[Game Thread] Lord Windos’ PokeRole Adventure 2: The Wild Lands
Oz trying to muster more courage into her spirit to not get flinch by the captain gaze. She look at the horizon, at the storm. After 2 seconds, she return the captain gaze with her own gaze. "Some reasons. The first one...to look...more of this city. Its been years since I walk though this city, and wanted to know again this city and its marvels. And see what have old and new in Sütalor...but you could say I was searching for challenge too...to get me and my partners stronger. Me and my sisters get though a lot. A storm is coming, both figurative and literally. And you looks like someone who faced a lot of battles...But I will understand if you don't want to lost time with me. I will leave you alone if thats what you want ma'am."

(the fisherman-has-large-eyebrows is enough of a trope at this point that I can't tell if it's a reference, lol)

Sylvia turns to look out at the sea with him, settling into an Espeon-loaf. He feels calming. Being back in the sun doesn't hurt, either.
Any Luck? she asks, eyes closed, enjoying the warmth of the tropical air. It's a little off-putting not to be able to smell the water, but she'll bide her time and ask in a bit. Saying hello comes first.

Heya Seddi! Sorry in not sending a message sooner. I was busy these last days. Working hard to adopt a certain pokemon for adoption. I...gladly we do not need to handle that disaster so soon. This makes me a bit more relief. Although part me wish we didn't had to rely on Morgana help.

Sure thing Seddi! Still need to train some new Pokemon who arrive on my team who need to strech their legs too. Things might also been interesting since I working to get another member to my team, so we might make it possible a 6x6 combat! Just ask you to be a little patience since the new members still need to get some experience before facing you. Against a Ace trainer such as yours a girl needs to be prepared right? Don't want to embarassed myself in the coming battle! Also, did you have any news from a Espeon called Sylvia? She does mentioned your name and wanted to learn more about her and if she have any method of contact her.

Oz gets a reply fairly quickly.

I'm kinda relieved too, but 'relying on her' is definitely not how I would describe what happened.  She just...inserted herself into the situation, shall we say.

As for the battle, let me know when you feel ready then.  Though I should remind you that I technically don't have a proper full team with me for a casual fight.  Both Goodra and Leaves are a bit on the strong side, and my other three main fighters are currently undergoin' some intense trainin'.  I'll have them back in a few days though, so I'll have a more balanced team then.  Gives ya some time to prepare, I guess.  Hahahaha.

Ah, you've met Sylvia?  She's here for some research of her own, and I've traded numbers with her so we can arrange a business meeting at some point.  Tried contacting both her and her escort not too long ago.  Numbers were comin' up as unavailable, though.  Not sure what's goin' on there.

Yes please (moderate helping out)

"...Mmm, bad time to be exploring. Not just because of weather. City in crisis. Crime on the rise. Wild times like these....you keep your head down. 'Less you're willing to lose it."

They continue to simply take your measure, their cigar burning low in their hand all the while.

:...You're right, though. Storm is coming. Got to be ready for it. Always got to be ready for the storm..."

The woman trails off, a far away look in their eyes for a moment before their toucan clicks their talons on the cargo, smoothly bringing them back to focus as they take another puff of their smoke.

"*Exhales*....What are you willing to bet? Put on the line to Fight my crew? Day is slow, but time is still valuable. Make it worth our time."

"None yet. But that is fine. Some days just are bad fishing. Fisherman can't always be the winner, unless you want to whole sea empty someday."

Their voice is....if you ever heard the Narrator from Bastion? Sounds just like them. Only gently. Softer. Peaceful.

"Today is a good day, though. I found you, after all."

They tilt their head over to you, giving you a small but compassionate smile.

"Feeling better?"

Oz also typed, making sure in not leave any detail behind.

...Thats what make more fearful to be quite honest. Its extremely difficult to get a read on Morgana...Its like...I don't know, as if she can read though anyone soul. Its...terrifying to say the least. I wish I never in my life I have to see her ever again, but I fear thats something its not going to happen.

I hope they come strong and fierce too! Don't take it easy on me, because I sure not gonna take easy on ya!

She have a number? Wait, how a Espeon carry a cellphone with her? And how she can type the numbers and letters? Did she just...float the cell with psychic mind and use it to press the numbers? Or she have someone who help her with that? Also, isn't that worrysome they do not answer? Want help to investigate.

Speaking of worrysome news, no clue of John or his gang location. They just disapear after the event when they ambush me. I always on high alert so you better be careful if you meet them mate.

Oz was thankful to the captain. "Thank you. Willing to bet 1000 Pokedollars. 5x5 battle. Double battle to make things a bit more quick. What you say?"

A good bit, yes, thank you. Still quite a bit confused, though - might you offer any hint as to how I arrived here?

"Too low. Bump it up to $3000. 4v4. Double Battle. No Healing Items, No Switching, No Fainting. Deal?"
