[Meta thread] Lord Windos' PokeRole Adventure : Celadon City Vandels
Remember when you said your luck was REALLY bad at times, mate? Well, this is the result I rolled, so enjoy this unexpected encounter while I go get so shut eye. Beware the mushrooms, for they can spell your DOOM! Or get you really high, depending on how things go!

I told you that when it's bad, it's absolutely terrible...*sigh*...welp, time to see how this plays out...

Also for the record, a prerequisite to being a Trial Captain in Alola is being within the age range of 11-19. At 20, the captain retires from the position, and a new captain is picked. 11 is the coming of age minimum thing they do in Alola, being the minimum age for trialgoers. So that's why there's that age range for all the trial captains.

At 24 in this non-canon, that means Mina is no longer a trial captain, which could explain why she ended up in Kanto in the first place...

You forgot Weavile's conditional evasion against Spore, Windos. The odds of it succeeding are low, but any chance is better than none, right?

It still hit, but you almosted dodged it and you rolled really high on the Awakening check, so that counts for something?

Hey, Dragonstrike, remember you have Confusion to rely on if Breloom ends up posing a huge threat to everything you love! The move counts as a trainer actions, so you could totally use it on them to take them down a few pegs! Calm Mind's buffs also distribute amoung the party as well, since they raise your stats! This advice is for free, since I haven't seen you use them yet, and now the time then ever!

I haven't been using them because I'm assuming Reiner isn't fully aware he's also a partial Psychic now. Maybe if I can think of a good way for him to just stumble upon it...but that's pretty hard to do with Calm Mind...

Hmm...well, a panic attack/rush of anger could trigger Confusion on what caused it, while Calm Mind could also be triggered by him trying to regain his cool in a tense situation. Trick...well, perhaps Weavile and Felicia could help him out on that front. Their his personal thieves , after all, so they could nurse that latent potential out of him!

Yeesh...Strength Sap is incredibly strong in Pokerole simply because of the fact that debuffs and buffs don't stack with themselves, so there's minimal diminishing returns...and it's also one of the few healing moves that doesn't require Will to use in base pokerole...good, grief...

Also, don't forget Arbok's Shed Skin (and the awakening check should that fail)! He's not Mega this time, so that could get rid of all that mean status (and net me another $2500) if I'm more fortunate than usual...good grief...
