Jirachi doesn't seem to have any particular targets in mind while attacking, or is perhaps unable to focus on a single target due to being asleep, but they seem to definitely be indiscriminate!  All of Jirachi's attacks will have a random target.  1-2 is Rowlet, 3-4 is Daxter, 5-6 is Snom.

The force of Jirachi's Psychic powers sends not only Daxter flying, but also a few of the papers scattered throughout the room!  Even weak attacks coming from this pokemon seem to be incredibly powerful!

Jirachi tosses and turns in its sleep after being assaulted by all the noise and being soaked by a large volume of bubbles, but it still doesn't seem to be enough to wake them up.  "...zzzzzzz...just...5 more minutes...zzzzzzz..."

Seemingly almost in reaction to being attacked, the sleeping Jirachi lazily waves a hand and throws a handful of star shaped projectiles at a random target!

Daxter is swiftly KOed by the Wish pokemon despite their apparent lack of focus.  But before the Charmander is able to fully process that he was KOed, a brilliant light surrounds him, reviving him with half of his maximum HP! 1 Tiny Reviver Seed is consumed and becomes a Plain Seed.

Snom and Rowlet continue to look uncertainly at Daxter for orders after joining him in shouting for Ampharos, uncertain if they can even take an attack from such a powerful opponent after seeing Daxter get completely obliterated in a mere two hits.

Meanwhile, in Ampharos's office...

Mawile's looking at Ampharos with a worried expression.  "You think they'll be okay up there?  Jirachi's hard enough to wake up, even for us."

Ampharos responds with a lighthearted chuckle.  "Oh, I'm sure they'll be fine.  There's three of them after all.  I'm sure they can handle facing one pokemon."

Mawile sighs.  "Numbers haven't exactly helped us much when we've tried to wake him up."

It's around this time that Daxter's call for help echoes through the halls of the Expedition Society, and Ampharos doesn't seem to be particularly concerned about it.

"Ah, there it is.  Well, I daresay we should get moving now, Mawile.  A Dashing Wanderer should never be late, after all!"

"You don't sound particularly concerned."

"Let's just say they remind me a little of our youngest members and their first meeting with Jirachi.  There shouldn't be any need to hurry.  Now then, off we go!"

"If you say so..."

It doesn't take much for Lillipup and Swadloon to be impressed, as they look at the party in relative awe.  Leavanny and Herdier don't seem to be affected quite as much however.

"Well that's good to hear, lass.  Might want to dry your wings off first before heading into town though.  Swanna doesn't like it when customers make a mess of her place after all."

Leavanny chuckles.  "Yes, she does have a bit of a neat freak attitude at times.  I've seen her ask Cincinno to help clean the place more times than I can count!  Anyways, I'm sure you're all very busy if you're traveling with Espeon and Umbreon, but you should definitely look around our humble little town if you have the time.  Welcome to Post Town, from all of us."

"Yes, speaking of which, we really should be on our way now.  The view of the Rainbows of Hope is nice and all, but we're here on a business errand."

"It's always so nice to see all of you though!  And that includes you too, Crustle!~  All of you take care now!"

"Bye!"
"Hope to see you again soon Espeon!"

Crustle just briefly peeks out from behind his claws and gives the group a small wave as they leave the hilltop.

Espeon and Umbreon lead Team OS down some steps and into the town square, where they begin giving the team a brief tour of the place.

"Right then.  Over there, you have your usual Kecleon Shop, no surprises there.  We don't have a Café Connection here, but we have Swanna House, which is the big place with the sign in the shape of a bird pokemon's wings over the door.  The innkeep's been talking with some of the Kangaskhan recently, so she's been offering more services than usual lately.  And next to the inn is another shop you might recognize, Glorious Gold.  Don't mix it up with Foongus's shop, though.  Nobody really knows what Foongus does."

"And over there you have the Box Buster, run by Rampardos!  If you ever need a Treasure Box opened, he's your guy!  Just don't make a big deal of his extremely obvious crush on the local Gift Shop owner, Cincinno.  If you ever need the perfect gift for someone, Cincinno's your gal!~  Such a warm and friendly pokemon.  It's not hard to see why Rampardos likes her.~"

"We have a little time left in the day before we need to go to Paradise, so if you guys want to look around a bit and get familiar with the local services, feel free.  Espeon and I can wait for you at the entrance to town, which is on the eastern end."

A Ducklett and a Ruflett can be seen conversing in the middle of the town square.  A trio of Pansage, Panpour, and Pansear can be seen monkeying around on the bridge above.  A Mienfoo is posing at another corner of the square, seemingly trying to show a Roggenrola how to use a certain attack, but the Rock pokemon is staring(?) at the Fighting type in confusion.  A flock of Pelipper flies overhead, and one of them dips down to deliver some mail to some of the residents of Post Town before rejoining their flock.

Two Timburr walk by carrying planks of wood, and they stop when they notice Espeon and Umbreon.  "Hey, Espeon!  Umbreon!  You're back!"

"Indeed we are!~  How's Paradise been doing while we were away?"

"Fine enough, though we haven't seen Haxorus for awhile."

Umbreon and Espeon seem to be very puzzled by that.

"Any idea where he went?"

"No idea.  We're just the carpenters though, so we don't exactly hear much."

"Fair enough I suppose.  We'll check in with the others when we return to Paradise then.  Thanks for the update!~"

"No problem, Espeon!"

The two Timburr continue towards Swanna House, their lumber loads slung over their shoulders.  The sounds of the many waterfalls lends itself quite well to the town's soothing atmosphere as the residents go about their normal days.

So, where to from here?  Look around Post Town, or head straight to Paradise?

Everything in Post Town - from the familiar Kecleon Shop!! ("Are all Kecleon runnin' these shops as one big family or do they all do their own bus'ness??" Wonder if tha Kecleon here know 'our' Kecleon brothers??" ) over the mention of TReAsuRe b0Xes1! being opened by love-striken Rampardos ("That must mean the Mystery Dungeon 'round here must have loot 'n treasure waiting t'be found, yasssss!") to the sugary-sweet learning of a gift shop!1 being present around here ("With a dear lady of a Cincinno runnin' tha shop?~Wohoo~~!") - strikes Ziggy Kee's curiosity, but what does BY FAR catch his interest THE MOST are Umbreon's words of 'we need to go to Paradise'. Said interest only increases as Espeon later on tells about returning to Paradise!

He has a hard time to not staaaare at the two while his tail waggs in eager and his smile becomes as wide as ever. "Are ya two saying you're coming from...paradise? Like, I didn't mishear ya, did I? Is said paradise your base of 'peration, your home? If I may, I'd LOVE to see what sort of place dat is that d'serves to be called such a heavenly name!~" ...*cough* Can still look 'round town a bit later when it'll be time t'grab dinner or once I've got some precious loot t'be stored into Kanga's safe hands... *more tail wagging* And to buy gifts from only the sweetest of Cincinnos 'f course, ahaha!~"

Kogeki like this change of scenario. The usual sand from the sand continent is sometimes lame, but this town is pretty cool. "Huh. It is indeed a nice place. I do think we could take a look around the town and see what kind of wonders might have here. We also could eat something perhaps before we go forward. A little rest would be good."

Ziggy Kee is quick to intervene with "Kogeki, eagerly jumping up and down on the spot as he does so. "B....But... But I'm nat tired 't all, nor hungry yet I don't feel like resting! \(>o<\ ) I'd rather check out that paradise an' plan on what t'do next please... 'Fter all, we came here in tha name of Delphox's Guild on an important mission..."

"Hmm....Yeah, you do have a point. We need to take of Delphox mission and follow our path. But I still take a look around the town. Seems interesting to check around the place."

"If you can't decide, why not just visit the Swanna House before we head to Paradise?"

"Oh yeah, that reminds me.  One of our teammates should be there.  Maybe we should check up on him, see if he knows what Haxorus might be up to."

"That's not a bad idea, now that you mention it Umbreon...how about it, Omega Seekers?  He's a bit...odd, but I definitely think you should meet this pokemon at some point.  I bet he'll have a lot to talk about with you.~"

Ohh, Kee's definitely up for for that; he nods and smiles eagerly. "The more of an oddball yar teammate is, tha better!~ Curious t'meet 'em, cURi0uS1!!~"

Alright then!  In that case...

Team OS, Espeon, and Umbreon head to the Swanna House, chatting amongst themselves along the way.  A bell rings as the group enters the building, and a few things stand out as everyone looks around the room.  Behind the counter at the back of the room, a Swanna is watching over the establishment.  She's talking with a Gurdurr and the two Timburr from earlier while a Hydreigon is 'seated' at one of the tables spaced around the room, noisily chowing down on three plates of food simultaneously.

Swanna stretches her neck slightly and looks over the carpenters when she hears the doorbell ring.  "Ah, customers!  Welcome to the Swanna House, everybody!  Feel free to find a table.  I'll be with you all in a moment.  Now then, about expanding the rooms on the second floor, master Gurdurr..."  Gurdurr and the two Timburr turn to glance at the group, then return to conversing with Swanna.

Espeon and Umbreon head straight to the Hydreigon's table and have a seat without even batting an eye, though the three headed dragon doesn't even pause in his consumption of the food in front of him.

"There you are Hydreigon!  We're back!~"

Umbreon circles around the table and pokes the dragon, no sign of hesitation despite the pokemon looking incredibly strong.  "Hey, ya here that, big guy?  We're back.  And we have company.  Least you could do is acknowledge them."

Upon hearing the two eeveelutions' remarks, Hydreigon abruptly stops and turns its heads to look at them both simultaneously.  There's a moment where he looks quite annoyed that his meal has been interrupted, but all three heads have gigantic smiles plastered on their faces as soon as they see who's speaking to them.  "Oh, it's you two!  Welcome back!  I trust everything went well on the Sand Continent?"

"I guess you could say they did.  Guildmaster Delphox had some work for everyone she summoned.  Seems she called for help from every continent."

"And are you even listening to me?  We have company.  We've been assigned to assist one of the guild's teams with investigating some stuff.  Weird storms and whatnot.  So go on, introduce yourself already."

Hydreigon's three heads all turn to look at the three members of Team OS after that.  They seem to almost stare into everyone's souls for a moment as the dragon says nothing, just staaaaaaarrrrrrres at them...

The silence is broken once Hydreigon's heads start laughing.

"Ahahahahahaha!  Hahahahahahahaha!"

Umbreon tilts his head as he gives Hydreigon a confused look.  "What's so funny?"

"Humans!  Ahahaha!  You've brought humans!  Ahaha...aha...ha...whew...of all the things I thought you'd find there, I did not expect you to find humans..."

Espeon looks at Umbreon and smiles.  "See?  You were right!  If Hydreigon says they're human, they must be!  And you were having doubts.~"

"Yeah, yeah, whatever..."

"Well, I do believe I should introduce myself to our future heroes!  I am Hydreigon, emissary of the Voice of Life and gourmet of this fine establishment's cuisine!  Honestly, I can eat Swanna's cooking all day!  It's that good.  So, what brings two humans and their companion to our corner of the Mist Continent?  The food?  Because trust me, it's to die for."

"That's a bit morbid coming from you, Hydreigon."

"Ahahaha!  Yes, I suppose it is, isn't it?"

Hydreigon's outburst seems to have caught Swanna, Gudurr, and the Timburrs' attention, as they're all looking at the group assembled at Hydreigon's table now.  They're all remaining at Swanna's counter for the time being though.  Hydreigon, Espeon, and Umbreon seem to be unfazed by the attention.

Daxter is sent flying with the power of Jirachi's Swift with a horrified "Waaaaaa!!!" as he's knocked out from the force of smashing into the ground. The flash of light that renergises him causes him to stand up with an "Eep" of surprise. He looks around him and quickly grows angry once he sees the useless seed on the ground. "Hey! I was saving that! What the fuck?"

He looks at Rowlet and Snom warily as he tries shaking off the Pain from the force of the attacks. "This thing packs a punch. I think we can break 'em down though. Same thing again! Maybe you can flinch it this time, Rowlet. Wodir knows I don't wanna take another sodding hit. Where the bloody hell is Ampharos..?"
