Have you tried sending a PM to either Revees or Cody? They are the ones you should get into touch if you have problems of this nature. Best piece of advice I can offer is to install Uranium on another computer, extract your save from where its located, and try running that to see if the update didn't just bork up for you specifically. Though, if that is the case, it would be pretty hard for you to play Uranium at that point...
