Also have a mechanic I need to unveil, in regards to Nuclear Pokémon and their moves. Arial already got a taste of it, but let me go into detail here.

Each Nuclear type move has a hidden negative modifier called Rads, and this represents the potential amount of radiation is emitted by each Nuclear move. Each direct hit by a Nuclear type move adds a certain percentage of Rads , which varies for each move (I'll list them after I get done with this paragraph). If a Pokémon gets above 50% , they become Radiation Poison, which adds 5% Rads each turn on the target, they start glowing a tiny bit, and have to roll Vitality - 2/-3/-4 etc. (The checks getting harsher for every 10% more Rads after 50%)to determine if they suffer 1 Point of Nuclear damage, which adds 5% more Rads as well. Get to 100% with out treatment, and the target becomes Badly Irradiated, which deals 1 Points of Nuclear Damage each round, no saves. If they faint from while Badly Irridiated, any more Nuclear Damage will turn it into a Corrupted Nuclear Pokémon , which immediantly maxes out the Pokémon's disobedience and grants it at minimum 2 Nuclear moves, 3 if they where an especially powerful creature, and either changes its primary type to Nuclear (If its Dual Type), or becomes it primary type (If it was Mono-type). They also emit a passive 5% Rads per Round to its immediant environment, which seems small, but when you have a HORDE of them, it adds up FAST. The land can become Irradiated itself if it reaches 300% Rads, which basically makes it a death zone to all but Nuclear, Ghost, and Steel Pokémon Pokémon. Steel, Ghost, and of course Nuclear Pokémon can't gain Rads period, Dragons, Rock, Ground and Bug only gain them at half the rate, while Dark, Poison, Fight, and Normal types gain them at double the rate. All other types are normally affected. Iodide Tablets get rid of around 25% Rads per tablet, while Alcohol gets rid of 12%, Full Heals do jack squat except stop natural Rad accumulation, and trip to the Pokémon Center to git rid of it all. In short, if you are not careful with Nuclear move, things can go terribly wrong FAST. A trained, fully obedient and happy Nuc mon can reduce the amount of rads in their attacks to 5% minimum, but they can never fully get rid of them.

Rad Rates for Nuclear Moves:

Nuclear Waste: 50% Rads; Radiation Poisoning and Badly Poisoned at the same time. How lovely.
Nuclear Slash: 20%
Gamma Ray: 10%
Half Life: 15% , scales down for each subsequent attack
Radio Acid: 20%
Proton Beam: 35%
Atomic Punch: 35%
Expunge: Remove 50% Rads
Quatum Leap: 50%
Fissure Burst: 75%
Fallout: 20%, with 5% added per round weather is active (Those with protection/resistence get not of the accumulation)

Leaded clothes and equipment halves Rad damage, while full Rad gear nullifies it entirely, but since both are unlikely to be worn by the common citizen outside of Tandor...

Lucky for Arial that Reiner is willing to take him to the Merchant and save them both a ton of time and trouble. Though he's still rather annoyed at getting kicked in the face.

Just want to point out that the type corruption isn't consistent with what happens in Uranium.  Only the secondary type, if any, gets replaced with Nuclear (N-Arbok is Poison/Nuclear, and its Mega is the same since Dark gets replaced).  Except in N-Actan's case, but it's original type is Dark/Steel and Steel is too resistant to radiation to replace while Dark is one of the super vulnerable types (and it was directly attacked by Gamma Urayne, so special exceptions everywhere!)

Liking the effort put into the new mechanics, though!

I sorta knew that, but I wanted to actually MAKE it consistent just in case one of you guys end up wanting to trigger the apocolyspe or something. Or make more Nucmons for Scientists/Special Buyers. Unlike in the game, if you can get your hands on Rinuk Berries or are EXTREMELY carefully and patient in gaining the trust of their Pokémon, you can actually control the besties with some reliability. You can also just find a Pokémon with 5 Loyalty already, and THEN transform it to make a Loyal Corrupt Nuclear Pokemon, though doing it against their Will is not going to earn any favors regardless...

Also, Nucleon is now possible for either one of you to obtain, if you wish! All you have to do to evolve it is expose it to at least 50% Rads and Level up a speciality or Attribute, so it pretty easy honestly. Has a base HP of 4 and comes with Atomozate, which is already broken enough that it doesn't need an upgrade! It adds Rads to its converted Normal type attacks, though, so you could say that it gets a Penalty to it in this game.

Yeah, the only pure nuclear types are the 'natural' ones (minus Geigeroach).  Aside from them, the only nucmon with a primary Nuclear type is Nuclear Actan, which is, again, a very, very special exception.  The secondary type being replaced for 99% of corrupted nucmons is plenty consistent already, I feel.  (though an interesting quirk to note with that is that the only possible Flying/Nuclear types with that rule are the Noibat line and Tornadus.  All other Flying types have it as a secondary type.  Yeesh...)

Then the Nuclear type surplants the secondary type of any Dual type Pokémon in most cases, since that is more faithful to the Uranium game (And easier for us to remember and reference!). Also, Eevees can be bought/purchased from the Rocket Casino for 9999 Coins, can be gotten exchanged for a Favor, or by requesting to challenge someone with an Eevee and steal IT. Reiner and Arial know this already, given who they work for and the species' rarity, FYI.

Team Rocket, making all da money off of those Eevee instead of Porygon yo.  (which is weirdly off canon...though Eevee was a prize from the Celadon Game Corner in HGSS and GS, but not Crystal)

Ya know, I find it a little surprising that it took until BW2 for Eevee to finally be catchable in the wild (discounting DPPt since you needed the National Dex to have that chance in the first place)

Let say it with me: this is campaign is not necessarily very faithful to cannon at times. I mean, Supreme Drug Use Erika and guns of mass devestation! Not to mention Nuclear Pokémon! Oh, and amoral (-ish, with some) Legendaries that are manipulating or completely ignoring/ploting against humanity. Not a peachy keen world like the games, and that is saying something given how terrorist groups spring up like daisies there!
