definitely looks like someone is duping pokemon then. I've also run across the occasional pokemon that I'm pretty sure has been the product of hacking of some kind due to certain anomalies (well, honestly, it was probably just someone less-than-perfectly editing the save file).
I really don't get it. Okay, cheating/duping isn't too hard in this game because we have access to the save files. And I won't necessarily sneer at someone who wants to cheat for their own personal enjoyment, if they keep it to themselves, but... why the hell would you wonder-trade things like that and mess with other people's experience of the game?!
Guess I'll probably be releasing this guy. And now I feel like I have to breed until I get my own shiny flager so I don't feel like I have an unearned pokedex credit from this thing...
