A note on burn: each success rolled reduces one point of damage, and Burn 1 only does 1 damage per turn. Neither pokemon would take the burn damage in round 1 since they rolled at least 1 success. The thing with Iron needing a 6 in the Mankey encounter was a Luck Die situation.

So, just for a little bit of perspective on how strong Reiner is, he's actually rather comparable to Nathan currently. He has the same Strength, Dex, Vitality, and Insight, 1 more Fight, same Survival, 1 less Knowledge, 1 less Evasion, same Canalize, and 1 more Brawl. Reiner has a little bit more cumulative exp since he has points invested in Intimidate and Stealth, which Nathan has none in (though he does have one point in Allure that Reiner doesn't), and that 4th level of Fight is worth a whopping 30 exp and 10 Empathy (which is worth...278! Wow! Though that was all free, so...). That on top of access to a full team of fully evolved pokemon with fleshed out strategies and movepools (with complementing items) on each really helps to give him that little push that makes him slightly stronger than Nathan. But only slightly. Nathan will be catching up soon enough since the Skull Ruins threads are reopening soon (hopefully)

I didn't! But it did not trigger, so yeah...
Rhyxemplar is down and out, and still is very much on fire, while Mega Arbok is half way fainted and Paralzyed and Kyubi is still quite capable of fixing that instantly. Oh, and Heliolisk too. Yeah, not looking good here...

Actually, Rhyxemplar is on 1 HP. Potion brought him to 9, Dig did 1, Burn did 1, Fire Blast did 6, totaling 8 damage.
Thankfully, Heliolisk is flinched currently, so Arbok has a turn to just wail on it without having to worry about Thunder.

Hmm, I thought It did more damage than that? Urrggh, did I accidentally retype the wrong number in that total (The internet ate my post AGAIN, for the third friggen time, so I had to re-type ALL of that out. I had a back up on Word , but I still had to do it by hand, gesh.) ? I'm going to re-roll its damage, just to be fair on the both of us, ok?

Did the re-roll....and it ended up clubs . That is it, I'm breaking out the holey water for my dice. BRB in a few minutes...
EDIT: Alright, I cleansed my dice, the demons that plague it should be gone. I'm going to re-roll again, and see if you don't get more favorable results...
EDIT 2: You got better results this time! Rhyxemplar only has one HP remaining, but its better than 0!

Should be noted that there's 20 dice in the extinguish check since Rhyxemplar is still conscious and able to actively try and extinguish the fire with Reiner's help (I posted that initial total based on the information in a prior edit where Rhyxemplar was KOed as opposed to the 1 HP he was left on in the last edit of round 2's post). Bah, so many edits to stuff that need to be made...
