Virtual Trainer's Card still zero battles

I've fought far more than 10 battles but my card still shows zero when I use check virtual trainer.
I have searched for another trainer by ID and seen that their card had stats.

I was wondering if this was normal, a bug, or something else?

I did change my virtual trainer a while back but have fought far more than 10 battles since then.

I could be wrong, but the number of battles is ones where AI uses your team against other people...
