Well, maybe not you Phantom, I have seen you online from time to time
Quote:Ok people I'm finally done completing the movepools!
-All TMs and Tutor moves have been added to the mons' pages.
-Have a look at the first evolutionary stage of the line for egg moves, as evolved pokemon may have some unlisted egg moves. (I'll harmonize the lists of egg moves between evo stages some time, but not now.)
-Moves that can only be learnt by prior evo stages aren't systematically listed on the evolved mons' pages. Some day I'll look for these moves but that's not what I'm doing next.
In the meantime, if you do notice some that can only be learnt by prior evos and that aren't listed on the final evo's page (usually they'll be levelup moves, as members of the same evo line tend to learn the same TMs and Tutor moves) ping me @shademonkey and I'll add them. Even if you're able to add them yourself, ping me all the same, I'd like to know
On a side note, when the sim is fully operational and the competitive scene finally takes off I'll expect you to show up from time to time in UCC to take part in the writing of competitive guides, Windos If I remember correctly that's what you were most interested in, right?
I dislike Discord because utilizing it is like trying to hold fine sand with wire mesh: everything on their slips by me so fast, and it takes ages for me to pick up stuff manually. Archival and easy searching of information on Live Chats is non-existent, so far as I can tell, and its hard for me to keep up or not get derailed when every and anyone is posting in the chat at a given time. Its also extremely distracting, as I tend to focus on chats above all else, which impairs my ability to read in my free time/watch videos, since I'm reasonably afraid I'll miss something in the chat feed. On the Forums, all things are neatly preserved so I can go looking for stuff anytime I want, and the built in/inherent delay in posts hear lets me catch up/keep up with chats.
In short, Discord is simply too energetic for me to keep track of anything, and I have such a aversion to it that I avoid using it whenever possible. Its a preferential choice, but its mine in the end.
Onto other news, I'm delighted you made great strides in getting the Wiki all up to date on things! The community and players all around the world (well, the ones that can understand English or have the idea of using a Translator to understand it if they don't) certainly will appreciate all that hard work, and I am DEFINATELY thankful!
Of course I'll participate! I already want to make more Guides, but its hard to muster the will to do so when you think that nobody gives a damn about them. When comp is fully active and functional, I'll be forced to divide my time here, College, and the Forums, which will be....hectic, to say the least. Still, I want to make some impact on the community besides being a VIP hear on the Forums due to my sheer legacy, so I'll willing to take on that burden.

Interesting that you say this. You seem to know far more than I do-which on my end is basically nothing at all. I had heard about a sim of some sort. Maybe the release box you spoke of was the update item for discussion-or part of it anyway. I have no way of knowing. Sorry to be vague LordWindos. I think you know about my past heavy involvement with the League. You might have even been one of our Gym Leader candidates at some point. So you might then be able to conclude that I have better things to do that worry about timelines. I just wanted to know. And I figure if I heard something that others might have as well. I don't generally put stock in things without verifiable proof if proof is deemed necessary. Such was my reason for my original query in the first place. In the old days, the forum was the best place to find out current information. Lately however, I agree the forum has been bypassed for Discord.
I feel that Discord is sometimes too fast paced for me. I like hands on posting sometimes better. I maintain a presence there because of my former involvement with the League, as well as other reasons.
Shademonkey is resourceful/connected like that!
No need to apologize for that, mate. I was more so shooting the Dev Team for their radio silence/theoretical willingness to punish leakers than you the messenger.
Yeap, and I was indeed a candidate, but my interest in the role diminished between IRL and continuing my College studies. That, and breeding a whole team for my Petting Zoo Gym Theme would have been unfeasible at the time (Though not now given all the fine Pokémon I've amassed for breeding). Not sure whether or not the Tandor Casual League is still active or not, but if it is I doubt that I will have the passion or time to dedicate towards its cause at this point in my life. Sorry for saying that, mate, but I just want to be upfront with you.
I'm in total agreement with your opinion on Discord, and I'm glad that I'm not the only one that feels that way! My presence on Discord is non-existent, except in very Rare cases like the Forum going on the fritz for awhile, or someone summons me there.
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.

The Release Box feature has double-confirmation and warns you if there are any shinies in the box. Pretty clever.

Oi, are we joining a club of 'Discord is too fast-paced and energetic for me'? I gladly sign in because that's so true, it quickly becomes either a tad bit too messy or overwhelming for me when many people are typing and chatting, on a Forum one also has a bit more time to properly type and reply. Holding a good real time discussion without distraction can be hard to near impossible depending on how big the server is/how many members there are and what time of the day you're there.
On the other side it has it's positive sides that cannot be diminished - For updates or announcements, it's practically the place where you get them fresh from the oven, at least in the case of Pokemon FanGames. You also get to discuss or share thoughts and ideas with more or less like-minded people (if that's the desire, at last), some servers are oddly specific.

I'm relatively quiet and lurk more than I speak, but you'd only have to mention Eevees or Eeveelutions and I perk up. ^^ The Breeder's Discord has somewhat messed with me once too often though, concerning Uranium I'll stick with your server and the Creator's Collective preferably.
Oh, and you derserve so much praise for having edited the Move Pages on the Wiki, they're so shiny to look at now! Thank you!!! Me feels some things concerning available/bredable egg moves on a Pokemon's Page are still missing, but I can't tell out of the blue which one's exactly and it actually doesn't matter too much as by checking the move itself one can find out how to possibly get it on the hatchling. Great work!

Could be some good Pokeradar stuff in the next patch, if all goes well.

I feel like I want to further this line of inquiry, but to do so would be to give away the surprise-whatever it is.
I guess my question would be: what is the pokeradar supposed to do that it doesn't already do?
We have a way to find shinys,
we have a way to find exclusive encounters
we have a way to find HA's.
What else do we need it for that I'm not thinking of that we don't already have? Or is it just a way to improve the efficiency of what we already have?
Here's some wishful thinking anyway...
A whole extra new pokedex of hidden Kanto pokemon would be funny.. that can't be encountered in the wild under normal means. And that would be quest-able only with the pokeradar and specific items or something. Like if I went to Baykal Forest while it was raining and had a duplicat that held a Magnet, using the pokeradar I could encounter a Kanto pikachu or something. lol. Or if I went to the Victory Road Volcano under similar circumstances and items, I could encounter a Gengar instead of an Antarki. . With a 5% rate of it holding a megastone too...
Or it could be like one great pokemon scavenger hunt where the devs just scatter random region pokemon all throughout Tandor. And then the devs dont tell us where exactly they scattered them too in the grassy areas, and we have to search them all to find what ones they added and where.
But I know that the devs are not planning to expand the current pokedex. rats.
Sincerely,
Key

Hi, all! I noticed this thread, and wanted to drop by to help confirm some of these "speculations"...
So first of all... yes, there is a new update coming Soon ™, which will include some tweaks to PokeRadar (as Iron mentioned a couple of posts ago) to improve functionality, as well as the "release all" feature teased on Discord...
"Release All" in action... note the double-confirmation that defaults to "no", plus the additional check if you have shinies in the box:
Like any other release, this can be reverted by resetting to your last save -- so don't worry, no shinies were actually harmed in the creation of this GIF.
Beyond that, this next update will focus mostly on bugfixes, including squashing a few map-related bugs that popped up in the last update.
Having said that... I do want to address what people are clamoring for the most: namely, the post-game story updates. I know everyone has been looking forward to Angelure, the Sea Trio (here's looking at you, Phantom!), Aotius/Mutios, etc. The main focus the past few months has been trying to stabilize what we have as much as possible, plus having lost a few team members last year slowed progress down a bit; having said that, I can confirm that we have a new writing team in place and we're currently working on plotting out the post-game story. I'm not at liberty to reveal any details just yet, but rest assured that forward progress is being made. You just might have to wait a little while longer for it.
Most information does tend to get shared on Discord since it allows more immediate feedback from the community. I know I personally hang out there more than here lately because I enjoy interacting with people in real-time (plus I'm moderating servers on there now, which takes up a good deal of my focus). Having said that, I do understand that most people prefer the more laid-back pace of the forums, so... I will make a conscious effort to check in here more often and pass along any relevant information as I can.

Baileeeeyyy!~ How neat to see you stopping by here once again! *instantly tacklehugs*
Huh, so the 'Release a Box' Feature is becoming real...? That sounds like quite a fine feature that'll make the life of Uranium's Breeder's much easier. Appreciated! Same with your effort in sharing any valuable info here on the board when it pops up on Discord. I'd be happy to help, but only slected people are able to make threads within this sector, so that's not possible.
O...Oh, I had no idea that some of the Writers of the Game have quitted. Thanks for telling, and it's good to see that new ones took the place! Though it once again wonders me why it all happened in such a hush hush operation behind the curtain as it's something that sounds valuable to share in order to raise awareness and get new team members quickly. Anyway, I'm fine with waiting as long as possible for new content as bugfixes take priority over content, so do take your time without letting go of the project, happy coding and writing!

Thanks for confirming some of this speculation and divulging more info, Bailey! Really appreciate it! While I rather have more content to sink my teeth into (Plot , Item, or Mechanically Related to Pokémon wise), I say that making sure the game is more stable than its nameshake is a better place to prioritize development than not!
