their punches, one of the cheats likes its scrabbles, the other will straight up multch you, and both are just overwhelming powerful.

Giovanni could easily hook you up with the Body Armor. He'd be extra willing too, since it safeguards one of his most valuable asset even more now. Balm Mushroom (25000) + Light Clay (5000) + Arbok's Sking (2500 X 2 at min) + Those hard trainer fights will provide you more than enough mullah to both meet the quota and finance more stingy purchases like the Heavy Duty Body Armor. You just have to be extra willing to get that dosh, mate!

Alright, I think I've decided on a course of action here.  Gonna go with a Rock Head Rhydon, holding a Wide Lens to help compensate for the lowered accuracy of its attacks along with the dexterity boosting surprise (which is going to be how many points?).  Moves listed the same as before.  Body Armor can be brought up to Giovanni, which I'll probably account for in my next post in the game thread.  Think I'll use it to evolve Rhydon into Rhyperior as well.  I kinda want to see what's so special about this alternative evolution, and just how burly Solid Rock with the Body Armor makes it!

Just + 1 Dex , unless you want to take penalties to other Attributes to crack it up. If you choose to make it as dumb as a sack of rocks ( 0-1 INS), I'm going to start rolling whether it can even understand what you are trying to say, mate!

+1 Dex sounds fine. Already getting +2 from Rock Polish and another +1 accuracy from the Wide lens, so that should cover a good portion of the accuracy issues.

When I thought about how to implement this Heavy Duty Body Armor to Rhydon's evolutionary line, I thought to myself: what would make it objectively better? It came to me: A Steel/Ground type to reduce its 4X weakness to none, and an ability that cranks its Defense up even higher! Say hi to the semi ultimate tank, Rhyxemplar!

That grunt and his hand gestures basically translates to that, but Giant Brute is hard to translate into English properly. Its a very nuanced language, but its just so hard to penetrate into it, you know?
