I'm honestly not a big fan of Pokerole's version of Final Gambit since it's the complete opposite of the games' version, but I will leave FG the way it is for now because it was designed with the Pokerole system in mind.
I don't want to roll huge amounts of dice, though, so expect a limit to be imposed if it's used on a pokemon with a huge amount of HP remaining.
Yeap, and that's what makes it so nice! Sure, you still have to roll the Fixed Damage, but hey, it still ignores that pesky Defense and most forms of Plot Armor, since it specifically lists the Target's HP as part of the Damage Calculation and Final Damage!
Consider that the alternative Final Gambit would be a grossly inferior version of Water Spout/Eruption that kills you like Explosion unless you use it at the start of the Round ASAP (Which would make it more of a Fatal First Gambit than Final....), I'm glad that the writers changed how it worked! Neo Final Gambit is an awesome thing, imo! If you wanted to make Final Gambit work closer to the Game's version, you'd have to set it up like a Reverse Flail Move, but give it a modest enough Base Damage so that it still has a chance to do some notable damage at the very least. Either that, or try to make it like a % Dragon Rage, or something similar.....
Or you could just use a combo of DnD Dice that equals the Target's HP, or use an Online Dice Roller that can roll more than 10 Dice at once. The later is how I calculated the Final Gambit Damage Insectspector inflicted against Necrozma, which greatly speed things up for me!

I honestly don't want to roll 336 D6. I wouldn't do something like that at a real table, so I really don't feel inclined to do so at a digital one.
Maybe later in the game, when you guys are stronger, I'll roll more dice, though.

Wow. Miss Fortune certainly fancies herself an artistic doggie this Round, eh Dragonstrike? Either that, or Goddess Amy Nesia is on their brain so much they shan't think of anything else!

Blech, was just barely able to do my 4th of July plans; thunderstorms almost all day yesterday where I live...
At least I caught up on some manga I've been meaning to read.

Yeah just take the average, or use a digital heads/tails flipper.

The slight issue with that is accounting for dual (1) results. Though I suppose for every 12 dice rolled, you'd remove 1 success on average, so such a method could work even if Lucky Chant isn't active, I guess.
Given the nature of Final Gambit's effect, though, there is still the issue of it being a good opening gambit as well, regardless of the interpretation of its effect. Still makes me wonder if I should impose a limitation on it in Plot Deviced battles in particular...

Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune
Pluto is no longer considered a full fledged planet. It is instead classified as a dwarf planet.
