[Game Thread] Pokerole Mystery Dungeon: Primal Shadows
Daxter groans. Right in the middle of a terrific mess. Of course. He shakes his head, as his eyes set on a Probopass and Crustle. Double rock? Sounds like it's right up his alley. He then looks around, his eyes settling on a Keldeo. He pauses. "Oi, mate. Come on, you're with me. See that? Double rock types. Two of us can bash them down."

He then begins to hurriedly lay out a plan. "The Probopass looks nasty but the Crustle and Mime can make things difficult for us so let's bash them down first. Rowlet, gonna need you to use one of those Astonishes on the Probopass, try to delay it a little. Hit the Mime with a Leafage after that. If you see any of them using a Rock type move on Sh- I mean, Braixen, stop what you're doing and try to help her out. Braixen, use that Fire Spin on the big one and then try to target the Mime. Keldeo, think it'd be best if you and I just hammer down on that Crustle. Everyone got it? Let's go!"

With only two pokemon left from the party's three groups of wild pokemon, finishing them off in short order is a fairly easy thing to do.  In fact, the Carbink is wiped out by a stray Razor Leaf from Roserade, while Ledyba is cleanly KOed after being completely buried by a Rock Slide from Rhyperior.

Let's see how the one group of NPCs did against Shadow Gigalith and friends.

(5)

Much like the rest of the party, Zeraora, Dedenne, Bunnelby, and Rolycoly seem to have suffered not insignificant damage in the scuffle, but they didn't need to resort to using any items to maintain an advantage.  With the assistance of everyone else, the remaining wild pokemon in the room are completely wiped out without much further difficulty.

Roserade and Rhyperior seem to be a little banged up as well, though not to the extent that most of the newer arrivals are.

Rhyperior looks at all the items in the room before addressing the party.  "Grab whatever items you think are safe to grab and let's get a move on!  This was the third wave of wild pokemon we've faced.  More might be arriving soon."

"He's right.  We shouldn't linger her for long.  If we stay on the move, we're less likely to be overwhelmed again.  If you're going to collect some of the items before we continue though, remember to watch out for those Spiky Traps."

The items scattered around the room:
- 3 Oran Berries
- 2 Reviver Seeds
- 2 Pecha Berries
- 1 Chesto Berry
- 2 Rawst Berries
- 5 piles of 100 Poké
- Roserade will identify this item as a Blast Wand.  Whoever has it in their bag can spend an action to wave it and fire an explosive projectile that will deal 2 damage to a single target.  It has 5 charges, so it can be used 5 times before it breaks.

Team OS and Team NW may also attempt to recruit one wild pokemon each from any of the ones present.

Everyone gets 16 Experience for clearing a Monster House room with the help of very powerful allies.

Conditional:
If Daxter's attempt to recruit Crustle should fail, Karen will attempt using a friendly approach to recruiting Crustle

"I wish we had more time now for reunions... but I'm not really feeling taking on another group of hostile Pokemon." Karen says to the Omega Seekers.
"Duly noted" she says to Roserade, before carefully making her way toward the stairs
With that, she's ready for whatever is on floor 2 (hopefully)

Shaking and coughing from that butterfly's Shadow Wave, Ziggy Kee's up and abour rather quickly again; and everyone working together the situation is diffused quickly and calmly. Now it's time for the crittercoon to do what he openly enjoys to do: Collecting loot!~( ÒωÓ)و☆ He's already in position to pounce in direction of the Blast Wand and Reviver Seeds, as Roserade's words of watching out for Spiky Traps cause him to halt and freeze in motion. Kee hesitates for the blink of an eye, then turns towards Kogeki/@Spiritmon: "Hey K'geki *gentle nudge*, ya tink with yar epic Quick Attack an' highened sense (Note/Hint, Kee means Foresight) you'd be able to go grab that Wand and these two Seeds over there WITHOUT trig- I mean activatin' any mean traps?~ ESPECIALLY that nice Wand, pretty please?~ C'mon, yar ninja skills can steal the loot away b'fore any nasty trap even knows what's happenin'!~~...*more semi-obvious pleading*" ......."Oh and dontcha worry, I have JUST enough space for that one Wand and the two Seeds in mah bags. ...Or rather one Seed, as one Reviver Seed goes t'you Daxter, let's-a share them b'tween us!"

Daxter peers around at the unconscious Pokemon as he contemplates recruiting one. He fixates on the Crustle, realising that it has the potential to be a real powerhouse and so he approaches it cautiously.

"Oi. Sorry about that, back there. Kinda caught us at a bad time, you know? Listen, we're adventurers. We go around the world trying to find stuff and fix things. Actually, the reason we're here is to try to get Landorus under control. You know them, right? Anyway, I think you could be a pretty great fighter with some practice and experience and a nice addition to our little team here. You interested in joining in?"

After the recruitment attempt, Daxter will try to grab 1 Oran Berry, 1 Reviver Seed and two piles of Poké. He'll be ready to leave after all of that.

After the battle where he along with everyone was able to defeat his foes, he look at all fall Pokemon. His instincts almost making him want to drain all of them. But he hold his arm, not letting his instincts control him. "Control yourself Kogeki...Not now. No in front of everyone. Not in this dangerous situation." Kogeki was startled when Kee nudge him. Seeing it was just his companion he calm himself. Kogeki look at him and then to the traps and finally nod his head. "Sure. I might be able to grab those items before activade them. Just in case I get hurt we still have Karen and a few healing items. But I dont think we will need."

Before he do his thing he tell Platina/ @Lord Windos . "Chief, if you have some idea what Pokemon we could take with us, I leave at your jugdment. And...you was amazing out there too." After that Kogeki close his eyes, and let his instincts let look at his field. When he was a human, he had to sharp his intincts to know better the location of his enemies, or hear the sounds and steps and breathing of enemies. To hit where it hurts more. But now as a Riolu, he could feel his intincts sharper than ever.

"Kurayami Omega Arts: Aura style, Danger sense!"

He then expand his mind trying to detect the location of the objetcs Kee requested using his Foresight.

This is how more or less I think Foresight would work:

After locating the items and trap (or try at least) he double his speed with Quick Attack and go after the requested items Kee requested!

Action: Try to use Foresight to have a better idea which items have traps and try to avoid the traps using his Quick Attack to double his speed. Lets put in use Kogeki ninja skills @Dragonstrike!

(Uh...Dragonstrike, while it is too late for it to matter, doesn't Keen Eyes in Pokerole prevent Pain from affecting your Accuracy Roll? Unless you decided to change your ruling on that, in which case I'd have like to know that ahead of time.)

Platina, soon after the frantic battles against the horde were swiftly ended, touched down and quickly set about dusting off and grooming herself to as acceptable standard as she could achieve, wincing all the while. So long as she was fit and able, she must look presentable, capable, and confident as a Leader or Adventurer, even if she has to endure a little (or a lot) of Pain in the process. Shortly afterwards she gave a quick glance around at her group's fallen foes, before turning to her group (and Snown) and nodding, trying her best to look and not sound as hurt as she was and project a aura of confident approval.

"Krgh....well, that could've gone better, but overall? Well done everyone. That fight could've gotten much more dire for us all, considering the trickery and powers our opponents had in abundence, but we were able to blitz them down with overwhelming force of our own. Take a moment to recover yourself and collect any of the treasures here if you wish, but do be quick about it. Roserade and Rhyperior said it best - the longer we dally here, the more likely we court further trouble with this Dungeon's inhabitants. I, for one, rather us not face down another riled up horde even more ill prepared than before."

Kee's suggestion to Kogeki doesn't need commenting on by the shiny bird, though she DOES take notice of his odd sense of restraint post-battle, tilting her head curiously as she observed. Why was he acting so...cagey right then and there? Strange....but not strange or concerning enough to question right now. Later, perhaps, when matters were not so pressing.

His suggestion and praise earnt him a smile and nod, clearly pleased with his respect and thinking. "Thank you. You did quite well yourself - savage yet deliberate in all your Moves and intent, and ever graceful in your execution, like an experienced Dragon. I don't know how amendable these Pokemon will be to joining us after the trashing they got, but I'll try my best to make them see good reason. Or, failing that, the virtue of our Strength. Good luck."

That said, Platina took a quick look once more at the fallen Pokemon, trying to gauge which one would be best for her Team. A moment of mulling things over and recalling was general Knowledge she could about these creature before her (as well as what she could divine from seeing them in action), she eventually settled her gaze on the Petitil. Taking a deep breath and literally Hardening herself, she let out and approached the little aromatic bud, gazing upon it most imperiously.

"Petitil, I will not mince words: you have utterly lost. Your tricks and efforts amounted to nothing, and your reliance on your boss' 'guidance' has lead you astray. Frenzy and mob mentality doomed you as much as your weakness.

"*Tilts head* ....But it does not have to remain that way. I see potential in you, Petitil. Great potential. Under Butterfree, and with the other Pokemon here? *Shakes head* It will be wasted. Squandered. *Points to self* With my group, though? High as the sky, and bright as the sun. You will be expected to work hard for it, but the results? *Motions around them* You've experienced them for yourself. Now tell me, what is your choice? To stay here, fallen, or to rise with us?"

Order: Diplomacy Roll on recruiting Petitil, this time using a Tough yet charsmatic approach and 'call to action' speech! Ideally it will be a Tough/Beauty + Contest + Allure roll that SHOULD benefit from her Special Trait of adding her Instinct Score (3) to her Beauty and Tough Social Rolls, and if possible I'd like to use a Will Point to further empower her Speech (or, more likely as it'll work, to completely Ignore her Pain in order to pull off an unflitching presense). Hopefully this'll work out, or least not absolutely fall flat!
