[Game Update] Pokemon Uranium 1.2
#11
Hey people, I've left Uranium aside for some time, imagine my surprise when I started my game to find out an update had been released the day just before... \o/

Huge props to the dev team.

I'm so hyped that unobtainable egg moves and hazard removal have been implemented to the game, now I need to figure out which mon learns what and how
This means we're gonna have to adapt the comp guides that were already written, yay!
Speaking of the comp scene, @Lord Windos I'll get back to you

Alrighty then, Shade! I'm always happy to hear your input on this! Now that those crucial moves have been added, maybe that will light a fire under the comp scene!....if the online battles are fixed by now, anyway.

Oh no, all the Entry Hazards I carefully scattered everywhere... But it's very nice to see that there's progress in the right direction concerning competitive battling.

So
Drilgann now learns Rapid Spin by levelling up. Don't know which level though.
Splendifowl learns Defog.
The Dermafrost line could already learn Rapid Spin as an egg move, I suppose a Drilgann father can pass it on to the Snopach.
Could anybody check if Eshouten and Pajay can now learn Defog by levelling up? The ones I have in my boxes aren't high levelled enough for the move relearner in Venesi to tell for sure if they can or not. They'd probably learn it by breeding anyway. Same for Dunseraph.
Unymph was listed on the wiki to learn defog via breeding but couldn't actually learn it in game for lack of a father. Needs to be investigated now.
Apparently the S51-A line learns Rapid Spin, don't know how yet.

There must be others that can learn either Rapid Spin or Defog by breeding

Hahaha, I bet you were that kid whose parents cursed at night when they hurt their feet stepping on the Legos you'd always leave scattered across the room

According to the wiki, they learn Rapid Spin at level 42 now.

Which is great, because with Levitate, they're now Uranium's premier hazard removers.

I'll check out the Dunsereph and Pajay myself and see for myself if they got those move. I'm happy that Drilagann and S51-A get the moves, as their typing and abilities make them wonderful Hazard Cleaners. Unymph and its Evolution now have access to priority Defog, which is a bit niche since its pretty fast already, but against other Priority users and Pranksters that could possibly Taunt Defoggers , having one around is rather nice! Having Defog on Dunsereph just increases its utility even more, which is a great thing in my book! This is a truly wonderful update, hehehe!

Nope, I was the kid who scattered crayons all over my desk. ^^

I'm already processing how well Harptera would fare with Defog in its arsenal, god do I love this pokémon.
I can't help thinking of Drilgann as a subpar version of Excadrill, but with terrible speed and mediocre bulk, I wonder if Rapid Spin is going to be enough to make it a more popular pick... I'd still definitely try it
You said it, S51-A seems to be your go-to Rapid Spinner now, with good defensive typing, access to Recover, and Immunity to Ground

Dunsereph doesn't get Defog in their Level up pool, so something else must be able to breed it into their line. My Pajay was too low level for me to confirm if it gets it in their Learnpool. Bummer...
