Crustle gains + 1 Happiness, for being the last one standing and being elated at being the crucial piece in your victory! You also get $1500 Poke from Aaron, as is right a tradition between Trainers and as a bonus for good behavior.
With that, your 4th Encounter is Finished! RP is still open, but aside from that rest up; tomorrow shall come, full of more adventure!
Crustle uses 13 exp to learn Feint Attack! Darren will once again take any potential oppourtunity to get in another healing at the Pokemon center, if he is unable, 2 Revives will be used on his fainted 'mons, and one potion each, which would completely heal Crustle, leave Glomena with 9/10 HP and Scizor with 10/11 HP. (items already subtracted from my copy of Darren's character sheet)
"Phew, Think... we did better this time, guys." Darren says to his 'mons that he used. It's at this time Darren notices the text from Seddi, to which he simply replies with a "thumbs up" emoji.
You still have priority service with the Center, so you're able to get your Partners healed up to full eventually! Even if not, a full night's rest would've done the trick - Bugs are surprisingly resilient, despite their myriad Weaknesses and 'supposed' low power.
Crustle gets in the 'groove' as he learns his new Move, baiting out responses from Big Beaut before landing a few softened blows here and there. The notoriously large centipede puts up with it, though they in turn practice their Horn-Based attacks by flipping them over on occasion when they get too cocky. Later on, Glommena looks fiercely determined at your words, once again fired up to prove herself a worthy 'successor' to her Evolutionary Leader. Scizors takes it with a certain amount of irritation - they're not terribly happy with getting smooshed or overshadowed, but they're not making a big deal out of it.

Super Rare Encounter: Chancing Upon a Feisty Chimera Round 1!
The thoroughly odd and bright critter has zero hesitation, bolting forward with one claw primed for playful (and savage) violence! Nalu is even quicker on the take, however, attempting to erect a barrier between him and feline ferocity!
Wide Guard 1!
(6)(5)(2) (6)(1)(3) (4)(5)(4) Crit Success!
*Ping!* - 4 Damage from the next Attack!
Crush Claw 1
Accuracy: STR + Fight + Brawl + *1 - 1 - 2 Actions = 7D6 Dice
(6)(2)(3)(3) (6)(4)(6) Hit!
Damage: 7D6 - 4 VIT + *2 = 3D6 + *3 Lethal Damage
(1)(3)(4)
The Move was Negated by the Wide Guard!
The lil' kitten bounces right off your spiky amigo, getting a surprised look from them before they grew even more excited. Oooh, a plaything tough? Yes, yes, most fun!
It takes a deep breath in, before unleashing a great torrent of all consuming flames!
INFERNO 2
Accuracy: SPE + Fight + Channel + *1 - 5 - 4 Actions = 1D6 Dice
(5) HIT
Damage: 8D6 - 4 INS - 1 IE + *3 = 3D6 + 2 Lethal Damage
(3)(6)(5) Nalu takes 3 Damage, and is englufed in flames! 8/8 HP, 3 Lethal Damage, Burn 3!!!
Hot, hot HOT! Now that is some karmatic payback, if you ever saw! Quick, water, WATER!
Scald 2
(2)(5)(5)(5) (5)(4)(1) *Sizzle, Sploosh!* Critical Hit!
Damage: SPE (2) + 2 + STAB - 1 - INS (2) = 3D6 - 1 Damage
(4)(5)(6) + (4)(2) Kitt-mera takes 3 Damage; 9/12 HP, - 1 Pain
(5)(4)(5) Nope!
The hot water manages to reduce your Burn 3 to Burn 2!
1/2 a Point of LD is recovered due to Regenerator!
The now quite apparently dangerous but cute kitty cat shakes off the boiling hot water, singed but undaunted. If anything they seemed happy from betting blasted!
Vibrating with playful and fierce energy the Kitt-mera wiggles their but for a moment before pouncing onto Nalu!
Grapple 3!
Accuracy: STR + Fight + Brawl +*1 - 6 Actions = 4D6 Dice
(6)(6)(3)(2)
Nalu is pinned and Grappled! They can't Move around, and all attacks against it have + 2 Accuracy! A Strength + Fight + Brawl Check can be used as an Action to free yourself from this Mon! Due to being on Fire, though, they start taking Burn Damage at the end every Round, though, same as Nalu. Not that it seems to bother it much...
Healing time!
Recover 3!
(6)(3)(1)(1) Aw peanuts
Failed; no HP Recovered! 2/3 uses remain of this Move!
2/2 LD recovered due to Regenerator; 8/9 HP, 2 LD!
Their quarry now firmly in place, the dangerously feisty feline begin to happily *Nom!* on your noxious urchin, treating them as both a play mate and chew toy!
Crunch 4
Accuracy: DEX + Fight + Brawl + *1 + 2 Grapple - 8 Actions = 2D6 Dice
(2)(1)
....And ends up dealing no meaningful Damage; seems they were more focus on play and fun than actually mauling your friend!
Burn 2 Check
4 VIT - 4 = 1D6 Min
(5) Nalu only takes 1 LD; 7/8 HP, 3 LD!
Burn 2 Check 2
*Skipped
Kitt-mera takes 2 Damage; 7/12 HP!
Note: You can use Scald on yourself to put of the Burn, at the cost the Move Action itself + taking a bit of Damage; can't Burn yourself this way due to, uh, already being Burnt at the time of the Move being used! Otherwise it's a Action to do a Extinguish Check mid-Battle. Current Status:
Nalu: 7/8 Effective HP, 3 LD, Burn 2, Grappled
Kitt-mera: 7/12 HP, - 1 Pain, Burning alongside Nalu due to Grapple (But not Burnt technically)
Super Rare Encounter: Chancing Upon a Feisty Chimera Round 2!
He'd use a burn heal immediately, figuring that it wouldn't try to use fire at that close a range.
''Nalu! Acid Spray point blank to force it off you.'' (3 dex + 3 fight + 5 channel - 2 acc = 9d6 dice; dmg 2 spe + 2 + 1TB )
After the Spray attack he would throw an Ultra ball to try and get it white it's caught up in surprise
Should it break out he will order Nalu to use Recover again (2 spe + 3 fight + 5 channel -4 acc = 6d6)
Super Rare Encounter: Chancing Upon a Feisty Chimera Round 2!
Immediately you spray the Burn Heal on your spiny amigo, dousing the Burn! The Kitt-mera is suprised by this, blinking and looking a bit disappointed as the 'cozy' fire was now gone on its 'prey-mate' chew toy. This damper didn't last for long, as they perked right back up as they started nawing on your friend once more!
Crunch 1!
(6)(3)(6)(3) (6)(3)(4)(4) (2)(2) Yeouch! Critical Hit!
Damage: 7D6 + 1 - 4 VIT + *3 = 4D6 + 3 Lethal Damage!
(6)(6)(3)(2) + (1)(2) Nalu takes 5 LD; 2/3 HP, 8 LD, - 1 Pain!!!
E: (6) Nalu's Defense is decreased by 1!
Not nearly having as much fun as their opponent - nor considering it very much fun at all, really - your punctured pincushion is eager to retaliate with a noxious mist right in opponent's face
Acid Spray 1!
Accuracy: 9D6 - 1 + 2 (The Grapple Accuracy goes both way with an attack this direct!) - 2 Actions = 8D6 Dice
(5)(2)(4)(3) (1)(6)(5)(5) An explosion of chemicals thoroughly coat this feline's body and mouth! Critical Hit!
Damage: 2 + 2 + 1 TB + 1 STAB - 2 INS = 4D6 Damage!
(6)(3)(4)(2) + (3)(6) Kitt-mera takes 3 Damage; 4/12 HP, - 2 Pain!!
Kitt-mera's Special Defense is reduced to 0!
TB: (4)(1) Nope!
Nalu Regenerates 1 HP; 3/3 HP! If you're confused: Nalu's actual HP value at the end of the round was supposed to be 7/8 HP, since the LD that was healed restored 1 max HP without raising their current HP value.
Startled, the ferocious flings away Nalu, before using one paw to try and scrap the vile taste out of its mouth! Yuck! This Poison was not fun to play-naw on, no no!
Throw 2 (Treated as a Strike)
8D6 + *2 + 2 - 4 Actions = 8D6 Dice
(5)(5)(6)(4) (3)(6)(6)(4) *BRACK!* Nalu is hits the side of a tree HARD! Critical Hit!
Damage: STR + 1 - VIT *3 + 3 = 1D6 + 3 Damage; guaranteed OHKO
Nalu see stars after such a forceful impact before passing out, firmly dug into the tree back by his spines!
The lil' fiendish feline perked up and let out a delighted and triumphant *roar!* , quite satisfied with winning his play-fight-tussle-trussle with the fun and interesting spiky ball! Win, win, yes most yes! Mighty Mon proven, most fun haven! Won't eat spiky-stingy-star - too much fun, no want nasty!
Wasting no time and wanting to end things before the smol menace could decide to resume 'playing' with your friend - or worse, you - you toss out your Ultra Ball, hitting them square on the head and sucking them up as they were trying to clean up from the Spray!
Ultra Ball Capture Roll: Seal Strength 6 vs 8 - 2 (Pain) - 1 (Had Fun!) Will Roll
(1)(6)(3)(3)(5)(6) 3 Successes! Winner winner, dangerous cat finnered!
(5)(3)(3)(2)(3) 1 Success
Gotcha! #$%^&$! Caught!
....Wait, what?
Upon picking up your latest Capture and checking out it's Summary (first through your Dex, then from the holographic interface from the Ball itself), you make a most odd discovery - the Data on this Mod is corrupted. The name is non-sense text and the Bio is mostly incomplete, with what little info there was on it bare bones at best:

....Well, you can safely safe this is a first for you. How're you going to sort this oddness out?
*Rolls Ins* Maybe Seddi or Bernard? The former said that he was a Pokemon Researcher of sorts, and this lil guy might be of interest to him given how unique they are. The later seems like a fellow that knows all sorts of arcane stuff, and this fiesty fellow is certainly most mysterious indeed right now.
Anyhow, Nalu and you gain 3 XP! Your last Encounter of the Day is over, but RP opportunities can still happen! Due to Regenerator, Nalu will revive with 1/2 Max HP (6/11) after a long night's rest, his Lethal Damage being prevented from getting any worse innately without any Checks necessary.

Before calling it a day he would send a quick follow up message to Seddi:
I seem to have caught a pokemon that has no data. There's only gibberish on my pokedex screen. Probably something worth investigating tomorrow while we have a professor around. It may not be a paradox but its a very interesting case for sure.

You only get a nod and a raised eyebrow for your first couple of comments, but your question immediately causes them to scowl and shoot a glance back at the receptionist, who looking both lost and even more nervous than before.
"....No, unfortunately. The reasons for that is simple: International Communications are down, as is International Trade. Despite my repeated inquiries at multiple Embassies I have not received a firm or clear answer as for why or how long until all is restored; at the point I'm suspecting either some for of espionage, counter-espionage pre-caution, or plain sabotage.
"Considering what has happened lately I favor more the later options, personally. *Aggrieved Sigh* I am trying to sort this out to save the trouble of sharing more bad news with my co-researcher, but at this point I imagine my efforts will be futile. Seddi will not be please with this, and frankly neither am I ."
That last point was clearly enunciated and directed towards the attendant and local guards and hovering officials, who all had the decency to look away, cowed by this woman's no nonsense attitude.
Well shit. There goes any plans to get in touch with your friends across the pond, or any means of coordinating at all for anyone else.
At the news, Sylvia goes still and the psychic buzz intensifies for a moment before she lets out a little huff.
>>Well. That is certainly bad news. You are correct - there isn’t much we can do about that.
Sylvia looks back at Randy, who shrugs as if to say, “your call.”
>>Our plans are put on ice for the time being, then. I suppose we should just be finding a room for the night.
Sylvia gives the professor a head bob that seems almost like a bow.
>>It was a pleasure meeting you, Professor Sada. If we could keep in touch, that would be greatly appreciated - though I’m little sure how much assistance we can provide, we would be certainly happy to.
Pokepod numbers swapped?
With that, Sylvia will turn to another attendant (if there is one - otherwise, we’ll steal this one from the prof for a bit) to try and get a room for at least the night.
Just a lil' Eevee, learning to draw...

(06-05-2024, 03:14 AM)Lord Windos Wrote: Regarding Iron Leave's possible aid: after a bit of convincing and explanation the evergreen guardian is willing to help out and restrain her natural outpouring of verdentivity, ready to assist with a Helping Hand while the blades on her body extended out and started emitting a ominous glow. Notably she doesn't create her signature Terrain in the midst of all this, but a closer look at her feet would she a few tuffs of grass and a few small flowers sprouting around them. Easily cleaned up, such things could be, but it does show that even deliberately throttling her power she can't help leak out a bit of it....
You also note that Juniper seems to brighten visibly in the presence of the Verdant Sword, seeming to try to flourish despite the horrific toxic condition they're in. Leaves herself is distinctly not moved by this, only looking to her Master for a moment for further input before readying herself to aid your operation.
With Seddi's Mons ready - Velzuna is a bit concerned yet excited about doing 'doctor work' with his Sharp Blades! - Fortuna ready to help direct and guide the efforts alongside you, Persephone singing a tune of Good Luck to ward away to worst outcomes (and to cheer herself up after an embarrassing night, omph), and Hecate on Stand By for healing, you take a deep, long breath, closing your eyes for a moment to center yourself, before letting it out. You bring out one of your Full Restores, applying it to Juniper to fully eliminate all her Lethal Damage, before you begin:
Operation: Heal 'n Gut!
Total Roll: Base 13D6 + 1 Dice; with ILs help, it's 15D6 now! Fortuna's Super Luck will reduce the severity of all but the worst outcomes of the Roll, as well as granting additional Fortune at a great Roll. Persaphone's Lucky Chant will Negate (1)s and prevent the truly fantastical and Strange from happening the best it can!
Now, let's see what -
(2)(6)(5)(6)(5) (6)(4)(4)(2)(4) (5)(3)(4)(1)(1)
...
...Okay then! I guess Dragonstrike's hotstreak is rubbing off you now, dios mios.
That's 10 Successes; combined with Fortuna's Super Luck, you have not only Succeeded in the Operation, you utterly aced it . You fall into a zen-like state of utter focus and precision, expertly using Velzuna to open up the patient and extract every last bit of that nasty, abhorrent Sludge that inhabited poor Juniper. At several points you even use the Sharp Fishie as a scapel directly, picking them up and using them like it was no big deal (much to their initial confusion) !
Working in perfect tandem with your Coven, perfectly orchestrating the rest of the assistants, you managed to perform a minor miracle: not only have you manage to completely cure them of All their Status Ailments, you also completely restored their HP, fixed several long standing issues you so happened to uncover, and even bolstered their Vitality with Iron Leave's and Hecate's supreme Special prowess! By the end of it Juniper the Liligant is good as new, if not better, Sleeping quietly on the operating table, finally at long last at peace.
Lastly, a most Strange but Fortunate occurrence happened: you're not quite sure how, but the combination of all that Healing and your near supernatural Skill resulted in all the sludge you extracted to congeal and Transform into Black Sludge! Enough for you and Seddi to have one Unit each. Score?
Black Sludge's Effect: In this Campaign, this Item has different Effects, based on the Type of Pokemon that Holds it -
Poison and Gooey/Sticky Mons: Works like a Better Leftovers, healing Base 2 HP at the end of each Round, as well as accelerating Will Point acquisition. Outside of Battle it'll eventually fully restore a Mon's HP after 1 Encounter of no Battles, or eliminate 2 Lethal Damage per Encounter of no combat that will also prevent LD from getting worse.
Fairy and Grass Types: They take 1 Lethal Damage per Action, but the Chance Effects of their Moves are Guaranteed and them + their Status Moves gain Extra Effectiveness; in particular, Status Ailments get nasty. Their Fairy/Grass STABs also become Lethal by default, though can't be made Extra Lethal.
Steel, Rock, Ground, and Ghost Types: - 2 Def and Sp.Def, but gain an Immunity to Chance Effects and all but Dire/Death Toxic Poison; they also gain basic Poison Touch as a second Ability
Dragons: Gain a Resistance to Fairy and a Immunity to Grass Types in exchange for weaknesses against Psychics and Ground types, in addition to Badly Poisoning them; in the case of Gooey Goodra, they don't get Poisoned and instead gain an Immunity to the Status.
Fire and Electric: Can blow it up as a ranged, one time 'Move' that acts like a Self Destruct that doesn't instantly Faint the user; can 'prime' it to detonate 1 Action later, and can also initiate a Grapple that can force said Item inside something they really don't like to all but guarantee Death on most targets and horribleness on anything that survives.
Everything Else (+ Fire and Electric Types): Anti-Leftovers, dealing Base 2 HP damage at the end of each Round and reducing the effectiveness of all Healing in General; can eventually inflict Super Badly Poison on Fainted Pokemon and reduces their Will by 1 in the process, but any Mon captured this way will absolutely HATE you in all but the most niche and weird of cases.
Can be further refined into Pitch Black Sludge, if one knows has the know-how of how to achieve it, or used as a ingredient in the most wicked and vilest of Alchemic creations, almost guaranteed to be a considered a warcrime by all but the most disreputable or insane sorts.
Juniper's Trainer is, needless to say, grateful for what you've done, being brought to tears at the (to him) miraculous twist of Fate for his precious plant Partner. He even hug you two, if allowed! He can't pay you back for the Full Restore or the GREAT service you rendered - the Monster in question extorted him of almost everything he hand to be allowed to escape further harm - but promise he owes you two BIG TIME. If asked about said Monster, he shares details that, if cross referenced with what Akamu sent about his most Recent Encounter, sounds an awful lot like the Head Goon he ended up chasing off...
With that, the 3rd Encounter for both Oz and Seddi is Concluded; due to external factors, so is Oz's Forth Encounter. They'll proceed to the nearest Center to rest, claiming they're Exhausted and emotionally taxed after such a Topsy Turvy day, and want to prepare themselves for the coming times ahead that no doubt will provid more of the same turmoil until all the crisis are put to rest themselves.

Oz was nervous at first, but after taking a sigh she looks at Seddi and his Pokemon, seeing his determination in save that Pokemon life. She could even glimpse behind Iron Leaves metalic eyes one thing she see the first time she meet her: Power and precision. Even in metal form, she can feel its power, a power who could might compare or be close to a Legend. It makes Oz nervous or maybe terrified, but at the same time...excited with the possibility to see its power in action.
She then look at each of her sisters: Calm and wise Fortuna, positive and energetic Persephone and mighty Hecate. All of them close to her and they nod at her, showing her determination. Oz take a deep breath, and aplying the Full Restore, she eliminate most of Juniper worse wounds, and then begin the operation.
For a slight second, Oz get...nostalgic, getting back in time, to the time when she begun her studies in medicine. First in her family house. And then when she decided to go a college of medicine, trying to get a degree in medicine to be a doctor. She could almost hear her mother and father in her ear, saying it was a waste of time, and she should study the traditions of the family. Carry their name...But her grandfather and grandmother was the only ones who support her dream. She still remember...Fortuna was originally her granny Murkrow, and Persephone was captured thanks to her granfather, who has a affinity to ghost-types. Even if their grandparents is not close to her right now, she feel...connect to them, thanks to her sisters. Almost as if they are here.
I wonder if they are still alive and well after so long...Would they be proud of me?
Oz shake her head. It was not time for distractions. She have a life to save.
"Velzuna. Here. Here. Here. And here. We must be careful to not cut important veins to not lethal hurt Juniper."
Obviously, Oz have gloves, a mask, a hat to not let hair fall in the body of Juniper, and clothes of operation. She was in deeply concentration. Since I not sure how much in-game has pass, but operations like takes a few hours (like, 4 or more hours) I leave you at how much at pass. From time to time, Persephone get close to Oz with a piece of cloth to clean Oz forehead.
After a long time, Oz, Seddi and everyone finally end the operation. Oz did found the Black Sludge. She was very fearful of the material, but she decided to keep safe in her bag.
Oz ask to inform Doctor Peace about the success of the operation and tell him Juniper situation is not only healed, but she is much better. "Doctor, Juniper is now safe. Thanks to Seddi, I was also able to identify other health problems, and heal her. She is problably even better than before. But...Seddi, his Pokemons and my own Pokemon companions help me. So the honor is to them. As a healer, the opportunity to save lives, is itself a reward."
When the man hug her, Oz was just happy. "No need to thank me. Our companions help in the operation of Juniper. She even better than before the operation. Just be careful to not encounter that Garbodor again. Lets exchange numbers, so if you or your companion get caugh again with that Garbodor, you can give me a call and I will try to help the best I can. However, go first to professionals of course. I just a medic in training, not a official professional. But if is nothing serious you can give me a call to."
Oz then turned in Seddi direction. "Seddi, thank you. Trully. This operation would be possible without your help. You are a hero." Oz then bown in respect toward the cowboy. "I will never be able to thank you enough for helping me save Juniper life. You show me that I still able to save lives. This hands can still save people."
Oz strech her arms. "I dont know about you Seddi, but after such long day, I really could use some resting. I pretty much beat up. Unless of course you want me to check on you? You said you was looking for me for medical checkup? How can I help you? Is the least I can do for your help."
"You heard her, Veluza. Just follow her instructions. Clean cuts, not jagged. Leaves, standby to assist."
shink! shink! shink!
Despite literally being a fish out of water, Veluza proves to be an expert at cutting. Only the very tips of the fishy's razor sharp bone structure are needed. He is definitely caught slightly off guard initially when Oz literally grabs him to make even more precise cuts though. It's a wonder that Oz doesn't cut herself trying to use Veluza as a makeshift scalpel! Maybe she partially has Leaves to thank for that, as the Verdant Sword subtly nudges Oz away from minor but dangerous slip-ups. Or maybe the inherent luckiness of her pokemon is to thank for Oz not losing her grip on slick fish scales and flesh that could fall off at any moment if Veluza were to move to quickly.
Leaves's Quash is the final step, helping Oz to literally squeeze much of the muck out of the incisions. Messy, but it gets the job done. And well enough that they end up with 2 units of condensed Black Sludge as well? That's certainly...something. Makes the cleanup easy at least.
Seddi, who'd been watching silently the whole time as Oz concentrated, finally lets out that breath he'd been holding. "Job well done. Let's get this mess cleaned up and go give this Lilligant's trainer the good news."
Seddi would be fine with the stranger hugging him. He was clearly very worried about his pokemon.
Oz trying to deflect the praise primarily onto him just gets an audible chuckle and a smile from him as he puts a hand on Oz's shoulder. "Oz, it wouldn't have been possible without you. All I did was lend you a few tools that I thought might be helpful for solvin' the problem at hand. If that makes me a hero, then that makes you a superhero for doin' a job that few others would even be willing or able to. Speaking of problems, though...sir, how'd your Lilligant end up like that? I'd be curious to hear the story behind that particular mess. Not every day you see a Grass type literally stuffed with Sludge."
Seddi takes a few notes, then frowns as he compares it to some other ones he'd taken earlier. He's clearly in an 'all business's mindset now.
"...darnit. I'm really gonna need to call this in. Seems a group of troublemakers is getting a tad bit too uppity in all this chaos. I'll keep an eye out for the varmint, though I can't promise that the authorities or I are gonna be able to make finding this troublemaker a priority. I'd say mass kidnappings and lootings on a city-wide scale are likely a higher priority target on most days, but I'll see what I can do. Definitely contact the authorities if you run into that group causing trouble again. I'd say to contact me as well, but I'm not a cop. I'm just helpin' them out as a favor right now. If you tell Oz though, she can send word to me. No promises I'll be able to divert any attention to it though."
Oz turning her attention fully on him (once they finish with Lilligant's trainer and updating the authorities about the incident) prompts him to wipe a bit of blood away from his nose again as he gestures for her to follow him to an out of the way spot. "Yeah, had a bit of a bad encounter with a magic circle in the Center when I was investigatin'. Gave me a nasty nosebleed and a killer headache. Still feelin' a little lightheaded, if I'm bein' honest. I can bandage external wounds just fine, but I think this is probably a bit beyond my expertise. If you're up for it, I could use a quick checkup."

...He later discovers that Iron Leaves managed to get Super Badly Poisoned for her 'absorptive' aid; she takes 1 Lethal Damage by the time you are able to treat her with a Full Heal or better, or 3 Lethal Damage if you rush to a Center to save on the cash. Her Terrain wouldn't work to counteract the LD, due to it's ramp up being too slow and how obvious said Verdant Terrain would be to the entire city ('Garden of Eden popping up in the middle of urban sprawl!' would sure make a big head line!), and the Center is only able to treat the Poisoning due not having the time or resources to do more now (unless you be wanting to flex your Authority...)
All's well that ends well...? Well, at least nothing got worse.
Seddi would absolutely use a Full Heal to cure that Poison. He asked her to stick her neck out for a stranger, so it's time to pay up before the problem gets worse. As for treating the Lethal damage, he could simply have Leaves use Strength Sap on one of his other pokemon (besides Goodra, who's immune to it) to rapidly repair the tiny bit of damage. If he has time to use a Full Heal on her discreetly, they should have time to use a single potent healing move as well! He's not expecting to need to use Leaves tonight, so it's easy to justify using the healing to fix the issue quickly and painlessly.

Okay, Vernon returning an egg to some wild Dewgong parents. Seddi can't help but smile at that. Those are some weird looking Dewgong though...must be regional variants.
Akamu's latest message is even more intriguing though, prompting a response.
A pokemon with no data? That sounds strange even for Sutalör. Care to discuss it over a drink tonight? An acquaintance of mine is gonna show me a favorite hangout of his and said I could bring along some company. Might invite some of the others too if they aren't too tired.
And as indicated, Seddi will message Vernon and Darren with an invite to join them at the Afterlife bar!
This is also around when Seddi would be sending those messages to Bernhard and updating Professor Sada both on what happened with the investigation and the need to delay tonight's meeting due to Bernhard and Oz being too exhausted by the day's events to make it.
Next stop: Afterlife with Dodger, Vernon, Darren, and Akamu! (Provided nobody is hungover first thing in the morning, it could be done as a flashback maybe)

I won't say no to that, after all that's been going on I sure don't mind a break. Can't even renember the last time I drank but that shouldn't be an issue. Just let me know where to meet up and I'll be on my way.

Oz nod her head in agreement, while she removed the gloves. "Yeah. Let's. Just don't forget to clean Veluza blades. Don't want your companion to get a illness because of the Sludge we remove."
Oz blushing due to Seddi words towards her. She put a hand behind her head while saying. "W-well...it was nothing really. I-I-I wouldn't say I some kind of superhero. Just did my job as a medic, that's all! Haha..." Seddi can clearly see she is not used to received compliments like this one.
About that information, Oz get angry. "I may be a medic, but I not above in beat the shit of bandits! You can count with me with that plan. Me and Hecate will blast those criminals with some well put psychics!"
Oz was really worry. Like a worry healer she is, she gently hold Seddi faces with her hands and tell him while checking on him. "A magic circle? Hmm...Maybe you should ask Bernhard about such information. Magic is not my specialty, even if I have a literal Coven of Witches as my partners. Let me check that wounds, and if there is something I can do."
Maybe a roll to see what's wrong with Seddi, or a medicine roll to patch him right away @Lord Windos?

"Yeah, had a bit of a bad encounter with a magic circle in the Center when I was investigatin'. Gave me a nasty nosebleed and a killer headache. Still feelin' a little lightheaded, if I'm bein' honest. I can bandage external wounds just fine, but I think this is probably a bit beyond my expertise. If you're up for it, I could use a quick checkup."

Fortuna gives a firm nod alongside her sister, her already sharp gaze turning almost deadly as she begin to plot out retribution for the one who committed such a atrocity. Dark though she may be, this wiccan raven understands their are lines that shouldn't be crossed, 'lest ye be openining yourself to being crossed out. Hecate too is of similar mind, the hat-hand of theirs taking on a glow as they made a fist and a stern frown, showing how serious they were about punishing such a vile nerdowell.
Persaphone doesn't really care much about the drama, by contrast - she's still in a mild funk about last night, but that aside she's a lot more blaise about cruelity and general wickedness, given her nature, species, and specialty as a witch.
No Roll necessary in this case - between her and her sister's residual magic, as well as Leaves being rather motivated to seeing her Master restored to 'Full Health and Functionality, Free of Deadly Errors' , Seddi's Lethal Damage is steamed and cured, bringing him back to full HP without any Healing Supplies. This uses up the last of Hecate's Healing in the process, but it most certainly went to a good cause!
The Trainer - Fernnigan Moussy, if you're curious - isn't too Beat Up about Seddi's lack of commitment to the case at hand, as his gratefulness for saving his beloved Partner and his own sense of practicallity and understanding make such things largely irrelevant. He gives you two a formal bow before departing, taking your advice and contact information with a wane but honest smile.
"Thank you, Seddi and Oz. I don't know how or when I'll make it up to you, but on my word as a member of the Moussy Clan I will! I'll be sure to keep an eye out for those thugs and share the details with you and the police - though I won't try to stop them myself, so don't worry about me playing hero!"
And that's a Wrap for this Encounter!
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.

I seem to have caught a pokemon that has no data. There's only gibberish on my pokedex screen. Probably something worth investigating tomorrow while we have a professor around. It may not be a paradox but its a very interesting case for sure.
Seddi's phone buzzing a few more times distracts him a little. Did something else come up?

He would indeed have the time to treat Iron Leaves, though you note she's a bit touch shy about as you apply the Full Heal. From your Bond with her, you sense she's unused to others actually taking care of her like that. Considering her immense Healing capability and innate regeneration factor, this isn't that much of a surprise now that you think about it. You can also tell she's more quiet than usual - whether that be from thinking about things or from wearing herself early for your shake is up in the air.
As for the Strength Sap Velzuna volunteers, surprisingly. Then you seem him studying and sizing up your hydroponic horsy and realize he's using this opportunity to 'read up' on another 'rival of the blade' and it all clicks into place. Oh you battle and slice hungry fishy...
(...)
Once you wrapped things up with Fernnigan and Oz - and were subsequently shooed out of the medical area by Dr. Peace once he came back to check on things - you go over and see if Dodger could join you to kick back and unwind at The Afterlife. Unfortunately that would not be the case, as he decided to pull in some 'double duty' to help get this mess sorted out ASAP , get everyone were they needs to be, and give the police force some much needed relief and moral boost (whenever he isn't laying into them for bad behavior, that is).
"Sorry 'bout that, mate, but it wouldn't be very dandy of me to leave things as they are. *Smiles* Don't let it put a damper on your spirits, though - here."
He hands you a card with what you later learn to be one of his membership card for the Afterlife's more high bar cliental, giving you a finger gun afterwards.
"Use this to by yourself a real good drink on me, and perhaps some other service that neon tech shin-dig offers. *Shrugs* I'd recommend using it to track down some leads on the helpers you want for our other big ol' disaster waiting in the wings or scrounge out some Bounty Hunter work or Trainer Requests to put some Poke in your pocket and rep on your name to make your life smooth as me, heh. You do you, though. And remember, have fun! Just 'cause the city is going to a Beliaddon's Inferno doesn't mean you got to overstress about it - you did what you could today, and I'd say its time for you to take a nice slice of comfort pie and party wine as your reward. Now go on and have a groovy time!"
After that he gives you the deets on where the night club/dive is and shoos you off with a grin and fond wave farewell before he gets right back to work. In a way he reminds you of a certain friend of yours - always eager, and always willing to put in the extra work to help.
You and everyone else meet up at the Afterlife - you got there last, but everyone else was held up outside by the Bouncer Ursaring and what looked to be his Bearartic groupie (who was shooting him moony eyes he was trying his best to ignore) until you flashed the membership card and explained things - and in everyone was. Things were just as wild and punk as usual here, though a few activities and the general low level shadiness and mercenary air this place had might raise an eyebrow to your Ace Trainer sensibilities. The music was different this time, however - Dark Disco
"Oi, you there!"
You turn towards the bar, and behind it see a punk-ish middle aged woman wearing rockerboy get up with a mohawk that was somehow glowing neon pink giving you a mildly reproachful look.
"Who invited you here? A 'Dea Day cowboy, a Sinnish monk and Bug boy, and a true blue Lola? *Shakes head* If this is some kind of set up for some joke, I kindly ask you all to fuck off with that. Now start talking, 'fore I get the Bears to maul 'n haul your asses out of here."
Once you explain things (I'll leave that to you to RP out, mates!), you're left alone with a huff, free to mingle and party as you please. You also are told about the Weekly Special Drinks, of which the details are down below.
Quote:
Upon inquiring, you get the following choices of Special Drinks to Choose From (All Cost $5000 Poke [Except ONE Drink...], can't stack with themselves but can with the others; Dodger is paying for your First Drink, but no other!) :

Dread Dead Blaster - She won't tell you what in it, but the sheer strong stench of alcohol and Ghostly/Psychic energy tells you it's hella potent. "I drink that'll make you feel like a King of Death, like ol' dusty Dread Dead and take you places, before and after the hangover, heh!" Positve Effect: Gain Justified (Base Pokerole Ability) for you and all your Pokemon, Doing Police/Bounty Hunter Type Work is Improved, Better Investigation and Training Rolls for 2-4 Encounters; Hangover: Gain Truant for you and your Pokemon in Battles and Social Interactions , become a Grizzled and Confused Detective force to take on at least one really odd Case for 2-4 Encounters.
Queedom's Uncle Robert - A spin on the Aunt Roberta mixed drink recipe made with Vespiqueen Honey and what she claims is a few drops of Beliaddon blood, giving you a smoky blood ruby red drink that literally gives off steam and ominous vibes... " Looking for a killer drink, a real devil's brew? Have a sip of Queendom Killer's favorite drink!" Positive Effect: For 1 Non-Super Boss or PD Encounter (Your Choice on the Day the Drink is Drunk), everything shall go your way; in a Super Boss or PD Encounter you and your Pokemon ignore their PDs and your Moves/Tactics are More Effective against them and have a 3D6 Chance to Flinch; Negative Effect: For 2 Non-Super Boss or PD Encounter, the world will be your enemy (Random Day(s) ); in Super Boss and PD Encounters you have severe disadvantage against them.
Redoer's Remorse - A bloody marry styled drink, made with a Tamato and Cherry Berry juice slurry and served with a spring of Whimsicott grown celery. "Something to take you back to better times and try to clear away nasty hangovers, just like Shiva the Redoer..." Positive Effect: Relieve the Best Moment of your Life (Special Encounter, ???), Much Bettering Crafting and Nature Rolls for 1 Encounter; Negative Effect: Relive the Worst Moment of your Life (Special Encounter, ???), You will be Unable to Catch Pokemon or Do Pokemon Battles for 1 Encounter
Savior's Redoubt - Cinamon spiced Chople Berry Stellar Rum and fortified Vanilla Payapa flavored Mega Coke, served in Metal Coat made glass. "A drink to honor the fellow that put Sutalor on the map and won it all, Savoir and Acrowls be Praised, heh ha!" Positive Effect: + 1 to ALL (Attributes, Skills, Specialties, Move Power, Chance Effects, etc.) , Better Encounters for 1 Day; Negative Effect: - 1 to ALL, Worse Encounters for 1 Day. Drink costs $10k Poke - Dodger WILL buy this for you, but in exchange you forfeit any Rewards you could get from the Battle with him Tomorrow) . You also get to keep the Metal Coat Cup (Acts like the Held Item version, makes Steel Pokemon happier when drinking from it) too.
@ Iron - You're gigantic lily dunk acting as a mobile drink dispenser and soberer (for when a patron gets a little too slooshed for their own good) tickles the staff and bartender pink, getting a laugh from the later and a couple of free hard drinks (though none of the Special ones) on the house for 'the service and the show' . If Munchlax is with you, he'd tug on your pants legs and point to the front door and make a pleading look - from what you can tell, he wants to hang out with the other bear Mons.
@ Redstone - If you're wondering, you don't see any of the BB Punks here, though you do spot several others that would fit right in with their general punk aesthetic and dubious lawfulness. Nalu is grooving to the beat of the club with a wide smile, while Lani ducks deeply into your backpack, annoyed by all the loud noises and now a bit tired and cranky from her early Battle Frenzy.
Like the wind, I come and go as I please... but I am always there to provide a comforting breeze.
