[Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows
Keldeo and Emolga both prepare to attack, bracing themselves for battle.  Having been here before, they're both well aware of how dangerous the wild pokemon can be...

"Right.  The Chandelure that live here are particularly dangerous foes.  It's best if we take that out first."

"One unconscious chandelier, coming right up!  It isn't going to know what hit it!"

Glacial Group Round 0

Everyone waits for the perfect moment, and then strike on Platina's signal!

Bubble Beam on Chandelure
4 Dex + 2 Fight + 2 Channel + 2 Single Action = 10d6
(5)(3)(4)(4)(4)(5)(3)(6)(2)(1) Critical Hit!
4 Special + 3 Pow + STAB - 3 Sp Def + SE | + 2 Crit = 5d6 + 1 damage | + 2d6

(6)(4)(3)(3)(6)|(5)(1) Chandelure takes 4 damage and faints!

The tag team combo of Keldeo and Emolga completely devastates Chandelure.  It doesn't even have a chance to turn around before Emolga's whacked it in the back with an impressive feat of agility.

The remaining wild pokemon turn around immediately, but the rest of the party has already begun their attack, their attention now squarely focused on Mienfoo.

Peck on Mienfoo
(5)(3)(4)(2)(3)(4)(4)(4)(1) Critical Hit!
(2)(1)(2)|(5)(1) Mienfoo takes 2 damage! 3/5 HP -1 Pain

Shadow Punch on Mienfoo
(5)(1)(1)(2)(3)(2)(1)(5)
(2)(2)(1)

Mienfoo takes a heavy blow from Platina, but recovers just in time to catch Kogeki's clumsily placed fist, preventing the attack from doing any real damage to the fighter.  They throw the Riolu's fist to the side, then ready themselves for battle.

While it's distracted though, Kee blasts them and the Cubchoo with sound!

Snarl on Mienfoo and Cubchoo
(6)(2)(3)(3)(6)(2)(1)
(4)(4)(3)
Mienfoo takes 1 damage! 2/5 HP -2 Pain
Cubchoo takes 2 damage! 3/5 HP -1 Pain

Hail continues to fall.

"A-alright.  I'll t-try my best."

"Affirmative.  Protecting Snom."

"Yup, I definitely know Dig.  Kinda my specialty.  I do have another idea though.  I'll give these Voltorb the ol' one-two."

"Ya know, in hindsight, I don't actually know very many moves that are good against Electric types...ooh, but I do know this!"

Voltorb Ambush Round 1

Bunnelby glares at two of the Voltorb, suddenly looking a lot more serious than he did before.

Leer 1 on Voltorb A and B
3 Tough + 2 Contest + 0 Intimidate - 2 Actions = 3d6
(6)(5)(5)
Voltorb A and Bs' Defense are decreased by 1!

"Great idea Bunnelby!  Alright, take this!"

Play Rough 1 on Voltorb A
3 Dex + 2 Fight + 2 Brawl - 2 Actions - 1 Accuracy = 4d6

Grubbin panics, attacking a Voltorb at random.  "They here!  Fight!  We must fight!"

2 Dex + 2 Fight + 1 Brawl + 2 Single Action = 7d6
(6)(4)(1)(2)(3)(2)(1)
2 Str + 2 Pow + STAB - 2 Def + SE = 3d6 + 1 damage
(6)(2)(2) Voltorb C takes 2 damage! 3/5 HP -1 Pain

The first Voltorb, reeling from Dedenne's attack, looks rather angry.  It begins to glow not with the bright light of a regular self destruct, but a dark, ominous aura...

Shadow Boom A 1
But it fails!

...and then the aura promptly fizzles out as the Damp surroundings caused by the rain extinguishes the explosion before it can occur.  The Voltorb suddenly looks very, very tired and very, very scared.

Dedenne is startled briefly by the appearance of that dark aura.  Bunnelby seems to be more focused on the task at hand.

"What the heck was that?!"

"Some kind of explosion, I reckon.  Rain put it right out though.  Keep up the attack, everyone."

The other two Voltorb don't seem to be quite as angry yet, but they're still attacking!

Spark B 1 on Daxter
3 Dex + 2 Fight + 1 Brawl - 2 Actions = 4d6
(6)(2)(2)(6)
2 Str + 2 Pow + STAB - 2 Def + SE = 3d6 + 1 Damage
(6)(5)(4) Daxter takes 4 damage! 1/5 HP -3 Pain

(4)(3) Dedenne takes no damage

Despite taking a powerful blow from one of the Voltorb, Daxter is still standing!  And he takes the opportunity to lunge at Voltorb C and get some payback!

(6)(5) Voltorb C takes 3 damage and faints!

With Voltorb C out of the equation and Snom perfectly unharmed, Rowlet picks another Voltorb to attack at random.

Peck on Voltorb A
(6)(1)(2)(2)(4)(2)(4)
(5)(5)(6)(4) Voltorb A takes 4 damage and faints!

There's only one conscious Voltorb left, and Snom's next up!

Powder Snow
(6)(1)(1)(1)(6)(1)(1) Miss

...but because she's in a bit of a panicked state after seeing that first Voltorb almost explode, she manages to miss the attack entirely.

"Ah!  What if the rain doesn't stop this one from exploding?!  Ooooooohhhhhhh..."

"Keep your cool, Ice type.  We've got this."

The bunny pokemon suddenly strikes, moving far faster than all the other pokemon present at the risk of falling off the tree branch!

Quick Attack 2 on Voltorb B
2 + 2 + 2 - 4 = 2d6
(6)(2)
3 Str + 2 Pow + STAB - 1 Def =
(6)(6)(4)(6)(1) Voltorb B takes 4 damage! 1/5 HP -3 Pain
(6)(4)(3) Bunnelby is Paralyzed by Voltorb's Static! -1 Dex
(4)(4) Bunnelby manages to maintain his balance despite the sudden movement on the slick tree branch

As Bunnelby makes contact with this particular Voltorb, some static electricity causes his fur to stand on end and hamper his movements.  "Grf!  Can...barely...move..."

"Don't worry Bunnelby, I'll finish them off!"

Tackle 2
7 - 4 = 3
(4)(2)(6)
(2)(6)(1) Voltorb B takes 1 damage and faints!
(-)(-)(-)

As the begins Voltorb begins to radiate that shadowy aura, Dedenne rams into them, knocking them unconscious and stopping its attempted detonation!

Daxter, Snom, and Rowlet get 9 exp.

The Rain continues to fall.

With all the Voltorb defeated, everyone's able to breathe a sigh of relief.  Dedenne looks at the wild Grubbin and chuckles.

"Guess you never tried to fight them in the rain, huh?  Little known fact that this weather can prevent explosions!  Honestly, it's a life saver sometimes."

Grubbin shakes their head.  "You all very brave.  Round pokemon very mean."

As Grubbin refers to the Voltorb, Daxter sees that shadowy aura manifest again.  Except it appears to be leaving the Voltorbs' bodies and gathering into a single mass.  The shadows then zoom off around the trunk of the large tree and deeper into the forest.  None of the others seem to have noticed.

There's another tree branch on the eastern side of the tree that appears to reach all the way down to an area Daxter's group has visited already, but it doesn't appear to be easy to reach from where they are currently.  None of the other branches of the tree seem to lead anywhere interesting.

Ponyta stops arguing with Blitzle for a moment and blinks in confusion at Karen again.  Blitzle almost seems to jump on the opportunity to change the topic.

"Oh wow!  Was that hidden in that pile of rocks?  Neat!  Did you know that Gold Bars are easier to find in desert Mystery Dungeons than any other kind of location?  Maybe we'll find some more we can split later!"

"Ooh, I'd love it if we found some more Gold Bars!  There's so many cool items at Glorious Gold that we could use!"

Ponyta sighs and shakes his head.  "What am I going to do with you two...?  Alright, fine, we'll take it.  Good job, I guess.  Let's keep moving.  That weird wind waits for nobody after all."

The fire horse leads everyone to the south.  The red cliff walls almost seem to rise out of the sand much more sharply, creating narrow corridors.

The surroundings are quiet.  Very quiet.  Not a single pokemon to be heard.  Everyone looks around uneasily, the walls seeming to close in as they cast long shadows...

The silence doesn't last long, as everyone in the group begins to hear the growling of a dog pokemon.

"Grrrrrrrrrr...."

Everyone turns around to see a Growlithe, crouched low to the ground and ready to pounce.

The next thing the group knows, two more have appeared from the two passages ahead of them as well.  Except...they look different.

One of them has a mane of grey hair, covering its eyes and giving it the appearance of having a long beard.  Its tail is much floofier than the first Growlithe's and the same color as its mane of shaggy hair.  The fur covering the rest of its body is a dark shade of red, heavily contrasting with the first one's orange fur.  A single, small horn can also be seen protruding from its head.

The third Growlithe looks nothing like any Growlithe Karen has ever seen before.  But that doesn't mean she doesn't recognize it.  In fact, it actually looks like it might fit the description of a certain pokemon that Daxter has told her he's been looking for...

As the three Growlithe surround the party, Ponyta isn't looking at them, but at the shadows behind them.  "Who's there?!  Show yourself!"

Karen hears a disturbingly familiar voice respond.

"Incompetent fools.  You can't even manage a simple ambush?  Well, no matter.  I'm impressed you managed to spot me, horse."

Almost appearing out of nowhere, Darkula the Vilucard steps out of the shadows and into the light, his black fur and red wings almost blending in with the surroundings.

The Lord of Darkness: In the Future - Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of T/D/S

"Well, well, well.  Look who we have here.  If it isn't the little Ralts that helped foil the plot of that wretched, greedy fox.  So, what did you think of her little surprise?  Kehehehehe..."

"Who are you?!"

"Who am I?  Kehehe...now why would I tell you such a thing, pokemon?  You are barely worth my attention.  It is only because you spotted me that I'm even speaking to you.  Well, that, and because you're traveling in the company of a certain, unique individual."

The three Growlithe all growl at Karen as Darkula says that, and they begin to walk closer, forcing Team Gallop, Karen, and Rolycoly closer together.

"Now, I was going to have my loyal dogs simply attack and remove you from the vicinity, but I do believe this presents an interesting opportunity, wouldn't you agree?  You see, the seer here has something I want.  And I am going to get it.  You will not interfere.  I will give you one chance to leave and let me continue about my business uninterrupted.  If you refuse..."

"Grrrrrr..."
"Grrrrrr..."
"Grrrrrr..."

"...then I'm afraid I will have to unleash the hounds.  Kehehehe..."

Ponyta is staring daggers at Darkula while Blitzle and Mudbrays' eyes flit between the three varied Growlithe.

"If you think we're going to be cowed by your threats, bat, you have another thing coming."

Darkula waves a dismissive paw.  "It's not you that I'm interested in.  It's the girl's answer I want to hear.  Now make your choice.  Leave, or fight."

Right after their expedient Ambush Platina glanced briefly at the noxious pile of trash, a Poison type, and bit off an angry retort as she realized her mistake. Oh darn it all, she should've attacked it instead of the Fighter! Just because she's Immune to Poison doesn't mean the rest of her companions are, and now they may suffer the consequences of her hasty waste!

'What done is done', though, the shiny bird quickly thinks to herself as she eyed the rest of their remaining, wounded adversaries. 'Let us finish what we started with them before they can compound my laspe in judgement.'

Seconds remaining before the next Round can commence, she belts out her advice for everyone: "Keldeo, attack the bear! Emolga, the Fighter! Kee, Kogeki, back them up or fight the trash! Go !!"

Orders: As we well discussed, we're going with Operation Double or Nothing. Keldeo and Emolga are heavily suggested to attack their respective targets (Cubchoo for K and Mienfoo for Emolga), while Kogeki is ready to Link Move Quick Attack -> Shadow Punch either the Cubchoo -> Meinfoo -> Trubbish, the order of priority being essentially 'Attack whomever is still conscious after/in spite of Keldeo's and Emolga's first set of Actions), only targeting the Trubbish if it's the only one UnFainted when it gets to his turn.

Of course, if the Priority would prevent him from using it to doing as I say ( @Dragonstrike ?), then I have a alternative suggestion for @Spiritmon - use the combo on Mienfoo, since they're more likely to Faint and they'd have to Clash it with their own Attack or Evade it if they want to avoid the possibility, and Phantom has already said they'll try to Clash any Fake Outs  they might use on anybody, so this alternative route has MAXIMUM redundancy built into it.

Other than that, Kee is ready to do his own Orders (Including Clashing any Fake Outs from Mienfoo, if they have it) and Kogeki may have other Actions besides the Combo, so let's get to what Platina is going to do:

1. If Cubchoo is still unFainted after everyone else's Actions, he's getting a Steel Wing for his troubles. If they Fainted but not Mienfoo, they get Pecked again. If both Mienf and Chub are Fainted, Steel Wing for Trubbish!
2. Second Action will be Peck against Cubchoo OR Trubbish (Whichever has the lowest HP, or Steel Wing against Mienfoo if they somehow survived the First set of Actions.
3. Last Action shall be a Strike against any Pokemon remaining with the lowest HP

Alright, without further ado let's wreck the rest of these wild 'Mons!

Moves:

Steel Wing
Accuracy:
If Used as her First Action: DEX (3) + Fight (2) + Brawl (2) - 1 Accuracy - 2 Actions = 4D6 Dice
If Used as her Second Action: 2D6 Dice
Damage: STR (2) + 3 + STAB = 6D6 Damage against ALL (+ 1 Damage against Cubchoo)
Effect: 1D6 to increase Defense by 1

Peck
Accuracy:
If Used as her First Action: 5D6 Dice
If Used as her Second Action: 3D6 Dice
Damage: STR + 2 + STAB = 5D6 Damage against ALL (+1 Damage against Cubchoo)
Effect: None

Strike
Accuracy: DEX + Fight + Brawl - 6 Actions = 1D6 Dice
Damage: STR + 1 = 3D6 Damage
Effect: None

Big Note: Platina's Ability is Keen Eye, she suffers no Pain Penalties to Accuracy Cost or any effect that would lower her Accuracy!
Big Note 2: For Spirit and Phantom, be sure to include contingency orders for where you want your attacks to go if your intended target gets taken out before your character's 'turn'. If you don't want to do a complex set of orders, I recommend just saying 'My [Move] targets [1st Guy], but if they Faint before I can attack then [PC] targets the Pokemon with the lowest HP' .

Daxter grunts in pain as the Voltorb zaps into him. Defeating them allows him to quickly pull the bottle of MooMoo Milk out and chug it down. He makes a face, grimacing at the taste. "Yech. Milk."

The weird shadows dispersing puts him on edge, however. He looks around nervously before he turns to Bunnelby and Dedenne. "Did you two see that? These weird shadows came out of the Voltorb and scarpered off into the forest!"

He then gets to his feet and takes a look around. "Why don't we go back down there? Take a closer look around?"

He then leads everyone back to the area that they had started off in (after climbing down the side of this wall) before leading them north and climbing the wall to the north.

...Chandelure has been properly defeated, yes!! ( ÒωÓ)و☆ That lets Kee allow himself exactly one moment to take a breather, especially after he strained his voice that much by snarling at the three remaining wild Pokemon. That's just one victory in this whole situation, as there's STILL danger ahead - that FIGHTING TYPE!! and that POISON!! especially! Fixating on the former, the crittercoon prepares himself by doing what he can best/what he (in his books) failed to do in his human life: Protect those he cares for from any harm!!

Orders for this Round:
Shall Mienfoo use FakeOut on any of us, Kee will clash that move by intervening with his head; same if Mienfoo decides to use a Fighting Type'd move against him. If neither of that happens, he will attack himself:
- If there are more than one foe remaining, he'll Snarl them away in hopes to defeat them. Target are those foes with the lowest HP; if equal, go by the Init Order starting at the top.
- If there is only one foe remaining (doesn't matter who), he'll give them a good Headbutt in hopes to defeat them.

Accuracy Roll Headbutt Clash: 2 Strength + 2 Fight + 2*Clash + 2 Single Action Bonus = 8d6
Shall the clash with a Fighting type'd move succeed, Kee will not take any double-SE damage.

Accuracy Roll Single Action Snarl: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 1 Channel - 1 Inaccuracy + 2 Single Action Bonus = 7d6
Damage Roll: 2 Special + 2 power + STAB = 5d6, NVE if hitting Mienfoo
Additional notes: Will autolower hit target's Special by 1.

Accuracy Roll Single Action Headbutt: 3 Dext + 2 Fight + 2 Brawl + 2 Single Action Bonus = 9d6
Damage Roll: 2 Strength + 3 Power + STAB = 6d6
Additional notes: Has 3 CD to flinch.

Kogeki was satisfied in see the ghost-type be defeated. When Platina gave the orders to the next enemy he said. "Understood Leader! Consider the job done!" Then he proceed to attack with everything against his foe. He charge forward against Cubchoo with his Quick Attack and Shadow Punch.

Actions: Use the Link Moves Quick Attack and Shadow Punch against Cubchoo. Then, I gonna use Shadow Blitz against Cubchoo. If Cubchoo will be already fainted, his attacks will be focus in the enemy with the less HP.

Quick Attack/Shadow Punch: Dex(2)+Fight(2)+Brawl(2)-Actions(2/4)=4D6/2D6
Damage: Power(2)+STR(2)/Power(2)+STR(2)+STAB(1)=4D6/5D6
Effect: Quick Attack is a Priority Move and Shadow Punch never miss the target.

Shadow Blitz: Dex(2)+Fight(2)+Fight(2)+Brawl(2)-Actions(6)=0D6+Will Point (If possible)
Damage: Power(1)+STR(2)+SE(1)=3D6+1
Effect: Super Effective against anything who is not a Shadow Pokemon.
Notes: Risk move to use? Even more if I tempt the luck die? Yep. However, we need to defeat our enemies asap, so I willing to take the risk. With or without Will Point use.
Kogeki currently ability to active in battles: Anticipation.
