She still didn't recover from the previous day ordeal. Not to mentioned the spell she summon during Seddi meeting leave her very drained. "God damn it! *Sigh* I still not fully recovered." She look at Seddi. She wish she could help him somehow, but...A idea then came to her mind. "Sister. I know I asking to much, but you are the only one with the Teleport ability...And Darren need help. I...I wish I could go with you, but my body still didn't recover. And my sisters will kill me if I force my body to much. Please, go with Seddi. He will need your help. If possible, I could let Fortuna go with you to offer speed. I trust Seddi with my life. Literally. Please, can you acompany Seddi with this sister?"

You also receive a scolding look for pushing yourself so suddenly, though her own worry for you and your friend outshines it fairly easily.

Glinda looked a bit uncomfortable with that suggestion, but at your pleading look and the grim seriousness of the cowboy she let out a put upon *Sigh* and nodded, taking Fortuna's Ball from you - and said raven giving a nod before hoping off your shoulder and landing beside Seddi -  before walking over and giving the man a formal bow.

"I and my sister are in you care. Let us go save your companion, Warded Soul."

Oz smiled at Glinda and Fortuna. She nods and then looks at Seddi. “Seddi. I trust my sister's safety in your hands. In Glinda's case, I trust her and my own life to you. If she died, I would also die. And make sure Fortuna returns to safety.”

Oz then grabs 3 items from her bag: A Max Revive, A Full Heal and a Max Potion. “I don’t know what kind of danger is so dangerous to put one of us in danger. But I will not let my sisters go without the minimum protection. Carry these items with you. I will need some help later to buy these new ones again.”

“Go now Seddi. Be the hero our companions need. After you get everything done, go to the Pokemon Center where I reside. I will be waiting there with the Nurses Joy to offer some quick medical assistance to Darren and anyone in danger."

@Iron I believe Vern would arrive around the time Akamu was finishing up 'healing' Darren + whatever stuff Seddi and Bern will do.

One of the Dodrio's heads looks saddened by their lack of SPEED to get here in a timely manner, while the other two huff in irritation instead, either insulted by NOT being fast enough or getting shown up by Humans and a Horse of all things when it comes to QUICKNESS. Your words don't help a lot, but at least it prevents the rowdier ones from acting up more.

Hmm... One more thing. I highly doubt it can do anything about the actual physical damage, but what Bern will also do is cast Aromatherapy by Spritzee over everyone at the scene (this includes every 'Mon being out). To calm the nerves mostly. If Solena can survive until being brought to the local PKMN Center, we'll leave them be. Aaaand Bernhard will call said Center plus hospital, telling them that they'll arrive with a grave emergency shortly - to have the nurses prepared already (very mindful of him).

Please also don't forget about Healing Wish too, unless Seddi has other options or ideas to patch up Darren's damage of the soul.

Damn, this was an EXPERIENCE.

Oz simply looked at her side and then looked again at Nemona and said. “Alright. If the champion herself is putting her faith in me, I can’t have the luxury of being weak. Consider the job done Miss Nemona.”

After the end of the call, and after making sure she is alone with Seddi and Ceruledge, Oz stops for a second and decides to give them some new information. “...Seddi. Thank you. For your words. Your understanding, and…well…you compromise in keeping my secret. It means a lot. And sharing your story too. I…Still need to face my demons…But I gladly I don’t have to face alone. I have my sister and now I have a good friend too. Your words and actions, little by little, are healing my heart.”

She then looks at Ceruledge and then at you Seddi. “...So…I want to return the favor…And help heal your and Ceruledge hearts.”

She then explained. “As mentioned before, I am an Evoker. We Evokers specialize in using our Will to directly wrestle and shape the very energies of Terra, Heavens, and beyond to actualize wishes, curses, mysterious, or other phenomena, natural and not. We can also specialize in the creation of custom spells. I…confess I was never good at spell shape art however, since most of my training was focused on the art of healing.”

“...However…Due to the trauma of…”that” day and Glinda's sacrifice, I was able to unlock a very rare power, even among my people. Extremely hard, but also extremely useful.”

“The Purifier Evoker. Also known as Blessed Evoker.”

“Basically, it’s a very rare and difficult type of Evoker who specialize in the most positive form of Earthpower, focus solemnly on purification, blessings, healing and safeguards against nasty conditions and bad magicks. More or less like a White Mage on video games if you want a reference.”

Oz then looks at Ceruledge. “If I am not mistaken, Ceruledge armor is made of grudge and negative energy. Kind of walking cursed armor. You did mention Ceruledge would probably prefer to become an Armarouge instead of her current form. If it is the desire of both of you, I could try to use my Purifier ability and try to remove her armor and turn back to her previous form. With your resources, you could get the other type of armor and then make her evolve into an Armarouge.”

“There are a few problems though:”

1 - I never get the chance to properly use this power, so there could be complications in that regard.

2 - I'm extremely rusty since it’s been years since I used any spell. You see for yourself how one simple Tailwind leaves me exhausted. And that should be my niche due to what I am. And that brings to the third problem.

3 - During that…”day” my gauntlet was completely destroyed after such events. I didn’t have the necessary skills to rebuild my gauntlet, and I could not return to Sütalor nor return to the Magi Embassy. And I wanted to leave behind my past, so I just…discard my gauntlet.

“In short, there are high chances this process could go wrong, and could cause a big stress on my body. Before today, I used this power once, to escape John and his BBs by summoning Phantom Force directly from Persephone Pokeball…and that by itself was enough to hurt my body and make cough blood. Pull of such kinds of spells without a magic focus, without practice and using something I barely know could spell doom to me and Ceruledge.”

Oz take a breath. “...However, I did some research and learned the theoretical side of this power. Maybe with some proper training, practice and use of an alternative spell focus, I could give a miracle.”

“It is the minimum I should give to both of you. You helped me to have hope, Seddi. You helped heal the scars of my heart, and to slowly rebuild my relationship and trust with my sisters. So…Let me help you and Ceruledge. It’s like I always told you Seddi:”

“A healer can’t save everyone. But they can save as many lives as they can.”

“That’s my oath, Seddi. But a healer's job is not only to heal the body. But also the soul and the heart.”

Seddi holds up a hand and shakes his head.  "It may not have been the original plan, but we've learned to live with it.  It'd feel weird to change that now, especially with our reputation as Swordmasters after well over a decade of trainin'.  Besides, that armor is rare.  Not the kinda thing ya find layin' around just anywhere.  The thought's appreciated though."

Nemona lets loose a particularly vile swear at THAT bit of news, looking rightly alarms and NOT happy about it. She, like any sane person, fears these Pokemon, but she has an especially sensitive to Shadow Mons due to....

...Well, she never gave you the full story, but one of her personal Team Members , on loan to an Agent sent to covertly check up on Blueberry Academy. The Agent never made it back, but her Pokemon did.

Forever Changed.

"*Scowls* Really wish you lead with that, Seddi. *Mutters* Deus....as if we need the terrors and monsters of the Old World mingling with Sutalor's chaos. *SUPER Stern Look* Deal with it however you can and with extreme prejudice - don't worry about politics or nothing stopping you. I'll throw my weight around if nothing else to protect ya, foreign policy be damned."

She ends the call abruptly after that - no doubt barreling out whatever place she found to vent her Frustrations on some poor Mon or Trainer.

Later on in the evening you also get a message (I would PM you, but your box is Full mate!) , though its nothing too urgent now.

Seddi shrugs and looks to Oz.  "Well, ya heard the lady.  If ya hear anythin' more about altered pokemon, let me know as soon as you can, Oz.  Could be related to Leaves's mission.  Hopefully not, but doesn't hurt to cover our bases."

Whatever time it was your Phone chimes with a ear grating BLARE . Simulatenously you feel your Astral Stone warm up with a dull, dreadful warmth....

Darren was in Dire Need right now.

And, judging by the Alert Seddi got about a Flutter Mane being recently caught and Contained somewhere at the Beach's 'wilds' ....

Fuck.

He might have had more to say, if his phone hadn't set off an extremely serious alert!  And given what the gemstone is telling him as well, Seddi can only really come to one conclusion about what just happened...

"Vaultin' Veluza!"

Out comes the fishie!  And he looks serious this time.  He knows exactly what that alert means.

"Not today, buddy.  Not against a Flutter Mane."

Veluza's fish eyes go as wide as dinner plates!  Oh no!  Not the only Ghost in Area Zero!!!

He turns to Oz and Goodra.  "Looks like I'm goin' on a Flutter Mane hunt without a Steel type after all."

Oz trusting him with Glinda and Fortuna gets a nod from him, and he gladly takes the additional medical supplies. Gotta make room for two pokemon in his party though, so...  "Veluza, you'll need to stay behind.  Goodra, it may be against my better judgement, but you should stay behind too I think.  I think we both know how you'd fare against a Flutter Mane of all critters."

He has two ideas to get to Darren as fast as possible:

1) Fly over the crowds and any obstacles with Fortuna's assistance, using a combination of Rabsca's Reflect/Light Screen (with Synchronize to maintain a similar initiative and guide the positioning of the Screens) to help facilitate that and maintain the speed from the Tailwind despite the carry weight.  Maybe a little slower, but definitely safer.

2) Less preferable in some ways, but probably faster, and only really being considered because of the nature of the crisis: ride Leaves straight there.  With a Tailwind up, she'd practically be a blur, and he can slip into a discrete alleyway near the Afterlife bar to summon her without drawing too much attention hopefully.  Risks her being spotted and has additional risks due to being high speed ground based travel in an urban area though!  (Subject to Iron Leaves's approval)

Negativity burns ever bright and can be overwhelming, yes, but when put in service to a High Cause (you) it truly is a Forge for the SOUL, to maketh a Blade to Burn, Blight, and Butcher all that would dare violate you and what you two hold dear...

Leaves is able to send you a 'message' (more a feeling) that indeed any Shadow/Nucmons found in the Region are not tied to The Mission....though recommends you deal with them regardless to prevent them from exponentially complicating the severity of it all. A second Nuclear Disaster or Shadowy Revolution is the LAST thing the world needs.

You could feel Kusanagi's Ball tremble in Anticipation as you talked - for a moment her Bloodlust and ardent Wish washed over you, threatening to drag your mind to places you just finished re-exploring. You're strong than THAT to let it affect you for long, however, worrisome as it could be to be so influenced by the Old Blade of Glory despite your tenuous Bond.

Your Fishy Sword was...well, they weren't happy to be put away/stay with Oz, but they understood the necessity of it and agreed. Goodra, however...

Then (after getting outside), with a VIGOROUS Tailwind conjured up by the raven you're off, soaring over the bustling crowds with more than decent haste! Several people gawk at you and a few times you end up almost pasting a poor bird or pissing off bigger ones, but no time to focus on that! To the Bug Boy's aid!!!

By the time you manage to track down where Darren nearly got himself KILLED at you find Bern having already Wished Away their Curse (and subsequent More Than Humanization) while Akamu had arrived only a few moments earlier and *just* was beginning to do their 'donations' .

Verry sorry Darren, your soul damage will have to wait a bit, but Bern is not against providing it iffff you perhaps can make up to him in some way sooner or latter.

A cowboy arriving on black wings to a secluded beach!  It certainly makes for a striking image.

He's ready to bring out Kusanagi at a moment's notice if a fight is going to break out.  This was their deal, and he'll fulfill his end of the bargain if the chance arises.  Would be a shame to lose her here before she even met his final Sword, but he's a man of his word.  She wants a Fight, she'll get a Fight.

Seddi would wait until he's not interrupting any 'medical procedures' before he says anything (you don't go and rush someone making cuts with a knife, even if they are only cutting themselves!), so as to not cause more harm than good.  He's got more information here than the others do thanks to the nature of his job, so he's making sure to give everyone a very quick briefing of his understanding of the situation once it is safer to do so.

"If nobody's in immediate danger of dying now, we need to move to a safer location as soon as possible.  From the information I have, I'm gettin' the impression Darren caught a Flutter Mane, and the read I'm gettin' from here is that it's pissed.  We need to secure that critter's pokeball before it can cause trouble.  And believe me, it's going to cause Trouble with a capital 'T' if we do nothin'."

This is one of the most powerful Paradox Pokemon that resides in Paldea, and that's before you even consider whatever Sutalör has been feeding the Malefic Monstrum!  Suffice to say, Seddi doesn't want to necessarily find out what it's capable of first hand without being extremely prepared for it!

Glinda is summoned shortly after that statement.  "We've got a Teleport handy, courtesy of Oz, so let's move as soon as we can.  I'll contact the Professor as soon as we're back."

As for Oz, she get the hell out of the Afterlife, carrying both Veluza and Goodra. She run, as fast as possible to the Pokemon Center. She make a quick change in her team, putting Dite in the Box for Persephone. Just in case something do happen along the path to the Pokemon Center (like received some kind of ambush of John and his BBs.)

She try to go to the Pokemon Center as quick as possible and get the Nurse Joy informed about one of her friends coming to get medical help ASAP. Better be ready than sorry for anything.
